Easy to access both gulf and bay side. Nice that you did not feel right on top of your neighbor. Loved and really appreciate that is was pet friendly. Our dog had a great time!

Loved the property. It was clean, well appointed and the hot tub was definitely a bonus! Absolutely would stay there again.

What a difference a year makes. Stayed here last year and all was great. This year, outside furniture broken or missing, no bedding for fold out couch, television on deck had no power(broken), hot tub did not work properly and fittings were falling off/missing. Other than that everything else was great. Very nice place, just not like last year

We absolutely loved Paws-awhile. The house is beautiful and has stunning views. The beds and furniture are very comfortable, and the property is clean and well maintained. We can't wait to go back!

We brought our family and our 3 labs with us. House was big enough for all of us and as pictured. We would stay here again.

This was our 1st time to dauphin island. It was so relaxing, not crowded, clean beaces. House was very clean & had everything we needed plus some. Outdoor furniture was different then pics showed but it was fine. Perfect vacation to take your dogs. Bring your groceries cause they are very expensive to get on the island.

Beautiful views of the gulf with bayside access. Awesome set up downstairs for entertaining. Great vacation spot.

The property was clean, well equipped as advertised and in a pleasant and growing neighborhood. Excellent access to the water with a sandy beach and shoreline. Overall, the property provided an excellent venue for a family vacation.

Enjoyed this bay-side home!

We had an issue checking in. We arrived on the island early, so we drove around getting familiar with the area. At 4pm we headed to the house. We arrived a few minutes after 4pm to find the cleaning crew. They didn’t speak English so a representative arrived to speak with us. She was very nice and apologetic. Regardless, we sat and waited at the patio area under the house. This area was a big disappointment. It was nothing like pictured. All the nice furniture was gone. The hanging chairs, large grill, hammock. And lounge chairs were gone. The only furniture was a picnic table, one broken wooden lounge chair, a heavy outdoor lounge chair and matching beach style chair. There was a large grill that was broken and a smaller working grill. We chose this house because of the downstairs area. We felt it would be a perfect area to keep our dog out of the sun while we enjoyed the sun and we’re just steps from the water. Once we were able to enter the house, it was perfect. Very clean and exactly as pictured. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with all necessities. The next disappointment was the hot tub. The location is great. We loved having access to the beach on the bay side. The wind and waves were crazy on the gulf side and our kids loved the quieter bay side.

Fully stocked—utensils, cups, plates, bakeware, bed sheets, extra blankets, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, I could go on. Just bring your clothes and any food you want to cook, and you’ll be good to go. Wonderful location in a non-crowded area. Also, a storm came through and we didn’t have to worry about our car flooding like some people on the west end. During the storm we felt safe and secure and the house didn’t shake like some beach houses I’ve stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing. Dolphins played off the little bayside beach behind the house. We didn’t have a pet with us, but the house was so clean. You would not have known it was pet friendly. The house was clean, well built and well-stocked. The 3rd bedroom would work much better with a queen/king sized bed instead of a bunk bed for kids but otherwise great for 4 adults. Bathrooms were exceptional. Good response when we had questions or concerns.

We have stayed there many times and always enjoyed the house. We did have a few issues this time however. Couple of the TVs weren't working but they fixed right away. We also we're missimg sheets for one of the beds. Everything eas taken care of as we asked them, but it seemed more reactive rather than proactive.
