The house is comfortable and well equipped. A very short walk to the beach for a play in the water during high tide. Lovely sheltered deck to hide from the weather if desired. Walking distance to Pokhara. Easy drive to Albel Tasman and heaps of other local sight seeing and activities. Takaka is big enough now so that a stop in Motueka is unnecessary for buying groceries.

We had a lovely stay at Rach’s house. As advertised a lovely kiwi bach. Beds were all very comfortable and there were lots of pillows to suit everyone’s needs. The second fridge was a blessing with all our food for the week.
Ligar bay was a beautiful and quiet beach and was perfect for a swim/float at high tide and walking at low tide.

This house was in a great location, just a minute's walk from the beach, with great bay views. Everything was nice and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking a xmas day feast. We had a few questions prior to arriving which Rachel was very quick to answer helpfully.
The kayaks and paddleboard provided were a great bonus. Overall we had a really good time in Ligar Bay and would definitely recommend this property!

Fabulous place
Loved this house. Spacious with wonderful views and close access to the beach. The kayaks a welcome addition to use so we could paddle to beautiful Tata Beach. The property was exactly as described on the listing and well kitted out. Would stay Again!

Awesome Location
We have stayed a a number of Ligar Bay properties and this is one of our favourites. Close to the beach, big deck to relax on and lots of sun. Would love to come back.

Could not ask for more
From the outset the owner was very obliging and understanding particularly when our original booking numbers changed due to on going covid restrictions with Australia . The house and interiors completely matched the website which is a always reassuring as me its position one house back from the beach meant great access and views. I would not hesitate to recommend this Bach. We had a wonderful time.

What a great place to stay, loved our time there. Awesome location just a stones throw from the beach and with heaps to do in the area. Nice clean property. Highly recommended. We will be back.

My family stayed here for a week and it was the perfect spot to explore from. Nice and close to the beach. A very beautiful part of NZ and the bach was very comfortable, it had everything we needed.

Heaven on earth
For large city dwellers, this was paradise. Sunny stylish house with uninterrupted views of the sea and only 100 metres from clear blue swimming and a golden beach.

Property is very well maintained & presented. The views are great & it is very close to the beach. It had all the required amenities & is very comfortable.

Great for a family
Great location and space for a large family. Kids could walk to beach in 2 min. Very well equipped kitchen. We choose the place because of kayaks but did find these hard to get to the beach as the trolley was broken. House was reasonably clean but we found felt like it needed a little more attention as there was a lot of dust in corners and under things, and dead bugs and bits in places. Overall we would stay again though!

We found the house perfect. Great views,clean and comfortable and roomy. Everything needed supplied.
We had a great time during the 4 days of mixed weather to and fro from the beach and surrounds.. A mini family birthday party for my now nine year old granddaughter on the covered deck was enhanced by the beautiful views despite the changeable weather and was enjoyed by all. Lots of books and games for a rainy day. Thanks. I would really recommend for all age groups. Yvonne
