Very spacious

Toilet took over an hour to fill up in order to flush. Lots of mould around the shower base. Paint peeling off ceiling in bathroom. Stains on wall next to bed where something have been spilt by someone previous to our booking. Although the bedding was clean it had a strange odour to it.

The rooms were fantastic, very clean, wanted to stay longer than the 1 night we had booked. Our view from our window was a field, so very peaceful.. easy drive into town for our meal. Host was in easy contact no issue there.

Location was a little out of town but with a car it was perfect

We did not eat the instant oatmeal. We loved the view, the size, and the amenities including a small kitchen table and chairs, small fridge, microwave, desk and chair, leather love seat, ample closet space, and large bathroom with shower and tub. I know the owners know this already, but I was a little concerned about the water damage from the shower onto the wooden floors since the shower door did not close properly. All in all, this was our favorite place to stay in the Highlands.

We didn't get there until almost dark and the directions given to us were a little bit unclear especially since we had never been in that particular neighborhood and we had only spent a day trip in Fort William in 2018 so finding the place was tricky. We had difficulty locating the lockbox. And I thought I had asked for a first-floor room because my husband is disabled and we ended up climbing stairs which was difficult for him.

Uncomfortable and got bitten by bed bugs

Having a private room was nice, nice view outside Beware of bed bugs!

The room had bed bugs, the shower and never got hot, the bed is ridiculously uncomfortable, it's far away from town, and the owner/staff never responded to any of my messages. I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone, I didn't have a car so used a taxi to get here late at night The directions are horrible and not even where the house is located. You have to turn down a mini road left before you hit the street because I was knocking on a stranger's door for a good 6 minutes. Based on my experience, if you decide to stay, confirm the host has fumigated the room. Cleaning it only will not get rid of bed bugs.
