Outstanding location and house!

This place is amazing. The lanai and kitchen was superb. Very wonderful to hear waves crashing, watch dolphins, view amazing sunsets, and fish gaze below the lanai. This place comes with everything you may need to be comfortable - including the wonder AC; and we were grateful for the shared beach gear. It is true the front side of the home street noise is loud; however, all family members agreed that the view outweighs the noise. Hurricane Calvin was a threat and the host checked in with us multiple times. Thank you for sharing this place with us and it is our hope to return one day. ALOHA

The house was very nice as promoted. Great view on the ocean and Kona! Convenient to or downtown Kona, you can walk there in 10 minutes or less!

Great trip to Kona again. We did night Snorkel trip with the Manta Rays, once in a liftetime experience!

We had a great vacation! Thank you for sharing your home with us. The location and views are amazing! It had everything we needed; cooler, beach chairs and towels, comfortable beds :) We could have sat all day watching the waves and spotting whales and dolphins on the lanai.

The entire experience was amazing! Check in was a breeze! House is gorgeous, right on the water! Can’t find another place that has a better sunset view! And the house was SO clean! I have never been anywhere that was this clean and tidy… especially not a rental. AC was very nice when we used it. Owner was very communicative and available. Just an overall great stay. Don’t give it another thought… just book!

Great views and very comfortable layout for our family of 5. Well equipped with everything you need. Amazing views from the back patio, with dolphins and surfers providing great entertainment. My teenagers appreciated the beach next door. Kitchen well equipped (we made Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed.). Highly recommend - a place to make memories.

This vacation home was amazing!! We enjoyed it so much. Perfect location near a lot of restaurants and stores. It was very tidy and clean and the back patio had the perfect view! We watched surfers in the morning and also enjoyed all the fish surrounding the area. Carla was amazing as well she made our stay so smooth. Also this place has A/C which work wonderfully ! We will be back again !

This is a great spot to be right on the ocean. House is beautiful and Carla is a gem.

We truly enjoyed our visit. Things we loved: gourmet kitchen, great laundry room with everything thing that we needed for the beach and more, clean and updated bathrooms, beautiful long and wide balcony right over the ocean, private gated parking, close to attractions and restaurants, nextdoor to a fantastic beach that we snorkeled from. The only things we didn't like were: noisy street for second and third bedrooms, but we stayed in the master facing the ocean so no noise, and the other thing we didn't like was having to leave! If you're used to street noise and cars, the noise won't bother you because the ocean waves are RIGHT THERE. Best sleep ever! Manager and owner is very easy to reach and easy to get along with.

Words cannot describe the fun we had here. Everything was absolutely perfect and just beautiful. We will be back for sure.

Perfect set up. Had 6 of us, house had everything we needed. Walking distance from Kona Village, the surfers were fun to watch, could see Dolphins from our deck. Thank you. Host was very nice.

We usually stay at Mauna Lani but this time decided to stay at this location. It is a beautiful property and wonderful location to shops and night life. No AC, but with all windows and fans open…it’s not so bad. Just took some getting used too. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

They left out all the whales and dolphins we would see from the porch! An absolute treasure staying here. A perfect week.

The location is great! You are right on the ocean with great views and still close to everything. Covered porch was a huge plus. From there, you soak in views of the crabs on the rocks, yellow tang and other fish in the water, dolphins and whales swimming by and great star observations at night. House is in good condition and well stocked, open-ish floorplan and easy to stay in. We stayed with 5 adults and everyone had enough space. Kitchen was good for cooking and hanging out. Be aware there is no A/C, so you have to keep the windows open and move the fans around depending on the breezes to stay cooler. Getting in and out of the driveway is a bit of work, but understandable based on the location and you do get the hang of it. We would definitely stay here again.

In over 40 years of traveling to Kailua-Kona, this is the best property I have stayed in.

We had an amazing family vacation with our three kids (9,11,14) in Kona. The house is located within walking distance of the center of Kona, has a beach right next door and has the best view of huge waves and surfers. We stayed for two weeks, the house has plenty of room for a family of five and everything you might need in the kitchen and beyond. We were a little concerned about not having A/C, but that concern was not necessary. The ocean breeze cools the house and it has a very comfortable temperature throughout the day and night. Everything was very clean and well kept, communication with the owner was excellent. My favorite was waking up in the morning to the sound of the waves and watching the ocean while drinking my morning tea! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Kona very much. The home was beautiful and within walking distance of downtown. Well stocked with items helpful to any trip to Kona (beach towels, cooler, ice packs, etc.). A portable air conditioner in the back room would help tremendously with temperature/comfort level. There are a few homeless in the park next door, but they were kind and did not in any way bother us. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset and surfers on the water directly in front of the house, as well as the black crabs and schools of yellow tang in the bay.

Everything was wonderful. Proximity to great restaurants and beaches. House was clean, beautiful and comfortable. All the amenities! Bringing binoculars next time!

This property had everything we could've asked for and more. Sunsets, crashing waves, dolphins, whales, surfers, boogie boarders. Absolutely incredible views from the lanai. The property was a lot larger than it appeared in the photos and our family of four had zero space issues. Everything was cleaned, organized and it's evident the owners take great pride in this home. Carla was an absolute pleasure to deal with and ensured our check in was seamless. There's a reason why this property has wonderful reviews. This is an outstanding rental and is what every property on VRBO should strive to be like!!

Pros: Incredible view, sunsets from the lanai, comfortable beds (soft sheets!), provided beach towels, laundry & dish detergent and shampoo & conditioner, as were a few spices and condiments. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Cons: Late afternoon the sun beats in and heats the place up. We had to run all the fans each night (great to have them provided), traffic and street noise loud for street side bedrooms, climbing the stairs with heavy suitcases would be difficult for anyone who wasn't able, the worst part was backing out of the driveway during rush hours (hard to see and then to make your move fast). We would rent this property again, simply for the view!

We love Kona and this property is in the great location. Walking distance to everything. It is well equipped. I think the only thing it was missing was tissues! Great kitchen. Great lanai. Not having AC was a bigger issue than I thought it would be. We are from Arizona and can handle the heat. But that afternoon sun before sunset is brutal. We like to get home before sunset to watch it. The house was too hot. You were dripping sweat trying to shower and get ready. Everything was fantastic. Great view. Beds were comfy enough. I think we would consider staying there again. Even without the AC. It is just gorgeous.
