We have been renting from April and Jim for 4 or 5 years now and will certainly be back. What great owners, house is perfect, and location couldn’t be better. A New View has everything you need including your own beach access. Best family vacation ever!

This very clean home right on the beach is a perfect place for family time. It is well equipped with everything you need. You will feel at home from the moment you arrive and hate to leave at the end of your stay.

Three generations of our family come here year after year and are never disappointed. April is a perfect host and the house location/amenities are unmatched!

This was one of my favorite beach houses I've ever stayed in. It is very inviting and amazing the moment you first walk in. The owner has thought of everything! The welcome bag is really cool and thoughtful-and packed with stuff!! There are games (for kids up to teens and adults). It is nice to have the linens/towels provided! There are even first aid supplies in one of the bathrooms! It is in a perfect location, on a very quiet street-with beautiful views (and sounds) of the ocean. Yet, close enough to Surf City and Sneads Ferry to go have dinner or do some shopping in some cute little shops! The owner is also really nice-and helpful in checking in/out and reminding you of trash day! I really can't say enough about this vacation rental! We hated to leave-and hope to go back again soon!

What a wonderful beach house A New View is. Very clean, modern and spacious. Love how close to the beach the house is. April is such a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to returning again next year.

Once again, our family enjoyed staying at A New View. This is our second time and plan on returning again next summer. It truly has become our "happy place" at the beach. The view of the beach is fantastic. This is the best view of the ocean you can have without paying oceanfront prices! Our private beach access if directly across the road. The house was spotless and has linens and towels that are plush and soft. I would recommend though, that the downstairs have blackout curtains just as the upstairs already has. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the "goodie bag" that was provided. We truly do love this house! Thanks April and Jim for sharing your home.

This was first time to Topsail and love it. The house is just perfect for families and views are amazing. We had the best time hanging out on the beach and just being together. The hosts are awesome

We enjoyed our stay at A New View. Our 13-year-old black lab did have difficulty with all the steps, but it wouldn't have made a difference anywhere else since most beach homes are up on stilts and have several flights of steps. Also, the staircase over the dune and the path to the staircase from the road could have been cleared a little better. With grass growing through the stairs, it was a tripping hazard. The house was very nice, clean and convenient to downtown Surf City.

We have stayed at this property several years in a row and will keep coming back. The house is awesome and you can’t beat the location. April and Jim are wonderful owners. The perfect place for the family to enjoy the sun and sand and unplug to reconnect with each other. Simply perfect!

Always an enjoyable stay at A New View. Well stocked house with everything you could ever need in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Private access to the beach. Awesome views. Home owner is very receptive. Texting reminders to us about trash and recycle pickups are extremely helpful. Can’t say enough about this house and the owners. We love it!

April's home was absolutely amazing. Loved the surrounding quiet neighborhood, private beach access, and close proximity to many local shops and restaurants. Love the beautiful updates to the home. And I thought the pics online were beautiful too! The home was VERY clean and immediately made you feel at home. She provided you with a "welcome" goodie bag that had little extras inside that immediately put the vacation off to a good start. What really made it special was the extra attention to cleanliness, which also added to the comfort and made us feel right at home! It had everything we wanted and more...plenty of room for our party of 8 adults (18 yr+), family games we played every night, including cornhole! We really enjoyed our week at April’s beach house. Beach access was fantastic and we loved the many outdoor decks and seating options. This was the best stocked vacation rental we’ve stayed at, we enjoyed cornhole under the canopy when it rained and the pet waste station at the door was a nice touch! 10/10

Our family of six; grandparents, parents and two children enjoyed A New View so much. Having unobstructed ocean views directly across from house was breathtaking. The private beach access was directly across the street in front of home. It was so convenient. The beach access also had bench seating as a bonus! The home has been updated since the pictures have been taken for Vrbo. It was a lovely surprise; new paint, new flooring, new kitchen and stainless steel appliances. All beds were comfortable. The king bed did have an extra firm mattress as opposed to the others. Kitchen was well stocked and had many things other rentals don"t have. The home was bright and airy with lots of windows and sliding glass doors for natural light. We all agree, this has become our favorite beach rental and will most definitely return next summer. Thanks April for blocking a week for us next summer! We appreciate all the communication prior and during our stay. The gift bag of goodies was appreciated as well. The view from this home is fantastic and you have your own private walkway to the beach. The home is very clean and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.

We had 6 adults/young adults and our trip was great. There was a very sweet welcome package and many extras to make our stay particularly comfortable. Each bedroom had a great view of the ocean. We love staying in this area and will be back!

The house was very clean and the view was beautiful. Kathy was our local contact person and she was amazing and very attentive. We loved the dining room table which had plenty of room for all 8 of us to enjoy our meal.

April has thought of everything to have a well stocked house in the best location. The kitchen has everything you need, there are thoughtful touches in the welcome bag to make our stay as relaxing as possible. April and Kathy are great with communication and we love visiting this house!

Our stay at A New View was everything we expected and more. We have vacationed in various beach homes for over 30 years and this by far is our favorite. The home was beautiful and spotless. April's attention to the little details (treats for our dog, a bottle of wine, starter supplies so that we didn't have to spend our first day at the grocery....) were very much appreciated. The home was recently renovated with top quality furnishings. We loved to closeness of the beach. Our family is looking forward to returning again next year.

We were so impressed of the house itself . Although we have brought our own personal stuff It has a lot of amenities available for us to use. A very clean house, soft linens, and most importantly a beautiful view. The only thing we didn't enjoy is the wave and the cold water . We didn't get to swim.

This house is perfect. Everything you and your family needs to have an amazing vacation. The host was easily available. The views stunning and the beach and views exceptional. Loved the private deck. Definitely would stay at this house again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the week. This rental was exactly as advertised. Extremely clean, everything in working order, gorgeous view of the ocean and the owner, along with the property manager, were wonderful to deal with. We give this rental 5 stars because they deserve it.

Our stay was great. The views from the deck were a lot better than expected. Our main goal was to be close to or on the beach, this definite hit the mark. Again really enjoyable week, thanks in great part to this house.

This property was top notch. Literally steps to the beach with our very own access. The house was in great condition with all the amenities you could ask for. They did a great job with cleaning prior to our arrival during COVID19. We felt extremely safe. My college age kids surfed, husband caught fish, and mother-in-law enjoyed walking on the beach while I read multiple books. We all got great pictures of sunrise/sunset. We even caught some photos of hurricane Isaias. The hurricane came right in the middle of our trip with heavy rain but mostly 80mph winds. Sand was everywhere. During the storm, April and her sister-in-law, Kathy (the property manager), were always in communication with us and made sure we were safe and had everything we needed. When the storm was over, Kathy came right over and helped clean up the property. This home handled the weather without issue. This family couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Thanks for giving us a great week and we will see you next year for sure. Wish we could stay for 2!!
