Believe what you read! This property is amazing and the host is exceptional. I booked a girls' weekend away, and this property was everything we could want. It was just the right size for the four of us, although I would say the one small bathroom might be too small for two couples. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL. If you are a plant lover, you could spend the whole time trying to identify the hundreds of varieties. The location was so convenient, and the space is very private. Don't let the fact that it is an attached unit sway you. Last but not least, Anne is truly a special host. Kind, funny, informed, and so considerate. . . we just loved meeting her. She stocked the rooms and kitchen with everything we could want. We didn't even make a dent in all the snacks she provided. I am already looking at my calendar and trying to find a time to return. This property is truly a gem.

The property is just beautiful, when we pulled up we were greeted by the kitty, so sweet, then Anne came out and showed us around. The suite is very nice, and had really anything we needed, Anne even had bagels, cream cheese, some snacks all waiting for us in the kitchenette. The weather was so nice we opened all the windows in the front room, and the VIEWS absolutely spectacular! We will definitely check in with Anne anytime we come back to beautiful Santa Barbara. Stunning views and landscaping at this VRBO! Very comfortable for the 3 of us and outstanding hospitality!

The host, Anne, was amazing! So kind and helpful. The home is an ideal location and size for a couple or four friends to hangout just to get away. The view, the waterfall fountain, pool, and hot tub assure you will have peace. The backyard is completely isolated and private from the neighbors. Lots of great restaurants are 5-10 minutes away. Finney's was my favorite. The airport at Santa Barbara is only 20 minutes from the house. I don't think going on to Stearns Wharf was that great but I loved going on the Condor Express whale watching tour. We saw about 10 whales, dozens of dolphins, harbor seals, and sea lions. I would stay there again if I ever head back to Santa Barbara. The only thing I would do differently is bring a little bit warmer clothes if it happens to be in May. Thank you Anne for a great stay!

This is a wonderful option to stay at while in Santa Barbara. The home is located up high with a magnificent view. Close to downtown, the Botanical Gardens, the mission and Stearns Wharf! The grounds are a paradise with a lovely garden, pool and spa. There are even friendly visitors who will come visit if you like . The dogs and cat are an added plus if you are homesick for your pets. The owner is delightful and offered many suggestions for things to do. I highly recommend staying here!

I visited Santa Barbara for work and loved staying at Anne’s place. The views are spectacular, the jacuzzi and pool super clean, and the beds comfortable. Anna, who lives in the main house on the property, checked in with us frequently and provided local tips and recommendations. One bedroom has amazing views of town and ocean, the other includes the coffee/tea maker and bathroom. Meeting the iguanas was definitely a highlight!

Anne is the ultimate hostess. My husband and I stayed eight days and felt as if we were one of the family. Lovely property with sweeping views of colorful Santa Barbara. Easy access to world class restaurants and mountain hiking trails. Tastefully landscaped property with whimsical additions that allow for peace of mind and a space for deep reflection. If traveling with children, there is a beautiful swimming pool to keep them occupied and fun pets with lots of personality. We were visiting from Seattle and had a quick and enjoyable flight into Santa Barbara airport. The time passed so quickly that it seemed like a dream. We highly recommend staying with Anne.

If I could give Anne and her home 10 stars, I would! We stayed in her guest wing for three nights as we explored Santa Barbara for the first time. The biggest challenge for us was that we really just wanted to sit on her patio and enjoy the views, the pool and the peace and quiet of the home so we had to force ourselves to leave! We will be back!!!

We had a fantastic time staying at this property! It was so comfortable and also peaceful - the pool and hot tub were super clean and great to relax in. We also loved the gardens, and the view is amazing!! Really felt like true luxury. Our host, Anne, was also wonderful. Every contact with her, from our first communication through VRBO, was so warm and friendly. She offered us full flexibility on our check-in time and shared additional information about the property and area. When we arrived, she had stocked the kitchen with a wide variety of breakfast foods and also welcomed us with a bottle of bubbly, which we enjoyed in the hot tub. Anne was also helpful with sharing local knowledge, from picking out local restaurants to which beach was the best. We would happily go back and stay with Anne again and again!

In the hills close to central SB (~1.5 mi, 10-15 min drive), a lovely suite with drop-dead gorgeous views of SB and the ocean in the distance. Extremely well-appointed 2 room suite with doors opening to the lovely patio pool and hot tub. Lots of personalized books and info for the SB tourist inside, a reflection of the terrific hosting spirit of the owner. Outstanding stay, highly recommend it!

The town, the pool, the hotub, the garden, the Iguanas, the puppies, and the Host! All just great. An incredible nurturing experience and it was wonderful to sit on the patio and connect with Anne. She has great stories and makes you feel like welcomed back friends.

It was a perfect romantic getaway. The location is great; easy access to restaurants and shopping.

We had a great stay in Anne’s guest suite. She would check on us occasionally to see if we needed anything as well as dropped off some nice free tshirts in our room while we were away. The free snacks and champagne was a super nice gesture and we really appreciated the extra touches. Anne has 2 friendly dogs that would run out to greet us while we were using the outdoor area. We love dogs so this wasn’t an issue for us, but if you don’t like dogs, that might be an issue. There is also a cute cat, Miss Kitty, who is super friendly and will greet you when you leave/arrive. Overall we had a fabulous time and really enjoyed our stay!

A wonderful place, lovely, beautiful and fun garden, and great view. As a ”garden nerd” I loved it! Nice, warm pool and nice little waterfall. We really felt welcomed and well looked after! Our while family loved the place. Well equipped studio so even without a full-scale kitchen we had all we needed. We’d love to come back one day!

Anne was a great host and an amazing person, she have these 2 cutie dogs that are so friendly and adorable, they were entertaining us too.She accommodated all our requests. We just wanted to spend time with our family and friends and Anne gave us that opportunity. She has an amazing property. I would definitely recommend it

Anne is a fantastic host. She gave us so many great recommendations. We did so many things but honestly it was nice to just hang out in the pool or hot tub in the perfect weather. We can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed every minute. We traveled from just south of KC Missouri with our 14 and 17 year old kids. Everything was at least as awesome as Anne described it. We absolutely loved the view, the pool and hot tub. Anne was very helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. We enjoyed visiting with her daily. We did go explore the area but found ourselves drawn back to this property and all it has to offer. The kids enjoyed the iguanas and the beautifully landscaped trail through the property with fruit trees and flowering plants. We coooked breakfast each morning on the patio grill overlooking the marina. We had no idea the weather would be so cool and comfortable this time of year. We did test the air conditioner at Anne's request, but really didn't need it. Our experience could not have been any better. We cant wait to return.

Anne was a wonderful host! The property was clean and close to everything. Anne had a lot of wonderful recommendations for restaurants and things to do. I would definitely recommend her property and would stay there again.

My husband and I were looking for a VRBO outside of downtown Santa Barbara, but close, in a quiet neighborhood with the perfect view to celebrate our elopement. Anne's listing was a perfect fit. She has a lovely suite, with a private entrance, perfect for two to four people, with two beds, an office space, a kitchenette, and amazing views. We were greeted with a bottle of bubbles and snacks after our long drive. There is a very nice hot tub right outside of the suite, and a pool adjoining the main house. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with a million dollar view right down to the ocean. The suite was very clean, comfortable and safe. We will definitely plan another visit, and I will be recommending her VRBO to others. Thank you Anne for making our special trip even more special!

We want to give this memorable 4 night stay a 12 star out if 10 stars! Our stay with Anne was everything we expected and much more. The accommodations were perfect. There are 2 bedrooms and a kitchen area. The location is beautiful. The view from the rooms, pool and jacuzzi are breathtaking . We felt so at home immediately! There were welcome snacks and goodies waiting for our arrival. Utilized the hot tub every day and night. You can not believe how wonderful it is to step outside your bedroom and have this private hot tub within steps with a breathtaking view is. It was a little cool this time of year for the pool, but the pool area is beautiful! Landscaping is so beautiful too! The kitchenette was perfect for breakfast, lunch and a simple dinner if you choose to stay in for the night. There is a BBQ, which we used one night and had a nice glass of wine with dinner on the fabulous deck over looking the sunset. The host, Anne was just lovely and we feel like family now. She is knowledgeable and again, just lovely. Location is close to everything. 5 minutes to beach, State Street shopping/restaurants and really interesting Montecito (where we had an outstanding dinner at Luckys) Neighborhood is awesome for a morning walk. We are now reserved to come back in 4 months! And counting down the days. Please give this wonderful property a look at. You will no be disappointed. Thank you so much, Anne! We are repeat visitors to this fantastic property. Anne is a gracious host and always available if needed but never intrusive. Perfect for couple/small family (due to 1 bathroom). The hardest part is splitting time between the property in the pool/hot tub vs exploring Santa Barbara. You can't miss.

Our five days here were the perfect way to explore Santa Barbara. The hosting was perfect, with an introduction to kumquats fresh from the tree as well as the sights and restaurants of Santa Barbara. The hot tub was a delightful way to end each day, even during the unexpected evening showers. Thank you for sharing this amazing home and allowing us to make friends with Beto and Toby. We hope to return!
