Everything was amazing!

We’ve stayed in many VRBOs and this is the best so far! Amazing location - ON the beach and walking distance to grocery stores, shops and tons of great restaurants. We stayed for a week (no car) - Did a full day of excursions in Buena Vista (highly recommend), sunset Catamara (amazing), rode horses on the beach and up into the jungle (wow!). The town is very safe. People are so kind, food is fresh and delicious. The house was spotless and we had daily housekeeping and pool cleaning. Recommend you bring lots of cash though as some excursions, transportation and vendors don’t take credit cards. We already planning our next trip!

We were 2 families with our adult children. The property was conveniently located and is an easy walk to town, dining and fun activities. The house was clean and well taken care of with a friendly professional staff. Using the recommended chef for in home meal preparation was FANTASTIC! There will be folks on the other side of your secure fence on the public beach. Because there are trees by the fence the space is well used and some ladies do daily set up massage beds right at the path leading from the beach to the house. If having people hanging around just outside your fence is going to bother you, this is not the right property for you. We all had a great time and came home with wonderful memories. We enjoyed our time at Casa Woodbine and would recommend this property.

The home accommodations and closeness to shopping were very convenient. The staff who provided services to the home were professional and very pleasant.

The villa exceeded my expectations!! It was spotless upon check—in, which was quite easy. We were met by an employee who gave us all the needed info. The rooms were all very nice with great bedding and linens. The bathrooms were well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. My only suggestion in the bathrooms would be a hook on the back of door for hanging PJs or a bathroom. The living area was large and had plenty of seating. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only suggestion in the kitchen would be a cookie sheet for heating up our pizza! The water cooler was a nice surprise. It saved buying bottled water. The outside area was cleaned frequently by Elmer. He fought a losing battle against the leaves in the pool. But with the most massive beach I’ve ever seen, who needs a pool?? We asked for 2 extra beach chairs and they were delivered very quickly. Donna arranged golf cart rentals, zip lining, and a catamaran sunset cruise. All were exactly what we needed. She even arranged for someone to come rescue an earring that went down the drain. All communication during and after booking was excellent and every question I had was answered quickly. Special thanks to Beatrix and Donna for responding quickly to all my inquiries. Casa Woodbine was a perfect home for our group of 8 friends.

House was perfect for our needs with a great location to beach as well as having a pool! Big bedrooms with king beds for 6 adults! Our excursions were arranged by property and were great!!! We celebrated our daughter’s 39th birthday with cake and flowers that they also arranged for us!! Chef was fabulous for all our meals of breakfast and dinner!!! Would definitely go back!!!

Perfect house for our three couples. Each with their own master bedroom, and master bath. Great access to a sand bottom beach and the town of Tamarindo

A perfect house in a perfect beach location. A walking distance to town and to restaurants. 2 issues that maybe some people could find as a problem: No Dishwasher and Laundry is 30$ a load ( washing and drying). Since the beach is Public, at holidays, locals would be Picnicking right next to the fence of the house. However, would still love to stay at this property again.

Casa Woodbine is a well maintained beach house in a fabulous location in Playa Langosta. The management company provides excellent concierge support and the maintenance and cleaning staff are outstanding.

NO PRIVACY! This rental has a public access to the beach on the right hand side of the house, cars, motocycles and hundreds of people walking within a few feet of the backyard. People would camp out, barbecue, party from morning until night literally in the yard. We walked the beach and NO OTHER house had people camping on their lawn, we did. My bracelet was stolen the 5th day of our stay, and so it prompted me to turn the house upside down and I realized just how dirty the house was. Behind the beds and side tables were past customers old kleenexes, food, dirt, dead bugs and accumulated dust. I removed a contact lens from the bathroom wall??? None of us wear these. The refrigerator still contained other peoples food. I could go on and on but bottom line not worth the money we paid. We have been visiting CR fir 12 years now, I worry that Tamarindo is simply no longer safe for tourists, on our 4th day my 21 year old son and his girlfriend were threatened by a tweaked out sunglasses/drug vendor right in front of our rental. Very disappointing, we will not be back.:/

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Woodbine. The house is lovely, spacious and clean. The pool is not huge but was perfect for my kids to play around in. The beach is steps away from the house. One side note is that the beach is a public one, so it is not a private beach. We didn't mind at all - we enjoyed the action and excitement - particularly the multitude of firework shows on New Years Eve. The concierge who assisted us, Mariana, was really terrific. She was patient with our constant changes and organized wonderful outings, meals and a spectacular chef who came to cook several meals for us. If I could give this experience 6 stars, I would!

Very comfortable house. As previous review says it is better than the pictures. Perfect spot on the beach, no rocks, all sand. Close to everything. Could not have better beach access. Learn to surf right in front of the house.

We had a great experience. The only hiccup was the onsite communication but that was quickly resolved. I will happily suggest this location to all my friends who go to CR. I would also not hesitate to stay there again. Everyone in our group loved it.

The location was really perfect! directly on the sandy beach, minutes from restaurants and bars, both by beach and the roads. Grocery and conveninet stores nearby. The concierge was so wonderful, she coordinated anything we needed from reservations to excursions. The daily maid service was fabulous and the daily pool cleaning person was so diligent. We had a wonderful time!! House is beautiful! All the amenities you need, 4 bed rooms with full baths plus a bathroom and shower outside by the pool. Beach towels included and washed every day. We will be back!

This was such a pleasant surprise! Contrary to the way it normally works, this house out-did the pictures! And what a great location. Not only was it right on the beach but just a few minute walk into town. We walked down the beach into town all 4 nights we were there. Oh and Mariana, the house manager, was so helpful with pretty much everything we needed. Highly recommend Casa Woodbine!

The home couldn't be more perfectly located on the beach. The host was responsive and the local staff was outstanding. Elmer, the property caretaker was a gem! And our place was cleaned each day by a great staff. So pleased.

We loved the house and the easy access to the beach. Our kids loved the pool and surfing with Carlos. The caretakers were great and helpful with making dinner reservations and recommendations. My only drawback was that there were always people right behind the house (like a park having picnics). Two women set up massage tables daily and it felt a little awkward when they were giving massages while our kids were in the pool, but we didn’t seem to bother them, so we acclimated. Overall, great location for easy access to beach and restaurants and the house has concrete walls so very quiet inside (my husband loved that).

Direct beach access with open views of the ocean, surf and sunsets with easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, which made our experience relaxing and enjoyable. A great way to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday with friends and family. Gracias Casa Woodbine

House was perfect for our group of four couples. Comfortable bedrooms, nice showers and plenty of open space. Patio was large and could accommodate everyone. Kitchen pretty well supplied wit essentials. We did not cook much as restaurants and bars were a short walk down the beach. Staff maintained the house, patio and pool every day,.

Beautiful Home! The only drawbacks are people constantly walking in front yard and no dishwasher. It is the perfect location. Best beach and everything is within walking distance. We did not rent a car.

We had a great experience with this house rental. Two families, seven people in total. Four adults and three teenagers. The location is perfect and the house is great. Every room has its own bathroom. Living room and kitchen area was great. The onsite staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an AMAZING time in Costa Rica and large part because of this house. Besides being super clean, It was the PERFECT location. Literally, steps outside the back gate to a sandy beach. We went with 4 other families and all 4 of the homes they rented were on rocky, unusable beach. We lucked out! Another huge perk was having the house cleaners come every morning to straighten up. One last thing, we all LOVED how warm the pool was! Perfect vacation!

This is the perfect location and a beautiful house just steps from the beach, literally on the sand. We loved every minute of our stay. Jerry was so attentive and helpful. Do not hesitate to book this house, you will not be disappointed!

Very well located

This February was our second stay in Casa Woodbine, we absolutely love it! The location is perfect, we never got in a car once we arrived, everything is within walking distance. The ocean view from the house and pool is breathtaking! We love Elmer and Marjorie, they do a great job of keeping everything neat and beautiful. Marcella and Donna were in constant contact prior to our visit and periodically during the week to see if we needed anything. A week here is pure paradise!

The house was perfect. Location was ideal with the beach right out the back door and great restaurants and shopping a short walk down the beach. We had 6 people, and the setup of the house couldn't have been better -- a great combination of privacy when you want it with inviting indoor and outdoor common areas when you want everyone to be together. We will definitely stay again next.time we are in Tamarindo.

The house is very well situated with plenty of room for a family or group of friends. The location is unbelievable, steps to the beach and a 5 minute walk to town. The manager and staff are attentive, informative, accommodating and pleasant. Looking forward to coming back soon Thanks
