This was our second summer staying at this wonderful beach home. The accommodations are adult and child friendly. The kitchen is well-equipped with cooking utensils and cookware! The living area is spacious and comfortable, dining easily accommodates 8-10 people. The beach is clean and spacious; the setup of the neighborhood affords for great space for all people on the beach and can use tents and shabomi without fear of being told to pack it up. The frozen ice cart comes 1-2 times most every day which is so refreshing on a really hot day and a treat for the children every day. We love this home, the beach, and all that it offers! An extra plus for arrival and departure is the elevator which makes the process much less stressful and decreases strain on the body! Will be coming back next year for sure.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home that had everything we needed! My parents are elderly and the elevator was so helpful! Having the beach directly in the back yard made everything so much easier, especially since we were having family beach pictures taken. It was lovely to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Well-stocked kitchen! We ate at the home each night around the large table that was big enough for our group of 9. This is something my husband appreciated: even with multiple people showering at the same time, there was no loss of water pressure and plenty of hot water! Would love to stay here again.

The property and location were great. Easy to get to, easy 20 yard walk to the beach. The house was clean and up to date. The outdoor showers helped with clean off from sand and salt. We would love to come back.

From our first contact about the property to leaving on our last day, the property owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond. The house was clean and fulfilled everything our family needed. We stayed here 12 years ago and the house is even better now. We hope to return soon!

Enjoyed a great week at topsail while staying at this property. Well stocked house with a great location. Elevator was nice for bringing up supplies/luggage to the 3rd floor.

House was exactly as advertised, very nice and clean. Beach was perfect not crowded and weather was awesome. North Topsail is a special place quiet and no crowds we love it. Communication with owner was on point.

The house was everything pictured and so much more. Perfect lay out. Perfect location. The host was super easy to communicate with. Overall, one of the best vacation homes I have ever rented.

Our 2 weeks stay at Lucky Leaf was wonderful, relaxing, and so much fun. My family and I were there which included two young couples, one with 2 children (8 and 18 months) and another young married couple and 4 older adults ranging from 48 to 75. The home was spacious and equipped for children as well as adults. High chair, pack and play, and plastic dishes were unexpected delights!!! The kitchen was well equipped with nice appliances such as toaster, keurig, utensils including a very nice knife set that worked great for our meal prepping needs. The outdoor grill was very nice and cooked varied seafood wonderfully. If your group is large, the dining table comfortably seats 9-10 people. This trip was the first time that we have been able to all sit at the table and enjoy our meal as a family. The beach was great, and like the house was spacious. The homes around this home are single dwells so the beach was not overcrowded at any time during our stay. The beach area was larger than any other home that we have stayed in previously and this is our tenth year coming to Topsail Beach. There was great storage space for our chairs, etc that was out of the weather and safe. We loved staying in this home so much that we have already booked it again for next summer.

This a fantastic small family gathering for some out of town family and others who have grown up around the island. The cleaning, communication, location and fully stocked home were perfect!

Exceptional experience at Lucky Leaf. The pictures of this home do not do it justice We found this home to be so much more than pictured. Couches, beds and seating were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked all appliances work well The views from either deck were beautiful and times breathtaking. We could not have been closer to the beach unless we were on the dunes. Communication with the owner is wonderful, any questions we had were answered quickly. Do not miss your chance to rent this beautiful beach home. We will return to Lucky Leaf!

This home is gorgeously appointed, exceptionally equipped and accessible for our multi-generational family, and the property amenities were perfect for the current COVID19 climate. The hosts responded quickly to the few issues we encountered and addressed them immediately. We look forward to renting this property again.

10 second walk to the uncrowded beach. Plenty of dolphin sightings. Perfect for what we were wanting.

My girlfriends and I (4 of us with grown children in their early 20s) enjoyed our time at Lucky Leaf in late September. Melissa was great to work with, in constant touch with us regarding questions we had both before and during our visit. We loved each having our own room during COVID times and easy access to the beach. Highly recommend.

The upper deck was perfect for catching spectacular sunrises as well as nightly cocktails. The house location is on a strip of the island that has only a few rows of houses so the beaches were empty. We happened to be there during a hurricane and the owners were great at communicating with us everything we needed to know to keep our family safe and informed. Definitely a great choice for a nice stay on Topsail.

Our stay was great from the moment we walked into the house until we checked out. It was clean, stocked with many amenities and the owner was a breeze to work with. If you are considering a stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

What a wonderful home to rent. The location was ideal. The beach wasn’t crowded at all. The home was beautiful. Just as pictured. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and all our baking needs too. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The bunk room was ideal for the little ones. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Melissa was on top of everything. Quick with responses to questions. We are planning next year’s vacation at Lucky Leaf!!!

What a great long weekend with friends and family! The weather definitely wasn’t ideal, but that didn’t even matter. The views of the ocean coupled with how comfortable and clean this home was were all we needed. The bunk room on the middle level was ideal for all of the kids. Note there are two trundles that pull out from under the full size bunks providing two extra twin sized beds in that room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms were all huge and very clean. The elevator was very handy for unloading and loading all of our belongings...definitely a bonus for anyone who may have trouble with stairs too. The sun deck had ample amount of seating and so did the middle deck. The outdoor shower was ideal for not tracking beach sand into the house. We thought we were going to miss not having a pool, but being steps away from the sand and ocean were better than having a pool. Groceries stores are very close by (3 miles) and though we only went to one restaurant during our stay, there appeared to be several close by options. The kids of course loved pelican snoballs, wings and the giant candy store that were a very short drive away. Just enough in the area to keep us entertained in the rain without it feeling overcrowded or overdeveloped. Last but not least, the owners were absolutely wonderful...very helpful and quick communication even from the time before we booked. We all are definitely looking forward to returning soon with hopefully more sun!!

I would definitly recommend this house! It is exactly how it looks in the pictures and the ocean view is amazing! Also the owners are fabulous! We had a problem with the air conditioning and they had it fixed in no time. They were so nice and kept in touch throughout the process. I felt like I was staying at a friend's house!

A picture says a thousand words and the picture of this rental with the two umbrellas is all you need to know. The inside of the house is perfect for 10 people. The two decks facing the ocean are great. We looked at the stars every night.

We rented the house and our expectations were far exceeded!! They had a tub of sand/beach toys for the kids, a beach umbrella, and fishing poles. The kitchen even had sharp knives (not common in rentals). They had IKEA kids serving dishes and silverware, how great was this! We unfortunately had a lot of rain but we were able to rent some Redbox movies, we played family game, & did a puzzle. We couldn't get over how close we were to the beach and enjoyed our naps on the hammock. We also ate breakfast on the upper deck most mornings (that weren’t raining). Having so many nicely furnished bedrooms made the stay very comfortable. One last thing was the elevator made luggage and groceries a million times easier for us to transport too. The only thing we felt was missing was a vacuum. We would have liked to sweep the floor w/ more than a broom. Otherwise we’d definitely rent here again!

Our family stayed in Lucky Leaf again this July. As before, the home was spotlessly clean, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals, and the beach was clean! The elevator was especially appreciated when time came to move luggage and groceries to the 3rd floor. When we got the inevitable evening thunderstorms, we did jigsaw puzzles, played card and board games, and summer reading. We will definitely return!

Most important: clean; nicely updated and maintained; great running A/Cs and comfortable beds. Three generations of our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Topsail Beach. And what is unique about this location is that there is low density of homes and people around Lucky Leaf. When you spend the day out on the beach, it is very private as there are few families out on the extensive beach. And if you want to get to a grocery store or to the local restaurants, Lucky Leaf is just over 3 miles from the Surf City center. We plan on renting this place again.

The Lucky Leaf was perfect. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Kitchen very well stocked and large DR table. Decks comfortable and steps from the beach.Hope we will be back.

My family had one the best vacations ever at this rental home RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!!! We never needed to plan going places once we arrived because the beach took all our time. The house was very clean and beautiful. While there we witnessed sea turtle eggs hatch 500 yards from our location on the beach. It was awesome!

This was truly our best NC beach vacation to date. The house was incredibly clean and exactly as pictured. Beach access was worth every penny and we did not miss having a pool (which historically we had rented houses with pools). A pool was totally unnecessary with the beach RIGHT THERE! We loved the kitchen and upper level set up. The house was spotless upon arrival and the owners were accessible and a breeze to work with -- we will absolutely stay here again. We enjoyed using the hammock on the lower deck. The house did have a lot of adirondack chairs and two large umbrellas. I do not recall if this was in the listing, but we used those as well as the chairs we rented. Outdoor showers made clean up a breeze. The home itself is very organized so that you can keep it clean and free of sand. The house is not in a particularly crowded area and we loved mostly having the beach all to ourselves. There is a wonderful farmers market down the road and plenty of amenities close by for dinner, groceries, activities. We found 51 (!!!) shark's teeth during our stay. They have some books, puzzles, games and sand toys. Plan to bring skewers for smores which our kids loved. Take time to read the guest book - it's a really sweet tribute to how many people have loved staying at Lucky Leaf. :) Our group had 4 adults and 4 kids - and we cooked every single meal, which made the fridge/freeze VERY packed (almost to the point of unmanageable). So I think go in knowing that for larger groups, you may need to do a mid week grocery store run OR plan to eat out a bit. Truly a second fridge is the only thing that could have improved our stay - it was that perfect. We're already discussing booking for 2018!

We could not have had a more enjoyable week at Lucky Leaf. Our 4 grandchildren (ages 7-14) loved the bunk room and lived on the beach every moment the weather allowed. The house is beautifully appointed and maintained. Our best Topsail stay ever.

The Lucky Leaf continues to be my family's choice for our summer beach get-together. It was very clean, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, fabulous ocean views and accessibility, and owners are very responsive. We hope to stay again next summer!

The property is incredibly well-maintained and very clean. Everything in the house is labeled and instructions are left for every question. The owners are very available and attentive, even texting to remind us of when to put the garbage out! The house feels like a real home, not a beach house. The views are spectacular and the surrounding beach is not crowded at all. It's only about 7 minutes from Surf City for things like groceries and restaurants. The elevator was a HUGE help moving in and out! We've been coming to Topsail Beach for 8 summers in a row, and this was far and away the best experience we've had! Can't wait to go back!!

We vacation at topsail regularly and this house has been our favorite. We've stayed here multiple times with another family and there was plenty of room fort the 10 of us in our combined families. Being right on the beach means that multiple beach sessions per day are the norm rather than an exception and the views are just spectacular! (wake up for sunrise, you won't be disappointed). The house itself was very clean and well laid out. The large bunk room was perfect for kids and the walk-in closets double as nap rooms for the babies. The two showers outside kept the floors inside free from the annoying beachhouse grit. We didn't really use the elevators, but they were nice for the luggage on the first/last day. The owners are really nice and great to communicate with.
