This was the best VRBO I've ever booked or stayed in with others. It is sooo cute! The location is amazing (right by the beach and Convivo - an awesome restaurant). It was very clean and had everything we needed. It provided the perfect place for a group of middle-aged women to reconnect and have a lovely get-a-way. I want to come back to this VRBO with my family!

Great location - walking distance to beach, restaurants, and funk zone. Clean home, nicely decorated, and driveway parking. Great place to stay!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everything was perfect with some special touches to welcome us. First time I have rented a Vrbo that had fresh flowers on the table! Location was also perfect for us.

This amazing house so close to east beach was exactly what our family needed as a time to connect. Close to bike rentals and bike path to Butterfly Beach as well as good restaurants. The house was very clean and comfortable tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.

This is our second time to stay at this property. The location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes away is a little grocery store that has everything you need. And every evening a taco truck is parked there. The cottage is so cute, spotless and is well equipped. We love sitting on the front patio enjoying drinks and a meal. The street is so quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to end a busy day. We are already planning our next Santa Barbara get away at Costa Vida Cottage.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this property. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We loved having our wine in the evenings on the cute patio. I Would highly recommend this property:)

Short term rental was never easier perfectly suited for accessing every site that local Santa Barbara offers. We walked to the beach, the pier, shops, night life, the zoo and great restaurants. The cottage was charming, spacious, and perfectly clean. We loved our evening glasses of wine on the patio, the incredibly comfortable beds, the driveway parking, the quiet and ever so friendly neighbors and community. We had no issues, and found all prior and posted instructions clear. We will be retuning and recommending the home to friends and family!

This was a perfect place. It had everything we needed and more. It is well decorated, clean, close to the beach, & very comfortable. The kitchen is perfect you could cook a full meal there with no problems. There is a BBQ and table for outside eating and beach equipment. We will be back. PERFECTION

Excellent central location for Santa Barbara. Easy to get to. Easy to get out. Spacious living room and perfectly accessorized little kitchen. The place had everything we needed. Very pleased. Always felt completely safe. Great little grocery right around the corner. A lot of nice little touches to set it apart as well. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous experience at this charming and cozy cottage! The beds are comfortable, the living room is spacious, and the kitchen is well-stocked. The special amenities were a lovely touch. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, and it seemed that everything we wanted to do was within an easy/short drive. We’d recommend this cottage to our friends, and we even talked about returning ourselves.

Good: The place looked exactly like the photos. From a hosting perspective, everything was executed extremely well. And it was the cleanest short term rental I've ever stayed at in terms of dirt, dust, stains, etc. The furniture was very nice and comfortable, including really nice bedding/mattresses. The place had every possible thing you could need and then some. Bad: Random ants would show up in the kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathroom and get on/in our stuff. The house has a strong "old house" odor throughout, but we got used to it quickly. My wife slept with the baby in the back room and I slept with my other kid in the carpeted room. That room has a strong mildew odor that I initially attributed to the "old house" smell, but once I laid down, I realized it was much stronger. It's more noticeable when laying in bed because it seems to be coming from the floor/carpet. The first night I got into bed before 10 PM and couldn't sleep due to the odor. Finally, around 1:00 AM, I gave up and opened the window (it was 45F outside). It helped with the odor, but then there was an owl hooting all night. I finally fell asleep around 3AM and had to be up before 7 with the kids. This was our only full day in town and it was rough. The second night, I opened the window before bed and it helped again, but between the train horns, hooting owl(s), cars and people passing by, and the cold, I didn't get much sleep. I'm happy to be home.

Wonderful cozy cottage in an incredible location! Our kids loved being so close to the beach, so close to the zoo, so close to public transit to downtown Santa Barbara. You can’t beat this location, and we appreciated all the thoughtful gestures like holiday decorations, Prosecco bottle, fresh flowers, and ground coffee. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The property was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. It had a really cozy feeling, and we enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving there with family. It was within easy walking distance to the beach and walking paths.

What a comfortable convenient place to stay. I will be back for Sure!

I will start by saying that this was one of the best Vrbo stays I have ever booked. The house itself was very cute and clean, and we felt very at home during our stay. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating, allowing us to host a couple of extra family members that we hadn't seen in years for a dinner on one of the nights we were there. The cottage was well equipped for all of our cooking needs, and the proximity to the beach was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

Lee was a great host and was very responsive . This home was literally a 5 min walk to beach, 10 to the Pier. It was very cute, had very comfortable bed, well stocked and very clean Would stay again

The house was super cute and well appointed. The beds were super comfy and had the best sleep I’ve had in a while. The only thing to note is that the bed room in the back does not have a closet, so everything we had for our event that needed to be hung went into the second bedroom near the kitchen. It worked out, but a free standing hanger rack in that back room would be clutch.

The cottage was cozy and had ample supply of towels, kitchen appliances, and everything you would need for a comfortable stay! The interior design of the cottage was cute and made us feel very relaxed.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Santa Barbara, due in large part to our charming accommodations. Staying in an entire little house is so much better than a hotel room! The location of the cottage is perfect. The street is quiet with plenty of parking, and it's an easy two block walk to the beach. For those interested in eating out, Convivo Restaurant in the Santa Barbara Inn is right around the corner. The owner, who definitely has an eye for detail, has thoughtfully provided snacks, coffee, treats, and even a lovely bottle of Prosecco to enjoy in comfortable, tastefully decorated surroundings. An easy drive from the Pasadena area, this will definitely be our "home away from home" in future trips to Santa Barbara.

This property provides a semi-luxurious experience in a cottage setting. The property is decorated in a quaint, cushy style with his and her plush bath robes, Danish ceramic dishes, and fresh flowers on dining room table. The living experience extends to the outside porch with a rustic high top table setting area tucked into a beautiful vined terrace. A five minute walk to the beach rounds out a delightful experience.

We had a wonderful stay, the property is beautiful and the location is great. The name of the of street says it all, Orilla del Mar is literally translated as next to the sea. We can tell the attention to detail inside to make us comfortable was on point. Thanks Lee

An absolutely exquisite property that was a dream to live in. Immaculate condition with every detail thoughtfully planned out with amenities galore! Not to mention the amazing location just steps from the beach. The private driveway was an extra bonus that few properties offer. If you are lucky enough to grab a reservation, you will have a vacation of a lifetime!
