Super Lage abseits vom Trubel auf dem Berg. Sehr schöner Aussenbereich einer toller Pool. Die Bungalows haben eine schöne Terrasse, wo man abends auch mal in Ruhe verweilen kann.

Das Bungalow ist nicht gut ausgestattet. Es wirkt alles marode und ungepflegt. Das Badezimmer war schmutzig. Überall lagen Haare und das WC war ebenfalls nicht sauber.

South Mountain Resort is definitely one of the best resorts to stay at on the island. Great location near the center of San Juan with a beautiful view. The room was big and clean. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable so we slept really well during our stay. The staff and the owner were all very nice and friendly. And the pool is amazing. On top of all, their WIFI works very well so we didn't have a problem to work before exploring the island. I definitely recommend this resort for the comfort, service, location and the amenities.

Атмосфера , чистота, красивая территория (растут бананы , папки которые можно срывать и есть прям на месте) классный бассейн , бар, ресторан , номера (у нас были бунгало)

Probablemente es el mejor alojamiento resort de toda la isla de Siquijor, por sus magníficas instalaciones. Está situado en mitad de la naturaleza, a cinco minutos en moto del pueblecito de San Juan y la tranquilidad es total. La piscina es preciosa y desde esta se puede ver la puesta de sol todos los dias. El hotel es precioso. Los bungalows están geniales y todo está muy limpio. El personal es muy amable, te ayudan y te solucionan todo rápidamente, siempre con una sonrisa. Los dueños son muy amables e incluso nos invitaron a probar un gazpacho andaluz. La estancia ha sido genial, incluso extendimos dos días más

Nos ha gustado todo. Quizás yo pondría a alguien que se encargase más del servicio en la piscina, que apenas venían y teníamos que ir nosotros por las bebidas. Pero nada grave. El hotel es una maravilla

Everything!!!! The location is amazing, the resort is wonderful, all the staff are super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food is really really good. The owners are taking care of the resort amazingly, the whole place is just wow! We had a wonderful stay in SMR and for sure going to be back! Oh and they have super cute dogs, which makes the place more cozy :)

Everything, we were welcomed by the very friendly staff and of course , the cutest dogs !! The pool is amazing , the room was spacious and so comfortable, best bed . The environment is so quiet , we had the best sleeps . The view is very nice too . Breakfast was big and yummy .

The location in the mountains with stunning views! So peaceful. Staff were amazing! very helpful and attentive. Peter was the best host. Some reviews mentioned the long bumpy hill up to the resort, which is there, however didn’t bother us, you benefit by seeing the best sunsets! We hired a scooter for our stay, arranged by the resort so easy to get around. Family dogs were lovely & no bother “Justine, Vera, Celine, Shakira, Madonna” Breakfast was great, best brewed coffee too! We had two evening meals at their restaurant, including a delicious steak on the BBQ Cocktails and lunchtime nibbles. Wifi was great for what we needed. We would love to go back :)

Everything it was very upsetting to leave .Peter the owner was the best host I have come across in all my years of traveling.The staff were fantastic and so friendly.I would love to return. Thank you South Mountain for such a perfect stay.

The beautiful sunsets and the feeling you were part of a family resort .(also 5 gorgeous dogs that all had names of rock stars) .Do yourself a favour and stay here.

I like the food and the staffs.

I hope they will add more of Filipino kind of food in the future because most of the food is more appealing to Western countries. The pool has no lighting during night time so it would be better to swim during daytime. Some part is not yet develop like the patio beside the swimming pool. It was empty and no other sights to see other than grasses and trees although there was an overlook.

Omg we had the most amazing time here, the location is amazing and the resort is stunning, The room was big and modern and very clean also the bed was so comfy. The owners are very welcoming and make you feel at home and the staff were brilliant. Breakfast is great and we had a bbq on the Monday evening the food was delicious. I defiantly recomend staying here 😁😁

The pool is huge, very nice & has a nice view! Breakfast was delicious & Lovely who served us most mornings was very attentive & smiley! We met 2 lovely couples also staying at the resort, who we went for drinks with in Get Wreaked & for a meals with at Baha Bar!

The road to the property isn’t the best! Its a good 20 minute walk from top to bottom & takes longer uphill & is pitch dark with no lights at night! You have to rent a scooter to be honest but be extremely careful as the road is just rocks near to the resort! The tricycle provided by the resort to pick us up from the ferry over charged us (750) when it should be (550) & the tricycle guy we used in town (Ariel only charged us (400) The room we were first given was very nice but had absolutely no privacy there are 2 windows directly behind the bed that have no curtains & anyone can just look in (Yes we tested it from both sides & you can clearly see outside & inside even though the window is slightly mirrored! Every single day we had to ask for our room to be cleaned, bed to be made, for fresh towels & toilet paper & our bed to be changed every week (We stayed 12 nights) We dined twice in the restaurant & it was a big mistake as the food was absolutely disgusting, the majority of the meals produced by microwave! Save yourself money & go into town there are several amazing restaurants in town Baha Bar, Thai Station & Dolce Amore (Italian) We’ve only stayed at hotel during our 4 months travelling through Asia & for the price it was very disappointing as we’ve stayed in a lot cheaper for a lot better! Also nothing special was on at the resort for Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve/New Years Day which again was disappointing as asides a tiny Christmas tree in the corner & a few hanging things that was it! If we ever return to Siquijor we will not be returning to SouthMountain Resort as there is a lovely hotel just down the road called Nakabalo which our friends stayed in & it was a million times nicer, so much so we went there most evenings for drinks & to play pool before going for dinner in town!

we had a fabulous welcome on arrival, the pool is really nice and our room had a great view! free bananas you can pick around the property. owner and staff really friendly and helpful. breakfast was included and was really tasty. kept getting our water refilled in our room. music playing around the hotel which was nice too!

it’s a bit of a long and steep road up to the property so you need a vehicle ideally to go in and out (rent of a scooter or taxi/tuk tuk)

Very nice hotel with a beautiful garden and pool area. The bungalows are very spacious and have a bedroom with a king-size bed, a small kitchen, an extra bed and a sofa. On the large terrace you have a beautiful view of the garden and the pool. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

We loved our room and facilities. Staff were fantastic. Views were awesome too!

It was a bit of a steep, unfinished long road to ride on a scooter, especially at night.

The owner is a very friendly guy. When the resort will be finished it will be a beautiful place!

The resort is not yet finished (e.g. no restaurant) and it was very noisy due to construction activities! Therefore, the price performance was not yet given. The road to the resort is quite tricky to drive on.
