Super-cool place, set up well for boats. Great communication and super-clean. Decorated like the 70s! Nice place.

The property was exactly as promised. Very clean, all items needed were available. Parking for fishing boats was excellent. Host was very accommodating.

Needed some me time for a couple days and this was the perfect place. Hope to be back someday! Thanks for everything!

We had a wonderful stay in this quaint, retro home! Valerie was very welcoming and communicative, we had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the towels were nice, there were plenty of toiletries to keep you more than comfortable. There is one SmartTV in the main living space and you can utilize your favorite streaming service with your login. We came with our pre-teen children and they said the WIFI was great! There is no dishwasher (I did not realize that upon booking) but I cooked dinner every night we were there and it was zero issue, plenty of dishes, silverware, cups, and hand-washing was not a problem for us. The lot is heavily wooded, serene and peaceful - we saw a lot of wildlife in the yard - yet you are incredibly close to everything you could possibly need from "civilization". We look forward to our next visit!

If you have difficulties with stairs, this is NOT the place for you. I think it would be uncomfortable in any extreme temperature-hot or cold. SUPER friendly hosts. Not as private/isolated as we thought. This is an entire retreat compound and most cabins have views of other cabins but there are secluded places around the property. There’s NO cell service (for Verizon at least) for about a 10-30 mile radius (depending on direction) from the cabin. Also NO GAS STATIONS so gas up. We now know that when our car gets below zero miles left to empty, it then says “refuel” 🤣🤣. We had a lot of fun, just some things to know before you go. We’d love to return and maybe someday have a bunch of people to go with when the rest of the cabins are done and event center is ready. Look forward to keeping in touch with the hosts and following progress!!

My family’s stay at Ms. Valerie’s property was nothing short of amazing! We are repeat guests, and each time we have stayed has been lovely. My parents walked in to fresh fruit on the table, bottled water in the fridge, and a lovely, spacious property where they felt like they were right at home! It’s such a beautiful and vintage home to stay in with adorable nods to the 70s. The property itself is spacious with lots of land to walk around on and two beautiful porches to sit on, one of them being screened in! We will stay here again and again simply because of how lovely Ms. Valerie is!

The decor definitely brought back some childhood memories. We lived the retro look. Very quiet neighborhood. My family has lived in the area for almost 50 years and I had no clue this little hideaway existed. Great communication with the manager and the check out process was very simple! Will definitely consider this again.

I booked this groovy place for the week of Thanksgiving to visit with family nearby. When looking for a place to book, my kids saw the photos of the house and immediately asked to stay! My family and I had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back next year. The host was so kind and accommodating. She had bottled water and fresh fruit waiting for us when we arrived. She also left the outdoor lights on for us as we would be arriving after dark. We truly appreciate everything she did to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved being tucked away and not close to neighbors. We live in the city and getting to experience the fresh air and trees were wonderful! We have stayed at other properties the past few years while visiting family and this by far was the most comfortable and fun. My kids loved the board games and the theme of the house. We look forward to returning!

Such a throwback to our childhood! This property was perfect for our family of five. The outside was so peaceful with plenty of space for the kids to run. And the inside was so homey. The finishing touches on the property were perfect - from the fresh fruit and water waiting for us to the toiletries if we forgot anything. Would stay again!

We absolutely enjoyed Valerie's place. I had a car event to attend and wanted a place somewhat private I could park my vehicle without worrying about it and this was perfect. The home reminds me of my childhood and love the theme. Wish we could have stayed more days but we will be back soon!!

Valerie was excellent in the conversations we had. The accommodations were perfect for the 4 of us to easily access the main roads, 30 mins to Wildwood Park, lots of outdoor space to throw frisbee and putt. Will stay again when we return to the area for events.

The house was well put together and clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for our stay. All communications with Valerie were light and friendly and she recommended many good options for activities while we were there. I will definitely consider this property again in the future!

We were in the area while grandson played basketball at the Nike EYBL. House was perfect for us. Close to restaurants and had easy highway access. We had all amenities you could need and the grounds are kept beautifully. We will definitely stay there again.

Needed a place to stay for the Major League Fishing BFL on Clarks Hill. Valerie was a pleasure to do business with the place was neat and in order I will definitely stay there again.
