I have stayed at many VRBO units over the years. I do a lot of research before I make my final selection. I have rarely been disappointed and usually my choices are all close to a perfect match. This trip was a multifamily school vacation trip with 4 young children. We used the credit to get bikes. It was a short walk to the ocean. The kids rode to the beach and ON the beach all day. The kitchen was big enough for several adults to cook. All the utensils were there. Read the reviews. It always amazes me when reviewers complain about chipped plates. For those of you who cannot use a chipped dish bring paper plates. What can be more perfect then to get up, have a cup of coffee as the sun comes up and then walk to the beach? We love Jolly Beach and Charleston. Everyone wants to go back.

The house was very clean and the front steps offered an amazing photo backdrop. Lots of room and we loved playing air hockey in the gameroom. My only complaint is that there were only like 2 channels we could watch on tv.

The house was fine but it rained for 2 days during the Christmas break and the streets flooded near the house. This made it difficult to walk to the beach. Folly Beach really needs to address drainage and street flooding. I’m not sure we will be returning to Folly Beach because of this problem.

The house was very nice —had ample room for all our guests. Both porches were utilized every day and we appreciated having the large outdoor shower and area underneath the house. Very short walking distant to the beach and loved the proximity to the downtown area of Folly. Loved we were given the beach rental credit to use —our girls loved riding the bikes to the beach and into town. The weather was perfect too!

Very large. Great areas to rest and large kitchen.

Great location. Kitchen huge. Lots of seating. Loved the activity room, puzzles and games. Some of the beds hard and master bath extremely cold in the winter. Wonderful place to stay to regroup with family and friends!

We had 10 people (4 parents, 6 teens). Check in was easy. Everything in the home is as in the pictures. The decor was nice with the crown molding and high ceilings, spacious, & we really enjoyed the concrete slab under the house & outdoor shower. The house has 2 fridges in the kitchen & ice trays in the main fridge. There is an over abundance of cover filters & salt and pepper. There was a starter set of dish and dishwasher soap and bars of soap in the bathrooms. The house had some books and games as well. We did use the $250 beach gear credit & rented 6 chairs, an umbrella, and 2 bikes. The couch needs to be replaced. It has a short back and deep seat cushions making it hard to be comfortable. We did have some minor annoyances that required communication from the property manager. The grass in the front was very long up to our ankles. We were intending to play yard games there. I let the property manager know & it didn’t get cut until Fri of our stay. When we rent houses, we look for homes that have air hockey tables, etc. Upon our arrival, the air for the air hockey table was not blowing forcefully to play the game. Also looking at the foosball table, the members in our group noted the bars were installed incorrectly. Unfortunately, we were unable to use these features. I did text the property manager & they said they told the owners, but it would not be taken care of during our stay. This needs to be noted in the listing for future renters. We also noted that there were only 4 regular size (not soup) spoons. I texted the property manager and they dropped off more soup spoons and not the smaller ones. They didn't reply when I shared pictures of this. The bed frames were installed incorrectly & we kept bumping our shins on the plate that connects to a headboard. The property manager replied to my text and they changed all the bed frames. The last thing we noticed on Wed of our stay was the water building up on the glass shelves of the main fridge. We kept noticing water but this time we saw it dripping. Again I texted the property manager with pictures on Wed & never heard back from them. Up until this point they had been responsive via text. The molding and doors need paint touch ups & laminate on cabinet doors is peeling. This town does not have sidewalks outside of downtown. It's busy on weekends with delays getting over bridge but quite otherwise weekdays . You have to walk in the street for beach but is 5 min walk

The house was close to the beach and quietly set back from the traffic. We had a wonderful beach week with family.

Overall we enjoyed out vacation to Folly Bach/Charleston. The best feature of the house we stayed in was the easy walking access to the beach. The house itself was a little dirty (feet and socks turning brown in minutes) and we had a couple of issues when we were staying that were not addressed by the rental company at all after multiple calls and an email. The smoke detector kept fully going off with no explanation and the ice maker was broken. We tried multiple times to report the issues and were assured that someone would come take a look at them and no one ever got in touch with us or checked on these items. Having a loud alarm go off especially at night was very annoying. Plus most of the beds at the house were absolute garbage, they should have been replaced years ago. It really impacts your ability to relax on a vacation when you can't sleep for an entire week due to the horrible beds (this was the case for people staying in 3 of the 5 rooms including the master bed). We will not be staying in this house again or renting a property with the same company.

We had an amazing the Palms II! The house was big and the location was perfect for beach days at Folly Beach, just a short walk away. The house was a little hot when we arrived, but quickly cooled down when we arrived.

We were so excited to have our full family (11 people total, 3 families) get together for the first time since prepandemic. The house was not in the condition we expected from the pictures. This is a full time rental with little to no time to allow for cleaning, maintenance, etc. The location to the beach was great, we loved the open main room, second fridge in the kitchen and tables on the porch. The rental company we as very responsive to our concerns and did additional cleaning and called for a pest control service. We enjoyed the family time but will rent elsewhere in the future.

We had this property for a bachelorette party group. They allowed us to check in early in order to decorate. Everything was clean and perfect for our group! Short distance to the beach and main part of folly beach.

The only issue was ice maker was broken and TV would not work

If you don't need to be right on the beach, this house is great. Beautifully furnished, nicely laid out, well stocked kitchen w/great appliances & well insulated for noise control. Carolina One staff was wonderful to handle a couple of glitches 4 us. But if you have people over age 70, or not in the best of health there are a LOT of steps to get into the house & to get upstairs. Will definitely consider coming back.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Folly Beach. The house was plenty big enough for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the game room upstairs and we had porch time at least once a day. The only issues we had were a shower door that was fixed by maintenance (thank you) and the upstairs air condition went out. This made for a very hot upstairs for a short time, but this was fixed and the air was restored. (Thank you!)

I must say the pictures did no justice. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the home. It was spacious, clean and had plenty of parking in the rear. I ordered beach chairs with the credit and they were already there when I arrived. Also that downstairs area was amazing. we had steamed crabs and with the picnic table under the house it made for a great outside eating station. Two thumbs up!

We enjoyed our week in your lovely Folly Beach home. Plenty of room for our family of 7 adults and 3 small grandchildren. The upstairs rec room was a great place for the littles to play while the adults could congregate downstairs. Short walk to the beach. This area of Folly Beach is very family oriented and less crowded. Kitchen had everything we needed. Property manager was very responsive when we needed something minor. We highly recommend this property for families.

This is a beautiful house! Large and spacious central room for plenty of family and friends getting together. Great for activity areas upstairs and downstairs (under the house) for younger kids to play. Lots of table and chair seating for large family meals together. Private outside shower under the house is very convenient. We have a large family reunion here every year and this house has facilitated our great times together and memories.

Family and I stayed at Palms 2 for a family reunion and had a great time. Kitchen is one of few that is spacious and fully functional, the little ones enjoyed the game room upstairs. The under house area and decks are great for time outdoors, lots of yard space for playing and parking, we used the grill and outdoor furniture daily. Tha outdoor shower area is great for rinsing off after time on the sand and cleaning up all your beach stuff, keeping sand out of our car. We all love the house and love Folly Beach. Memories will last forever, definately recommend.

Enjoyment for a large family is inevitable! Just steps from the ocean! Always look forward to a fabulous stay in this roomy residence!!!!

We had a great time at Palms II on Folly Beach! The house was very spacious and had great entertaining areas for our multi-generational family. The outdoor living space was popular with gas grill. Quick walk to the beach and bike ride to center of town. We will be back!

Perfect spot for family vacation or girls get away. House is clean and has everything you need. Close to restaurants and walking distance to beach. We plan on staying again. I would recommend this place for families and friends. Great place to gather!

The home's location in Folly beach was great, plenty of room for our family of 6 and it was close to a lot of the places we wanted to visit but unfortunately the rental company did not live up to their end of the bargain. I have stayed in many lovely homes/condos etc. over the years and was always pleased with the property owners/rental companies being thoughtful and generous with their ability to provide for our stay. This company should preface every one of their property rentals with the information that the renter is responsible for all the necessities to stay there up front re: the lack of necessities like toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), cleaning supplies (2 rolls of paper towels), trash liners (2), dishwasher detergent (2). We had 6 in our party and had booked the property for 7 days, for what we paid I think all the above should have been provided. The bedding needs to be replaced, the living room furniture is dated and worn. The shower curtains in the upstairs showers were moldy and need to be replaced. We had to call the property company when we discovered that the lock on the front door was malfunctioning and allowed anyone to enter the property without a code while we were gone. The grill, which we did not use, was rusty and the front of it fell off during a rainstorm. Overall, this property could be great but it needs to be updated and day to day necessities need to be provided to make this a place to stay for vacation.

We were pleased with the rental experience, liked the location to the beach. plenty of room, but two things that need updating. 1. Dated appliances, all appliances need to updated and they need a much larger refrigerator for the size of the house. 2. The beds were very hard if you like that in a mattress. had a great time
