Great location, very comfortable room/ bed. Nice attached restaurant. Excellent breakfast.

Check in a little awkward. Some details in room need attention: shower dispensers not working well. Door to room closing only with a push - would be annoying for other guests.

This hotel is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. The service was excellent and the location is great

The negative thing was that every morning around 5:30-6 a truck came to deliver some goods for the bakery next door and it made a lot of noise that woke me up the first two nights but then I had another room on the other side of the hotel. I have to mention this as even though this has nothing to do with the hotel they have to fix this as they can't let things like that spoil the great job they have done to make the stay at the hotel perfect in every other way. I´m a person that doesn´t let small things wake me up but this was more than that. There must be rules in Germany that protect people from noise like that until at least 8 in the morning on weekdays

Perfect situation between train station, finance district and old town. Great Boutique Hotel deco, confortable room ans very nice and professional personnel. Good restaurant for dinner and large choice for breakfast.

Noise coming from nightclub music on Friday and Saturday evenings.

A surprisingly fantastic hotel, located at the heart of Frankfurt, in walking distance from the river and city market. An example of a historicism building elegantly combined with modern interior luxurious touches. I wish I had a longer stay!

Clean room, convenient location.

Check in procedure was a bit messy

Very kind, multilingual staff who fixed small problems immediately. The front desk seemed to have two people available at all times. The location is absolutely perfect -- far enough from the main train station to be insulated from the craziness, but still in the middle of everything. (Anglophones should not miss the English Theater next door, the oldest English-language theater in Continental Europe.) Our room was very quiet; in eight days, we never heard any street noise. The best part was the breakfast, which offered long hours (indispensable if you are jet lagged) with excellent buffet and a la carte options.

Small problems with the shower that were addressed quickly. Laundry prices are outrageous, but I had trouble finding a laundromat close by where I could do it myself. Not a big deal.

The Lume is a lovely hotel very close to the centre of Frankfurt. Rooms were supper comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Good location between the Centre of town and the main train station. Nice, bright room on the 5th floor overlooking the square with a very comfortable king bed.

When we arrived our room wasn’t ready which was fine because it was only 13:00 and check-in is at 15:00, so we sat down in the hotel’s lounge to sort ourselves out and wait for the room. While waiting we noticed people checking in and being told that their room was ready. By the third person being told that their room was ready, we approached reception and asked them what was going on. It appears our room was in fact ready but they had forgotten to tell us. I would suggest that the chap who told us our room wasn’t ready when we arrived should have been more on the all and monitored the situation more closely. The corridors on the 5th floor were very dark and musty and the carpet looked like it needed to be replaced.

Location, room and breakfast were excellent.

Food at dinner is excellent, service nice but a bit too formal. Dishes heavily overpriced.
