Great location and on arrival the gent that welcomed us was very friendly.
Room 115 was filthy, dust everywhere, hole in the floor, large holes in the double mattress, no remotes for tv and no buttons on the tv so we couldn't use it. Red brick dust all over the window from someone drilling above. Loose light switch. Worst of all, my 8 year old lad walked out of our room in the morning and stepped in a human shit with no shoes on, someone had shit themselves the night before and left it on the landing, sloppy smelly shit everywhere. I rang management to complain as they weren't on site, he told me "I'll send someone to clean it but it's not our fault if someone has shit and we didnt notice". I wasn't happy at all about this but for some reason all I could thing about was someone owed 50 euro for "shitting on floor". I wouldn't stay here again.

For the money it was just what was needed no hassle dated decor but that's not what we were there for, beds were comfy,spot on will use again

Went out to get me gluten free bread and a certain coffee
Didn't understand what gluten free was. Whole place was dirty especially the floors and shower. No tele to watch. Wasn't warned before booking that Maintenance issues had been left for too long

The toilet light kept going off as it’s motion active but when sat on the toilet you’re not always moving so every 5 seconds it kept going off.

Next door! TV on till 5am and then awake at 9ish shouting and, being very loud. Not the owners fault it was just annoying and inconsiderate. Shower wasn't hot but did the job.

There was nothing to like about it .
It was filthy , rooms were disgusting , toilets were horrible , beds were in need of a deep clean , everything was out dated . Would never go back there or recommend it .

Breakfast exellant very good value. Location on bus route and took only 7 minutes with luggage to railway station.
Tv only worked for 1night manager reported to engineer.no chair in room.noisy guests at 0145 after being out in town.

The property was central to things to do in Blackpool.
We stayed in room number 2 and the teens had room 7.
Room number 2 was absolutely filthy with mould in the bathroom and the bed was rock solid. I unfortunately did not get to speak to the manager upon leaving today and it was another member of staff. I was really disappointed due to the good reviews that it had received. I wasn’t expecting an amazing 5 star hotel as it was a budget hotel however it was honestly the worst.
If I had got a chance to speak to the manager I would have addressed my concerns then and there. We left a day early because I had not slept and with my asthma and the mould I was not risking staying any longer than I needed to.

We had paid for breakfast the owner wasn’t aware we came down to eat everything was boarded up no acsess to anywhere apart from front door , the cleanliness was about a 1 , the cleanliness was below 1 , mirrors were that dirty couldn’t see in them , none of us could even use the shower it was that bad , it don’t know how it’s been rated a 8 for cleanliness! A 1 is too generous , my first impression when got there I thought I was in Margate at villabella on the jolly boys outing ! Shocking

The room looked spotless and was nice however once I dropped a earring I saw false eyelashes on the bedside table on bottom shelf. It was easy to miss! Everything else was spotless.

Good location for travelling on train literally round the corner was quiet no inside noise room was decent for what we paid on a budget would return

The location is perfect just a 5 min walk from trainstation and right in town centre. 10 min walk to the tower ect. Perfect the room was spacious and well equiped. And steve is so lovely wich makes the stay even better

Location is great and the host is very welcoming.
We expected just a little more for £75. We normally book along this row or hotels for between £50 and £70 and have been in some beauts. Admittedly we were last minute this time but felt the room and stairs felt a little dated for the price paid. I always feel bad putting a not great review as I understand the difficulties associated with the industry but the place could do with a metaphorical lick of paint inside.

Hotel is very dated and run down. The shower was a pointless exercise as there was barely any water pressure. There was no curtains up in the room and half of the blinds were missing or had fallen down which made the room very light on a morning and gave zero privacy.

We stay here often for the location as it’s near the bars and clubs we enjoy! Also if the price is right! Which this time it was up for an excellent price which matched the room we felt as it was small but cozy. The shower pressure was great which is a bonus and we had clean towels. Tea and coffee facilities too. The host is always very friendly and informative. Coming & going is no issue any time of day or night.
The beds are always rock hard and we have stayed in 3 different rooms now. So we did toss & turn a bit whilst we slept. Backs where sore in the morning this is the only fault we have.
