It was a quiet location, perfect time from downtown. The cabin was nice and cozy. Came with everything if you would forget something! Will definitely stay there again!

The outside was a little dirty, however nothing that would effect the stay.

The best highlight of our trip was to see the bears in such close proximity and we were thrilled to coexist along with them in the nature.

The property is very well maintained and connectivity is very good we could get our work done as well. Overall a very good experience

The location was amazing and the home was absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by trees and nature and perfectly secluded. Just what we were looking for on our vacation. The home design was ideal for our needs. All of the appliances worked great. The A frame cabin is rustic and perfectly decorated to give it a nice atmosphere.

It was a bit difficult to find the driveway entrance as the address sign was covered by brushy overgrowth. There was an issue with ants, but easily taken care of and they were not too much of a bother. The couch and living room furniture had a slightly odd pet smell, and the pull out bed for the couch needs to be updated with a new mattress cover.

The property was close to, yet far away from, the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg.

The door needs a new outside lockbox for the key. We were unable to put the key back in there prior to leaving. Also, the loft bedroom door wouldn’t stay open; it closed fine.

Very nice A-Frame chalet style house located up the hill from Gatlinburg. Its close enough that you can get into town quick, yet far enough away that the hustle and bustle from Gatlinburg did not bother you. Black Bears are located on the mountain, and we had 2 sightings in our 3 day stay which was very cool. The road this chalet is located on is on the far end of Gatlinburg, so you can easily get into Smoky Mountains National Park without having to drive through the city, which is a HUGE plus. Fully stocked kitchen so you can pick up groceries to make meals at home instead of having to eat out every nice which is also very helpful if you are staying for a longer time. That includes pots, pans, glasses and dishes along with a dishwasher. Washer and Dryer are in the Chalet for longer stays. Host was super quick to respond with any questions that we had.

The chalet is a little bit dated, but still very comfortable and cozy. If you are looking for a long term rental that doesn't have all the newest and greatest amenities I would still recommend this place.
