We LOVE staying at Robin’s! The house is easy to access and has everything you might need for a long weekend stay! Plus - dog friendly is key for us and it’s perfect for the dogs. We loved the Moose View suite and we’ll definitely be back.

We love Steamboat and love staying at Under The Gondola. Robin is such a great person and makes everything perfect. Our dogs love it too as they constantly meet new friends of likeminded dog owners. A truly great property all around.

We have stayed in dozens of VRBO accommodations for more than 20 years. In most cases, they have been good experiences and of course, there have been a few that were dicey to say the least. Also, in most cases, the pictures on the VRBO website are often nicer than the accommodations. But - in this case, the pictures did not do justice to the Moose View Suite! It was sparkling clean - tremendous care was given to each and every detail of the suite. The appointments are top notch - from the the appliances to the bed and bath linens, and to all the wonderful and thoughtful items in the efficiency kitchen. The decor is simple, elegant and the home casually comfortable. Every detail was meticulously and purposefully attended to. The suite is large enough for entertaining; we had our dear friends over for dinners...The outdoor space, with the sitting area under the twinkle-lit pergola complemented by a lovely firepit, allowed us and our dogs to relax and enjoy the sweeping views of valley of Steamboat Springs. Evening drinks with our friends, and our morning coffee were especially tasty because of the environment. Our pups enjoyed our stay was much as we did - the fenced patio and small grassy area was safe and clean. Of particular note was the warmth and hospitality of our host, Robin. Thanks, Robin, we will definitely be returning!

My second stay and just as great as the first. The communication was on-point, the suite impeccably cleaned, and my puppy in heaven out in the yard. The suites parking spot was well marked, good size, and easy to get into. The unit was so bright and airy - it was the perfect spot for me to work remotely (while wishing I was skiing). Thankfully, when I was ready to ski it was literally a walk across the street, skis on and I was off. Big yard for the dog - completely fenced with gates & latches. With a fridge, microwave, gas grill and dishwasher I was able to cook my meals with no issue. Definitely the best option for anyone with a pet (or even without - it was such a great location and comfortable!).

Great condo! We needed dog friendly and that is what we got! What a great place to spend time with family and friends and have your dog their too! Easy access to the base area. Robin was very easy to work with and always replied to my emails before we arrived. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a two-night stay here and would definitely stay here again when in Steamboat. Dog friendly for a small fee with plenty of secure space for your dog to run around. Heated floors in the bedroom were a nice touch. Host is nearby and very responsive.

Great place! Everything we needed. Hot water boiler for making grits and tea. The grill worked well for out expresso maker we bring, and for eggs on the grits. Easy walk to the slopes. Amazing bathroom! We had a great time!

Robyn greeted us upon arrival of their beautiful home, showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The Moose View was incredibly clean and cozy for the two of us and our dog. The kitchen is very well equipped and we especially appreciated the coffee grinder. The view from the living room is classic Steamboat and the added feature of a fireplace makes it that much more special. Two sinks in the beautiful bathroom with luxury towels was an added bonus. The king size bed was super comfy and having a slider to the fenced in back yard was perfect! The yard was awesome with a covered walkway and beautiful sitting area to enjoy the view. If you are there to ski and why wouldn’t you be?! Getting to the gondola is incredibly easy and extremely convenient! We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Upon leaving I saw Robin, the owner, and shared the following feedback face to face with her. She apologized that we felt this way and wished me luck. I am disappointed that she did not offer any remedy or resolution. We will not return and we do not recommend this property. Upon arrival at 3:30, we found 2+ bushels of prior tenants dirty laundry piled up in the entrance. It remained there during our stay, and we had to walk by it to get to our unit. Upon walking into our unit, we were hit with a foul, locker-room smell mixed with bleach. We opened windows and turned on fans to get relief; they stayed open during our stay despite sub 10 degree temperatures. The paint, sofa, carpets, duvet, bed pillows and towels were all old, worn and dingy. We found hairs on the bed linens and bath towels. We slept on top of towels (brought from home) on top of the duvet and we left the next day after skiing to avoid staying there another night. The trip was my Christmas gift to my boyfriend who loved the ski-in location and enjoyed skiing. We cancelled our dinner reservation and plans to go two-stepping (for the first time) to avoid staying another night; we left immediately after skiing 1 day.

One of my best experiences renting I have ever had. That Includes multiple trips to Steamboat Springs. This place is PERFRCT for a dog and a family of 4. We have a 98lb Swissy, 2 teenagers and we all had plenty of room. The dog amenities outside the suite are the best I have experienced with areas for her to run, meet the other dogs, and poop pickup. Plus it’s fenced in completely. Dog Walks to the base area were perfect as well. I didn’t miss the oven/stove at all (the suite doesn’t have one) so just plan ahead with meals like we did. And support the local restaurants of course. It’s as advertised to ski in/out. Getting to the gondola requires about 200-250 ft of walking, mostly flat or downhill. Getting back to the suite is about 150 ft up some stairs but it was ideal overall. Finally, Robin the host is amazing. We had many travel issues out of everyone’s control and she helped us even when she definitely didn’t need to. She is awesome. We will definitely stay here next year for our annual trip to Steamboat. I would give this 6 stars if I could.

Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable and super dog friendly. Our dogs loved wandering around the fenced in areas while we sat next to the fire pit in the evening! Robin was very welcoming and friendly and it was just a great place to stay.

Robin was the most gracious host to my family. She was there to greet us and even helped me unload the car. She went above and beyond to make our stay and family gathering a great success!

We enjoy staying here every chance we get. From Robin as the host, to dog friendliness, to location, we love it every time.

Great location for peace and quiet. Away from the bustle and very comfortable. Each space is well situated for separateness. (only issue is weed mitigation.... they detract from the elegant building facade)

Amazing location. My Mrs is a clean freak and thought it was immaculate (ok - that almost never happens). The host was incredibly helpful and available for questions. You can't find a better location ... a 5 minute walk to the bottom of the hill. VERY pet friendly = which was important to us. If you want to ask personally - email us @ jkcamc@gmail. Robin’s property was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay in Steamboat and we’re so happy to be able to bring our dog with us. The condo had everything we needed. There is no stove, but we used the grill and had everything we needed. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend. You can also ski-in ski-out with a bit of walking, but it was easy!

Robin the host was amazing. Very helpful and accommodating . The location was perfect for us. The property is set up nicely for dogs.

We had such a nice stay! The property is close to hiking and biking trails. Our golden had a blast in the backyard and we enjoyed the grill, the office and quiet bedrooms. Many thanks!

We had such a great visit to Steamboat and would definitely come stay here again! The host, Robin, greeted us upon arrival to show us around. She was very kind and accommodating. We loved that there were clean pet bowls waiting for the dog and a nice fenced in area as well as bags and a pooper scooper! Highly recommend this place!

We stayed her for a mother/daughter getaway weekend, and we so please with the accommodations. The owner was kind, helpful and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend, and plan to stay again!

From the check-in process until when we left we had a great time. Robyn made check-in easy and wonderful (even took our little puppy to pee when we arrived!) The space had its own entry separate from the rest of the house which was nice. It also had its own patio/gas fireplace/sitting area and grill which we definitely enjoyed and utilized. The place was great location and actually ski in ski out which I didn’t even realize when booking, so we had a nice time walking to the gondola in the mornings. 7 min to downtown, 15 min to fish creek falls. Place itself was very dog friendly even dog bowls and poop bags for him. There were 5 adults but we all fit comfortably with the layout and one separate bedroom. Also, while not a “full” kitchen I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of kitchenware that she had and it was high quality too. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Robyn!

We rented Moose view and Flat Top to accommodate our family of 6. There is not a full kitchen but there are enough appliances and with the grill we ate just fine. Great location comfortable beds. We would definitely come back!

The moose view suite had everything we needed. We didn’t bring the dogs, but it was a very dog friendly property. It was a short walk to the resort to go snowboarding. Would definitely stay again.
