We all had a lovely time staying at Sunset Lodge. Communication with Heidi was always friendly and helpful.
The house is spacious, very well appointed and well looked after, is lovely and clean and the pantry is very well stocked with lots of essentials.
Beautiful gardens and the neighbours are friendly and helpful!
The views are stunning, and with direct access to the beach we cannot wait to stay at Sunset Lodge again in the future!

Lovely getaway
This was a lovely little spot and very quiet at this time of year. We had the beach to ourselves! Kids loved relaxing in the hammocks and watching the sunset, exploring the rock pools etc. The property was very clean and homey with everything you could possibly need for your stay! Loved it

Sunset Lodge a lovely stay in Hardwicke Bay
Great cozy beach front holiday house. Very clean & well looked after. Kitchen well stocked with every thing you need, modern appliances including dishwasher, large fridge, separate freezer in the laundry & washing machine. Fenced large rear yard so enough room for 2 cars & a boat! Lovely front deck with great sea views.

The property is very quaint. It was very quiet and peaceful with full views over the water. The owner has it stocked well with a lot of pantry items and all you possibly need in the kitchen. There was even birthday candles.! It was clean and comfortable.

Quick getaway
This is the fourth time weve stayed at this little gem. Everything you need is there & its so relaxing sitting on the deck watching the changing scenes on the interesting rocky beach & magnificent sunsets.

We really enjoyed our stay in the log cabin. We loved the sunsets with drinks out on the deck. Very comfy and well appointed. Pet friendly - our 2 dogs loved it with short walk to the beach.

Overall very clean. The thing that could be improved is a barrier around the front. Disabled daughter found it hard to sit outside with us. Very scared of the hight

Easy to find and quiet location. Vehicle secured in yard by gates. Lovely little cottage with everything supplied. Will return for another visit for sure 👍👍

Lovely place, everything needed for young family.
Myself, husband, 2 children aged 3-5 and our dog had a lovely stay. The photos do not do this place justice, kids loved the swing on the deck and all the toys supplied inside. Another small family could have happily joined us. The only thing we did not realize which has nothing to do with the property was the beach itself is not exactly a swimming beach or picnic beach and there were was only one general small store open but everything is close enough to drive to if you don’t mind.

What a great property - really comfortable and well appointed. Had everything we needed & was super clean & tidy (even the family room window was squeaky clean so we could enjoy the beautiful view). It was really peaceful. We just loved it & would love to stay again.

Amazing seashore for exploring, but with the urge to sit inside and watch the sea, enjoying the comforts of the luxurious pine cabin, and plan to stay here again and again.

It's called Sunset Lodge for a reason!
Immaculately presented and very comfortable. The views from the property are second to none, with the short walk down to the beach a bonus. It's location allowed us to visit to take day trips to visit other towns on the Yorke Peninsula. A wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing holiday and enjoy the many beautiful sunsets on offer!

E.g. coffee plunger, books, boardgames, cd player etc along with good quality and comfortable bedding and furniture were greatly appreciated. Being able to sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful views made for a very relaxing holiday.
