Great location and access to the beach. Even during the busiest part of the summer, didn’t have to fight for a spot on the beach. The property is tucked away and private. Could use a little updating but overall pretty good experience.

Great location. Bike to Coligny plaza. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. Responsive owner. Well supplied kitchen. Read instructions for TV channels and streaming access to avoid frustration. Clean interior. Outside furnishings needed cleaning - covered with leaves and pollen but maybe an unfair criticism given time of year but would be nice if at least cleaned on arrival. Would definitely stay again.

We all enjoyed the location and the home. It was very well equipped - more like being at home. There was a nice private yard and we had a dear visiting almost every day! The beach was not far away and so lovely! Almost seemed kind of private. Not very busy and that wonderful HHI even sand was good for walking, biking, suntanning and dolphin watching. Also very nice people. We had a wee cavichon doggy with us and he made friends with many people and several other dogs. Beds were comfotable and clean as were bathrooms. Not sure there were guests the week before us as the air seemed a bit stale but we opened the windows and settled in very nicely. Lots of books there,many sitting areas inside and out, a good bbq and time for puzzles, etc. we are very happy to recommend.

We were very pleased by the property's proximity to beautiful N. Forest Beach-6 minute walk to warm waters, white sand and away from all the crowds!The home provided the amenities needed to relax and cook a meal if you decided not to venture out to the multitude of restaurants and entertainment venues so close by-Coligny Park was a lot of fun and Hilton Head is a beautiful island. We loved spending time in the Carolina Room, where we had our morning coffee and read the paper, which was delivered each morning. The landscaping was very tropical but could have been a little more tidy. Overall, a nice experience, Thank you!

Easy location to the beach.

Love the location, short easy walk to the beach. Comfortable accommodations inside home. Close to stores yet in a private area and quiet neighborhood.

We loved the location and privacy of the home. It served our needs well! It was very quiet and peaceful here. Beds were very comfortable. The beach was a very short walk away and it was not crowded at all. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

Very nice close to the beach property. Very quiet neighborhood and comfortable house. The HVAC system is away from the house behind a wall so it is very quiet at night. The Carolina Room along with living & dining area very comfortable to gather, watch TV, play cards, etc. Daily paper delivery is a plus. The owner’s communication was excellent and very receptive. Heated outside shower wonderful to rinse salt water or sand off. Beach access just 3 minute walk to end of road and bike path also. Can bike 0.9 mi to grocery store. Lots of bird wildlife visiting the back patio/lawn. Really good enjoyed our stay!

The house was perfect for what we were looking for. Cozy and has a great sunroom that you can slide the windows open. We enjoy nature, so it was wonderful to just sit and listen. It's tucked away from any noise other than nature and children enjoying a nearby pool (which we enjoyed). Very close the the bike path and beach as well as Coligny Plaza. Just a great location.!

Very close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Very nice for a “Girls Trip”. It was a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay, it was very clean and open. It is a short walk to the beach and great for walking dogs. The backyard is great even though we didn’t use it as much . We would definitely stay there again.

Location of house was great and in a quiet neighborhood. Management was prompt with our problems with gas grill. Easy check in process and house was clean. House is very shaded and limited natural lighting through out the house and artificial lighting needs to improve. The appliances were good, but would appreciate organizing kitchen cook ware. Difficulty finding pots and pans with appropriate lids. Never found a measuring cup. 2nd bathroom shower stall is quite small. The Carolina room looked great, but the weather was too cold to appreciate.

This property was great. Clean, cozy, plenty of room and quiet. I can not complain about nothing except it wasn't long enough time. You want be sorry if you rent this house.

The home was clean and the location was great! We loved the Carolina room to protect from the mosquitoes in the beautiful backyard space.

The location to beach access was great but house and landscaping need a lot up updating. House was very old and outdated inside with old appliances and decorating needs a major refresh. Yard is extremely overgrown which causes a ton of bugs and mosquitos. Could not enjoy the backyard or the morning room because of the bugs and yard being so overgrown. WiFi was hit or miss all week and TV in large bedroom didn’t work. Overhead lights were out too so room was very dark all the time. Very disappointed with the overall maintenance of yard and style of the house.

The house is nice and comfortable and great for a family. The only complaint is the landscaping is a mosquito breeding ground you cant go from the house to car without being attacked by them and heaven forbid you go out back in the yard. Have the yard fogged and it would be a great hangout area.

We were very happy with our rental in North Forest Beach. The property was exactly as described, and was reasonably close to the beach (~7 minute walk), with a beach-access path right across the street. The Carolina room was enjoyable and was where we spent a great deal of time when not at the beach. There's a great outdoor space as well, including a small fireplace. We were also very happy with the management company, which was very responsive to every inquiry along the way from the time we rented through our entire stay.

We had a person in our party with mobility issues and she was able to navigate the house well. The proximity to the beach access was perfect and I loved being on the cul-de-sac. When we return, we will definitely consider this property again.

The property was “well loved”. The property details states there is a queen sofa bed~ there is not! My daughter, granddaughter and son had to share the room with two single beds. I found an old crib in a closet and used the mattress on the floor for our 4 yr. old granddaughter. It worked out but it was inconvenient. Most of the plumbing in the house is backwards ~ didn’t take long to figure that out. The hallway bathroom is quite small ~ especially the shower. Good for kids. The house overall was comfortable and you can’t beat the location. We had our 89 yr old mother with us and she was able to walk to the beach. she loved the master bedroom and lanai where she spent time reading. There is a tv out there but we never found that remote. We wouldn’t have used it anyway. The bedroom with the double bed was comfortable. The house was equipped with everything you could need~ just could use a good deep cleaning of the kitchen and hallway bathroom floors. And the carpet under the dining table had lots of stains. So, overall, for the price and location I gave it a 4 star. The house has a lot of potential and booking the property was easy. I would book again with less people. We had 5 adults and 1 child.

Overall, a great stay. Needs a bit of updating... could use mirrors in the bedrooms. Location was perfect! And it was very clean.

House is a little dated, but clean, roomy, and only two blocks from the beach. Backyard is really private and full of beautiful foliage. Back sun room was bright and a perfect gathering place for the entire family.

The backyard was unique with a small man made water feature. There were a lot of birds to enjoy. The kitchen is a small interior kitchen and really only works to have one person at a time in the kitchen. The “Carolina room” was very enjoyable. Screened in and felt close to nature. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We couldn’t get any of the TVs to work and couldn’t find the instructions. The owner sent someone over to help and got it fixed.

But more loathsome than the house itself, is the treatment and false accusations made by the Property Manager. This women has no business renting property and her dishonest mismanagement will turn your plans for a peaceful, relaxing vacation into a nightmare. Save yourself the headache, DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY

We enjoyed our week long stay - this was the second year we stayed at this property. Our favorite thing about this property is the location - it is close to everything we like about Hilton Head. It is a short walk to the beach less than 5 minutes which we love. The property is dog friendly and in a quiet neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Home was clean, comfy and had everything we needed to help make it a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Manager is very responsive with great communication. Overall, had a lovely time!

We enjoyed our stay for July 4th week. Ages ranged from 85-12. Teens loved close proximity to beach and Coligny shops. Enjoyed walking our dog on beach (before 10 am and after 5 pm). The home is comfortable, with a very nice living/dining area, but other rooms need some updating. Carolina room has no central air (only an oscillating fan) so can get warm on hot summer days. Beds very comfortable, but one bathroom very small with phonebooth-size shower. Bikes older so we rented our own. Overall, a nice experience and we enjoyed our first trip to Hilton Head!

We loved the location...beach was close enough, but yet the house was secluded & it was a short bike ride to Coligny Plaza (shopping & restaurants). We had 7 adults, the house was plenty spacious enough and we all loved the Carolina (sun) room. Only minor complaint would be that the kitchen is kind of small ... but who wants to spend time in the kitchen when you can go to the beach! Definitely a place I would consider if we ever go back.
