We enjoyed the location of this property. It is an easy walk to the ocean, and close to great restaurants in Delmar. We loved the heated pool and hot tub as we visited in early November. The condo itself was well equipped and great for our family. The condo was "clean" but it could of used a deep clean. The carpets need work, the area around light switches and corners need cleaning etc.

Location is great - walking distanct to coffee, dining, shopping and easy access right off the 101. Our unit was not on the beach side of the street, so the view was lacking but easy to cross street to the ocean. Great place for a family vacation. Pool was close to the condo, parking was easy, and the location in Solana Beach was perfect! Warren was easy to get a hold of and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The rental was well equipped for our 3 children (0-5) with plenty of space for our family. We drove to various places in and around San Diego every day and enjoyed the stay - I would recommend having a car if staying here. The pools were pleasant and always quiet.

This condo was one block from the beach, restaurants, racetrack/Del Mar Fair/gyms/etc. It was great to have access to multiple pools and beach gear as well. The condo itself is very comfortable for a family of 5 and was well stocked and clean.

This home was spacious and had everything we needed for our young family. We had all the supplies we needed . We enjoyed the heated pool ,pools over looking the ocean and all amenities like sauna and gym. The grounds were safe, and had a cornucopia of flowers that lit up the pathway to our “home”. The ac was life saver. Warren was available every time we had a question. We will be back !!!

Overall the condo was as pictured and was VERY clean but we were extremely disappointed with the location. This complex is located right next to the Del Mar Beach Dog Park. My 2 year old had his snack taken right out of his hand by a large dog the first day & we never went back to it after that. We ended up driving to other beach accesses every day so that we could enjoy our time without being constantly bombarded by dogs. If you’re traveling with little kids I’d highly recommend staying closer to Moonlight beach in Encinitas. We loved that one!

Location, location, location. Convenient to ocean, golf, restaurants and Delmar racetrack!! Condo is very roomy.

This is my first time renting a condo and this was fantastic! Awesome location, spacious, clean and our kids LOVED the pool and the beach! Easy ride to so many fun things to do and a mile from Vons, an amazing grocery store. We totally enjoyed the chairs, boogie boards and umbrella although a few of the boogie boards were broken.

The thing that bugs me the most about this listing is that the photos you see are mainly of the beach club across the street. You have zero oceans views and it is WAY more than “150 steps to the beach”. Parents- if you have small kids, be prepared to haul stuff across the street and down several flights of stairs to get to the beach. The entire property seemed to be under a lot of construction which wasn’t aesthetically pleasing. The pool on our side was very dirty and freezing. Other side across the street was heated and much nicer. A couple pros- nice big master bedroom, nice set up for living room and kitchen, overall very clean. Had to basically beg for toilet paper restock and still never got it. Feel like for the price we paid, we could have had a house that was way more kid friendly.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is in a private compound a short leisure walk from the beach. The owner makes all the beach toys available to the occupants. It was home away from home. My daughter was a little early on her way from Phoenix and the owner was available to answer the phone and gracious to let her check in early. Thank you, Warren

The location made this place acceptable but the property needs more attention to guest experience. The check in and check out instructions were very detailed, though confusing as well. We figured it out after a few attempts. The TV did not work in the Living Room, the appliances were not clean or usable. The sink was clean but "used" sponges were left for us. We purchased new sponges, dishwasher soap and paper towels.The kitchen lacks reusable containers and supplies, so we purchased a few as well.We were told the we could access the gym but the office was closed (it was during the holidays). I was able to communicate with the Maintenance crew to make that happen. The owner didn't.We were requested to wash and dry the towels at check out to prepare for the next guests. Since check out time is 10 am and it would take longer to complete the process, I washed and dried 2 loads the night prior, so there would not be much left for the cleaning crew. We left the final load drying when we departed. I mentioned to property manager and didn't even get a thank you back for doing two loads.Overall not a bad location/ property, but the price would need to be adjusted to match the experience.Thank you.

We took full advantage of the great location to swim, bike, run and kayak. Solana Beach is less crowded than many beaches in the San Diego area which we saw as a big plus during the pandemic. Although many restaurants were closed, we ordered some great takeout (Le Bambou, Himalayan Kitchen, Pizza Port) and cooked at home. We even baked a cake for our sons birthday. The condo had a nice layout with bedrooms upstairs and living/eating downstairs..

Close to the beach. Good pools for the kids. It was clean and well appointed. We had a great week.

We were in the area for work and stayed here for almost two weeks - it is a great condo with plenty of amenities! Very close to the beach, restaurants, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved this property. The pictures that you see are exactly the way this condo is! It is beautiful and very well kept! It is stocked with everything that you need. Anytime I needed to speak with the owner he was amazing and answered any question that I had. It is just a very short walk to the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed the pools and the hot tub. If we ever come back to California this will be our spot again!!

We were very happy with our stay. The condo was spotless, comfortably appointed, the pools were warm and very clean, the location can not be beat. The owner answered questions promptly and the deposit was refunded quickly. My only quibbles are that the complex is very maze-like and the condo could use a few more beach towels. Pro tip: when you first arrive, figure out where it is BEFORE unloading your car, especially if you arrive after dark.

Condo was great with plenty of room for the family. Across the street from fantastic beach. Very well maintained inside and out.

We loved our stay in Solana Beach. This property is within walking distance to Del Mar racetrack, restaurants, and beach. This unit is well maintained, clean and has air conditioning. We were provided clear instructions for checking in and out. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Del mar beach club was wonderful. The instructions to gain access were great but we had a little finding the condo. Adding a map would be a welcome addition. Condo was as represented. We needed the air conditioning the week we stayed as it was unusually warm. Enjoyed the sun setting on the Pacific. Walking down to the beach required going down 4 flights of stairs. But the private beach was worth it. Would recommend to others and stay again if we returned.

Overall we had a great stay at this condo! There was plenty of room for 5 adults and a baby. Just a few things to note: When we got there the AC was broken, but the property manager did get someone there first thing Monday morning to have this fixed. So we were without AC for 2 days, which was a bit disappointing considering this was the main reason we booked this condo. This is not a great condo for babies or little ones just learning to walk. When you first walk in the condo there is a landing, one side leads down to the living room and one side leads down to the kitchen. I felt this would have been beneficial for us to know because we had a one year old who doesn't quite know how to use steps. It would also be nice for the host to have more directions and info about the condo when you get there. For example directions for checking out or letting us know there were beach towels in the downstairs bathroom. We had to get online to look up directions for checking out. It would just make things a bit easier on the guest. As I mentioned, these are not deal breakers by any means, the condo was nice and we had a great stay. These are just some notes and some things I think would make the stay better for other guests.

We had a great stay. The condo is clean, bright and comfortable. The location was great for us as we had plans in both San Diego and in Carlsbad. It cut down on the driving. Its a short walk across the street to the ocean. The pool and hot tub was great for the kids and us. The only think my mum was missing out on was a kettle to boil her water for tea. But she figured something out. We would stay here again for sure.
