My family gathered at Loggerhead for a week of ocean fun. There were 12 of us, and we found this spacious 7 bedroom home accommodating and comfortable. The beach is expansive and it was not crowded. The house is located at the far end of Arctic Ave. away from the main part of Folly Beach. There was plenty of parking on the property. They supplied many great beach towels and the bath towels were nice and plentiful. The house is showing signs of age, in spite of some updates that have been done. The ice maker in the freezer did not work. The water on the refrigerator door ran so extremely slow we could not use it. There was a counter top ice maker, but we found it so dirty we could not use it. The management company responded quickly and supplied us with bags of ice each day. The toaster only worked on one side. The water in the kitchen sink did not get very hot although the shower temps were great. There were plenty of dishes silverware glassware cooking pans and utensils. The coffee makers and blenders are in need of replacement. The king room on the first floor had air conditioning issues and was hot. Shower drain in Jack and Jill bath did not drain well. I mention these things because the owner needs to know so they can make the needed improvements to this lovely home. We enjoyed our stay at Loggerhead and Folly Beach.

This house was amazing! We had 17 people and it fit us all perfectly. And there were plenty of places for people to be alone if they wanted. We loved this house and you will too!

Beautiful house. Very spacious. Well equipped.

We had three generations, 12 people from age two to 64. This home was perfect for our family, and could have easily held a larger group. The two living areas, ample beds & baths, and large kitchen all provided plenty of room to gather together—or have time apart (when some needed to nap). Comfy beds, nice linens, plenty of towels, excellent kitchen… ‘Highly recommend!

The Loggerhead was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 5 children under the age of 7. There were ample bedrooms and bathrooms, and the separate living space was great. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the furnishings and decor were high quality. The linens and supplies were ample and very nice. The beach was perfect, with lots of play space even at high tide. A few improvements would be an ice maker in the downstairs bar area and better cleaning under furniture, along baseboards, shower grout and kitchen sink.

I can’t say enough about this beautiful vacation home. From the layout of the home, the views of the ocean to the decor, it was perfect. We brought our entire family to help us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The weather wasn’t great but we all agreed that it didn’t matter because the house was so great! Plenty of room for all of us including a 10 month old! The rental agency responded quickly to a couple of glitches and could not have been better to work with. This house is a perfect 10!

Person 1: I thought the house was spectacular. Some more clear instructions about the elevator on entry would be useful, but beyond that an excellent stay. Person 2: If I were to add anything, maybe just a sheet that clarifies (in trash bags or not etc) about trash and recycling-and what the management company will already do vs what guests should do. Person 3: House was fantastic! Everything worked well and was better than the pics! Suggest updating the wifi info in the folder. We couldn't get on for a day! Person 4: Add a few toilet brushes?! Overall, the group loved the layout/floor plan of the house: it provided great common areas, private areas and bathrooms, great balconies. The kitchen was well stocked to have dinners for large groups. Loved the two ovens and dishwashers! The house was perhaps not spotless--refrigerator door had smears, sinks were not fully cleaned, etc. We felt compelled to wipe everything down with Lysol before we used anything (should not have to do that at these prices). Just a note to share with owners: there were quite a few people who tried to park in the driveway and get to the beach. (There is a beach access path next to the house). Also, they came into the first floor and felt free to use the shower, even when our cars were there. Thought owners should know this.

Our family of 10 had lots of space in this well-designed house for both spreading out and spending time together enjoying life at the beach. We hope to come back!

Perfect location! Overall a good rating from us. Stove was not usable at all at the first attempt to make dinner. Burners wouldn’t light. Serviced next day and 3 out of 5 usable. Serviced again on Friday and all burners worked though we weren’t cooking anymore. Some fleas were noticed. Elevator very helpful. Location made up for issues mentioned.

Amazing property and set-up on Folly Beach. Love this place - it is our second time here. Floors could have been cleaned better and kitchen stuff needs to be reorganized.

This is my second time staying at this property. Every room is a nice size and have their own bathroom. The kitchen is big its great for entertaining. Each room has its own decor that ties into the beach..

What a magical week in Folly! The house was gorgeous, the beach was beautiful and the location was perfect!

This was the perfect house for a weekend getaway with a large group. We loved being right on the beach and being in close proximity to downtown. It is very difficulty getting ride shares from this particular area but we scheduled out Lyfts ahead of time and had no problem. The house was clean and stocked with plenty of beach and bath towels. I would highly recommend staying here.

Overall the home was beautiful and offered a 5 star feel. The maintenance company is not keeping the place up as well as it probably should be. Some details all around the house were becoming obviously worn or broken.

We hosted out of town family for a wedding and this house was spectacular!

The house was very nice and accommodating us very well. The only complaint was there was only one kitchen towel, no pot holders and no dish rags. The trim around a couple of the throw rugs was a trip hazard and they should be replaced. The raised fan for the stove needs a cleaning.
