My sister and our husbands stayed for 1 week.. Condo has all that we needed. The view of the ocean is priceless!!! Would definitely stay again. We had some icy weather but all in all was great winter retreat.

Clean, beautiful view, well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect 3 bed 3 bath for 3 couples.

The layout worked just wonderful for our family of 5. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Beds are very comfortable! Cool shower in the primary bedroom. Awesome view, large deck - heat place to have meals.

Beautiful place, beautiful weather, great family visit!

My husband and I stayed here with two other couples, lifelong friends. This house has a beautiful view of the ocean although no direct access to the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The three bedrooms are all very comfortable and each of us had our own bathroom. We were in walking distance (a couple of blocks) to the Nye Beach shopping/restaurant area. We would all stay here again and highly recommend it to our other friends.

This condo is stunning! The pictures are accurate and it was very clean. We only stayed for one night, but the condo was in a great location. My only issue was that for the price and cleaning fee, we thought the checkout protocol - having to strip the beds, take out the trash, and start laundry - was too much to ask.

We were impressed by how well stocked the condo was, its cleanliness, and its spectacular views of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable as well. As beautiful as the view is, there is no immediate access to the beach(the photos are rather deceptive). Our flight had been cancelled and rebooked from a 4.5 hour flight to a 101/2 hour flight, so I missed a message from Meredith saying our check in was delayed last minute. It was moved from 4:00 to 5:30. Our family had to be at a very important once in a lifetime family wedding related dinner that night at 6:00, so that was not okay. Keeping a check in time is important for a lot of reasons: events, tired travelers needing to rest, and the integrity of the management company. Meredith was apologetic and via a call, gave us a late check out. I then received at reminder that we had an 11 am check out. I texted back and said we did not. The communication at Meredith needs to be improved. I told them that we had already taken them up on the late check out. My hope is that they will not charge us. I think it was the least they could have done to make up for the check in fiasco. If you ever have an event upon arrival at a Meredith property, my advice is to call and tell them to make sure your rental will be ready at 4:00.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Somewhere at the Beach. The condo is new, luxury and is exactly what is desrcibed in the listing. The bathrooms in 2 master suites are huge! The view is unforgettable. The neighborhood is very quiet. Checking in and out were easy. It is a quick walk into town to get to Nye beach, although I wish there was a private staircase leading to the beach. All in all, we loved the place. Thank you for sharing your beaitiful place with us.

The property was as pictured. It was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean. I would have no problem booking again through Meredith Properties. Thank you for a perfect stay. VRBO no longer gets involved in the rental process. They do not facilitate payment, so you have two entities coming after you for payment and neither knows what the other has been paid, which is highly inconvenient. If there's a problem, it's not VRBO's problem. Their "customer service" is non-existent, and simply refers you back to the owner/manager. Everything goes through the owner/manager. Given that change, I see no reason I wouldn't simply book through the local manager. I fully intend to return to the Oregon Coast, and next time (in Oregon or anywhere) will be booking locally in the future.

Relaxing coast beautiful property great area.

This is the second year my sisters and I have stayed here for a week in March. The two master view suites and the 3rd bedroom with full bath are perfect. Beautiful view of the Yaquina lighthouse, which is a short drive with an interesting interpretive center and nice trails to walk. Easy short walk to Nye beach, and a short trail to the beach from the condo. Fun to cook in a wonderful kitchen that has everything. We'll be back in 2024!

Everything was great! We particularly loved that there were to "master suites" with king beds and ocean views. Very clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

We booked our stay for my last trip of my pregnancy. To stay on the entry level main floor with amenities, costing about $500. We were not allowed to check in until 4 pm. I spent the first two hours on the phone being hung up on and tossed around to different employees, each saying that they would help and get a manager to talk with me. I was told I would be given a different stay matching what I booked or offered my money back. Then after hours of being hung up on they acknowledged that the booking was not accurate and that I would be contacted the next day. I did not receive a call back the next day, or the next or the next. I reached out numerous times and was told numerous times a manager would be calling. Then I received an email today saying they made the decision to give a fraction of the money back, and refused to call. I would never have booked a $500 stay if I wasn’t going to get what I paid for. I was spoken down to, and mistreated. I am very pregnant and it was the opposite of relaxing. It was stressful and overall exhausting to deal with this experience. If a booking is false and proven as such, money needs to be refunded. Period. It was a clean room, so those helpers should not be affected. I also would not say anything bad about this neighborhood and beach, so that rating is high as well. It was the management and false advertising.

The place was absolutely Beautiful and the views were amazing. The property was so peaceful and quiet. We had an absolutely amazing time😊

This property was perfect for us and was even better than we expected!

Our family of 5 decided this was the best place we've stayed at. The beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, everything was clean and updated. The views of the Pacific were always calling us. We loved eating breakfast at Cafe Stephanie and lunch at Mo's. We watched sea lions on the docks down at the port. Visiting the Hatfield marine science center is a must. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was really clean and well stocked. It worked perfectly for 2 couples with the 2 master suites. Our only complaint was that the beach access was a little misleading. Everything was great.

This was an excellent property. Extremely well kept and has everything you could ever need during a multiple day stay. Clean as clean could be! Our grandparents had no issues getting to the second floor due to the elevator and the one master suite is a walk in shower which was huge for those that are unable to step over a bathtub threshold. The only minor issue that I think those staying should be aware of is a homeless man living in the bushes on the property. I realize Oregon has a homeless problem but it is just something to keep in mind so you don't let your kids go hiking down the hill to the beach alone.

Had a great stay here. This property was the best stocked of any I’ve stayed in. Very nice appliances and cookware. Ample towels, extra sheets/blankets, etc. and super clean. Quiet location and good communication with property manager. It is not possible to get to the beach from the property (safely) and would have been nice if the listing was more specific about that. But would not have changed our plans. Would definitely stay here again. Small suggestion, please post instructions for using fireplace and install pads on kitchen cabinets to help with noise.

This was a wonderful vacation for 3 sisters -- the two ocean view bedrooms with bath were perfect, with a third nice bedroom and bath separate. Beautiful new kitchen very well equipped. A nice neighborhood trail to the beach a block away. and easy walk to Nye Beach. This will be our 'go to' place in Newport for future stays.

We loved everything about this condo: views, location, decor, cleanliness.

The view was amazing

This unit is on the second floor so when the family or renters upstairs are there the noise levels are unacceptable. Kids jumping around, running, screaming etc. This should be mentioned. We finally went upstairs after banging on the ceiling for a day or two. They were very entitled and rude.

The condo was immaculate upon our arrival, the kitchen has everything you could possible need, beds and linens are comfortable, the views are incredible, would highly recommend!

This was an extremely comfortable condo for a girls get-together. The kitchen was very well stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms are large, plus the furnishings (including the beds) were very comfortable. We knew there would be an incredible ocean view from inside, but add the large covered deck with table and chairs outside and it is perfection.
