It is a beautiful building and has all the makings of a lovely Hotel.

We ordered a king suite as I was with my daughter and son-in-law and grandson. My daughter and son-in-law and grandson slept in the bedroom and I was sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. The bed that I was sleeping on was the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever come across. I rang down and told them that they needed to come and sort it out and put a mattress on the sofa bed it took forever for somebody to actually bother to do something. The bed was truly not sleep-able And I thought to myself this is ridiculous I’m paying over $500 a night for a bed I cannot sleep on. Eventually at 11:30 at night they bother to come and put a slightly better mattress on the bed. I did not expect LUXURY from a pull-out sofa bed but I did expect something that I could actually sleep on. The next thing was The housekeeping of the suite was appalling.We had room service the night before and I spoke to reception before we left the hotel to go out for the day to make sure that they would make up and do the room. When I got back from a full day out all the dirty dishes were still in the suite there was mess around nothing had been properly handled and the room was left dirty. Again I had to complain. There was then a problem with breakfast I had paid on the basis that a continental breakfast was included in the price. The hotel does not do a continental breakfast it is all à la cart and they proceeded to tell me that we could only have $15 for two people and that we would have to pay for anything else. The second morning that we were there the restaurant was really less than half full and with an 18 month old baby we were left for about 25 minutes waiting for a table because they did not Want to overwhelm the kitchen. we asked if we could put an order in at least for my grandson as he was hungry it took over half an hour for sausages and bagel to arrive and when the bagel arrived it was It was not toasted & mouldy. It also arrived in a takeout box.

That I payed for a room to over look the city which was at the back of the hotel and it really wasn’t that big for costly amount.

Nice room. Large enough to be very comfortable. Room was very clean. Felt safe inside the hotel.

Opted not to eat breakfast due to seemingly high pricing ($35 per). Spoke with co-worker who did eat at by George and he stated that his mashed potato's were served cold. This influenced our decision to eat dinner elsewhere. The number of transients in the area made the greenspaces off limits. Didn't feel completely safe walking around the local area, even during daylight hours. Walking at night would be out of the question.

Das Umfeld ist geprägt durch den nahen Woodruff Park mit viel sichtbarer Armut und Obdachlosigkeit. Das Umfeld Downtown ist nicht geeignet für Spaziergängen im Umfeld des Hotels. In Stosszeiten kann es schwierig sein eine Limousine zu bekommen.

The room was impeccable, the building is one of the nicest we’ve seen in Atlanta downtown.

“Breakfast was included” according to the booking, however they give you a breakfast credit, and their breakfast menu is expensive. Meaning your credit will not cover for sufficient breakfast. I did feel robbed. Staff at the reception felt like immigration officers at the airport.
