Perfect stay!

Can’t be faulted.

We loved staying at this property, Paul made us feel very welcome from our very first day. He responded to questions very quickly and was very friendly. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and farm like setting. It was close to most of things we wanted to see and if we just wanted to stay in for the day we could lite a small fire and enjoy the quiet. If you are looking for an escape from it all, this is a great place to find your quiet oasis.

Paul's home is warm, welcoming and peaceful. We needed a break from London and felt so rested in this house set in the Peaks. Beautiful walks nearby. Thank you!

We had a lovely few days staying here visiting our son who is at Huddersfield Uni. Lovely scenery and a very cosy cottage!

We stayed for 5 nights and on first impressions the property looks fantastic, really well presented with amazing views across the countryside. There is ample parking for 2 cars and some outside seating where you can enjoy the view, the peace and hopefully,the sunshine. Inside the property matched the outside. Everything is done to a high standard and you feel Paul, the host, has really thought about what guests would need. Everything you could want is there with no superfluous clutter and it makes for a very attractive and comfortable interior. Paul, himself, was a great host. Communication before hand was very good and replied to messages quickly. During our stay, Paul was just as helpful and often around as he lives in the adjoining property. Paul is a really freindly and interesting guy and we all enjoyed our chats with him, always able to provide information about the area, where to go, where to eat, etc, and just chit-chat about life in general. I thoroughly recommend this property and I hope I can return again next time I am in the area.

We had a wonderful 1 week stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with breathtaking views. It is perfectly situated for exploring the local area. Paul was the perfect host, contacting me before we arrived, and when we arrived giving us tips on where to visit. The welcome tray is lovely to arrive to. We definitely hope to return again.

We had such a lovely few days away! The cottage has everything you could possibly need, it’s very clean and the view is stunning 😍 Paul was a very welcoming host. Would definitely return if coming back to the area. Was the perfect location for us to explore the Yorkshire dales!

Had a brilliant stay in the cottage with my wife and 2 young kids. Exceptionally clean and all facilities very modern. Loved the wood burner and great to watch with a wine once the kids are in bed! The views are spectacular and the stress just falls away from you when you sit and look at it. Paul was fantastic to make us all welcome and his attention to detail is brilliant. A welcome tray with lovely bread and Jam with biscuits for the kids, and lovely dress flowers was one of the best welcomes ever. I would love to come back again and would recommend the cottage to anyone 👍👍

Lovely homely place with all that you would need and furnished to a good standard. Beds were comfy too! The views are wonderful and the setting nice and quiet.

Great getaway, lovely accommodation & beautiful views! Two Farm shop cater every meal down the road & some nice pubs within a couple of minutes drive, walks at Langsett & Yorkshire Sculpture Park, shopping at Meadowhall we had a lovely stay!

Perfect location for a relaxing break. Enjoyed a 5 night stay during stormy weather outside, lit the fire every night which was warm and welcoming. Property extremely neat and well kept. Great kitchen utilities. Highly recommended

The host is incredibly welcoming and there were many generous and thoughtful touches on arrival and during our stay. Our only suggestion would be wifi access/stability improvements which was important to us to us as we are no-longer UK-based with local data plans. However, we would very definitely return and recommend to others.

An excellent property with a great location and superb views. Ideal for us to meet up with family that we'd hardly seen during the pandemic. We were impressed with the care Paul and James took to ensure cleaning and 2 day breaks between guests. Small points, but a towel rail and shelving for toiletries etc in the bathroom would be a definite improvement. The WiFi connection is flaky but apparently not much can be done until fibre broadband reaches Hade Edge. Paul was a fine, congenial host, nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Alan & Faye

We loved being at Lawbrook, Paul is amazingly friendly and lovely and was super accommodating. The cottage was immaculate and in a lovely quiet location with awesome views. The beds were so comfy too. We will definitely stay here again when visiting family. Thanks so much Paul. Debs

Extremely attractive, spotlessly cleaned with every aspect of the property obviously carefully planned by the owners. Paul was there to greet us (even though--because of traffic delays--we were nearly two hours late.) He was also ready to help at every stage of our week-long stay. Definitely 5 stars

Cottage was by far the cleanest we have stayed in. Tastefully furnished, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Paul was very helpful and a great host. 10 out of 10 and we would definitely return
