This desert home was perfect for us..lots of privacy, wonderful patio with mountain back drop and walking distance to town. The house has everything we needed, and the beds were great. We spent 10 days with blue skies and sunshine. A great reluef from Pacific Northwest winter! Thanks.

We enjoyed our stay in Borrego Springs. The property was lovely. The kids enjoyed the spacious front and back yards. The views of the desert and mountains and sky were as beautiful as billed. I wish we had known about the loud music and noise on Friday (till 9pm) and Saturday (till around 10:30ish pm) from a bar in town. The sound just carries out there. Also, the telescope was missing, which we had planned to use for star gazing. Nonetheless, we loved our stay and would go back.

We love Anza-Borrego and this was our best stay yet. Brad and Genie’s place was spacious, comfortable, clean, centrally located, quiet, and altogether delightful. We’d love to stay here again. December in the desert is glorious!

We loved everything about this place. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing. The dark skies make for the best stargazing! The owners have thought of everything—they have a great selection of board games and lawn games for entertainment. Their guest book gave us a couple of great ideas as well—one of which was scorpion hunting at night with a black light flashlight from the kitchen. My kids found a scorpion each night and thought it was sooo cool to see it glowing under the light!! (I was probably just as excited as them, to be honest.) The patio is a wonderful place to relax. And the overall cleanliness and amenities of the place were perfect. As far as activities in the area, we spent a day exploring Anza Borrego. The visitor center has a neat little scavenger hunt for the kids, and then we hiked The Slot which was very pretty and another favorite for the kids. We honestly wished we had a couple more days in this place! Highly recommend!

All 3 of us really enjoyed our stay here and only wish we had more time. The house was very clean, kitchen well-equipped and overall had a lived-in friendly feel. We spent most of the time on the back patio (super comfy) checking out the stars and birds.

Cheerful and comfortable home with all that you need. Well located. Outside space is a delightful as well. A coming backer, for sure. You’ll have to read our journal entry in the house to get the nitty gritty on the hikes. :)

We enjoyed our 3rd stay in this pleasant home with great views and immediate walking access to markets and shops. The back patio is the place to be - a table for eating, couches for lounging, a clean grill, and even horse shoes! We will return again!

We keep returning to Casa Colibri for its location close to town and trails, and its beauty inside and out. The paint and decorating colors bring the desert inside. The large windows and sliders have mesmerizing views of the Anza Borrego desert. It's the perfect retreat where we can start our day with coffee on the patio, hike a great trail nearby, walk to dinner and then lounge outdoors after dark watching the stars.

This is our second time in this house- we came back because of the great location, amazing outdoor space, clean, comfortable and well equipped house and great WiFi. We are already planning to return next year!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The home is charming and exceptionally clean. They really ensure that every single nook and cranny is neat. It feels like home as well. The backyard has a number of outdoor seating to lounge, gather and just enjoy being out. My family is already talking about returning.

We had a great stay in Borrego Springs with desert surroundings walking distance to town. The home was very cozy and breakfast on the back patio was perfect accompanied by hummingbirds. Plenty of cooking supplies and the grill made dinners more entertaining. The kitchen was well stocked with seasoning ingredients plus oils and condiments. It’s a great area to get out and enjoy nature along with being much warmer than the northeast! Thanks for sharing this nice home with us

Host, Brad, was very responsive and helpful. The house was very well equipped. Very clean and stuffed with various goodies, like cereals, vine, coffee, spices etc. Beautiful, well furnished terrace, ideal place to spend mornings and evenings. Place us on the walking distance from the “downtown”. Couldn't find anything negative.

The house was exactly what my husband and I were looking for to spend Easter weekend in Borrego Springs. We stayed with our two children aged 5 and 2 in order to visit with family staying at a nearby RV resort. The house was very nice with plenty of space and perfect to retire to in between visiting with family at the campgrounds. Location of the house is great! Highly recommend!

This is our second stay in this pleasant and well-situated home near downtown Borrego Springs! Clean, well-stocked kitchen, welcome gifts and many extras, we really enjoyed our stay here! We loved the fire pit out back and the hyperactive hummingbirds! Brad is quick to respond and we really had no problems. Check-in was a breeze. We hope to return again!

What a great weekend with family. Enjoyed this beautiful Casa Colibri hime with my 99 year old mother and siblings. From the moment we arrived it felt like hime. We love the location, the house, the atmosphere. Could not stay at a better home. Thanks for a lovely visit.

This was our second stay at Casa Calibri. We love the proximity to hiking trails and local businesses, and the home's many amenities make it a perfect place to relax after a day out exploring. Brad and Genie have thought of everything (see their comprehensive home manual) and always respond quickly to questions. We didn't have a chance to use the firepit so I guess we'll have to come back!

We had a great time at this 3-bed room house! The place is super clean, well decorated and equipped. The communication with Brad is very efficient. He took great care of the house as well as all his guests.

Our fourth trip to Borrego Springs and the best place we’ve stayed. Very clean, very comfortable, well equipped, great location, and fantastic outdoor space!

My two sisters and I loved this house.. everyone had a comfortable bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room nicely separated from bedrooms. The back patio was a joy, complete with beautiful ripe limes right off the tree.

The home was very clean upon arrival. Instructions & access very simple & secure. Home is close to Christmas circle, grocery stores & restaurants. The patio was the real reason why I selected this home. The covered patio, BBQ, lounge chairs & spectacular view were all very enjoyable for morning coffee & evening cocktails. The real wood burning fire ring is nice to sit around when the sun goes down, so bring some fire wood. The living room has a large sofa, comfy chairs & WiFi TV which allowed us to watch our favorite football teams or morning FOX news. The circle driveway makes easy for easy access for loading or unloading items. Just remember not to drive into the backyard as this is where the septic system is located. I would definitely rent the home in the future. The owner is super nice & allowed us to stay an extra night at the normal rate on a very short notice. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home in Borrego Springs.

This was our second visit to Brad & Genie's place. Anytime you encounter a repeat-visitor, it should speak volumes! This house is so comfortable and the hosts are the kindest people. Despite the cooler weather in December, it was so nice and relaxing. The house is warm, safe and quiet. This is our favorite place in Borrego and we hope to be back many more times. Convenient location for walking to restaurants, shops, and farmers' market. Especially loved outdoor patio with comfortable furniture, barbecue, citrus trees and hummingbirds. Kitchen was well stocked and house very comfortable. Brad and Genie presented us with a welcome gift and went out of their way to make sure everything went well.

This house has the best back-patio space ever. While it was only my wife and myself enjoying an escape from the (0ily) coast, we really liked all the space this house and patio offers. The TV and living room was awesome, so we binged on "Queen's Gambit" and rode our on/off road electric scooters several miles on multiple runs. The ride up to the state park camp ground is awesome. Brad & Genie did a great job putting together a very easy access, super comfortable place that is ideal for a launching point to see various parts of the beautiful area, but just hanging on the patio is nice enough and gave us a lightning show and some stars at night. We had all we ever needed and enjoyed the fact Brad's family is shown in photos here and there, its nice to see legacy and family, and know you renting from kind, generous people. Thanks Brad & Genie, we'll definitly be coming back here each time!

What a excellent rental. One of the reasons we choose this home was for the ability of my 98 year old mother to feel comfortable in a walker visiting with myself and siblings after some covid distance. The home was so clean and well suited for 5 adults. I cooked all our meals at the property with the exception of pizza from Carlies one night. The weather was hot so our hiking was limited to sunrise hikes each morning. Nothing like watching the sunrise in Boreggo, it is beautiful. The patio is so comfortable with the fans and the furniture. Enjoyed being close to town to walk to the farmers market and the stores. The beds are so comfortable we all mentioned how we can’t wait until our next visit. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We made some great family memories.
