This hotel exceeded all my expectations. It’s located in a quiet area near the beach, making it the perfect getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and personable, adding a warm touch to the stay. The breakfast setup was excellent, offering a good variety to start the day. The room was spacious and very comfortable, providing a great place to relax. Booking activities through the hotel was a breeze, and the convenience of adding them to the hotel bill was a nice touch. I would rate this place higher than a 10 if I could—it truly was an exceptional stay!

I had an amazing stay in Hoi An, and I can't recommend this place enough! Everything was perfect, especially the staff. The room was spacious, with a warm color tone and lighting that made me feel incredibly cozy and relaxed. It had everything I needed, and the bed and mattress were just right—not too soft, not too firm. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming. They provided great advice and were more than happy to help organize my days. The location is unbeatable—right next to the beach, yet on a quiet street. Plus, the free shuttle bus to the old town was a fantastic convenience. I truly felt at home during my stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning to Hoi An and staying here again. Much gratitude to all the staff for making my stay so pleasant. If you’re visiting Hoi An, do yourself a favor and stay here—you won’t regret it!

I had an impeccable stay at this hotel. The place is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently close to a beautiful beach. As a new hotel, everything functions perfectly, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The free shuttle bus to Hoi An’s central area made getting around incredibly easy. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of high-quality options, both Vietnamese and Western, to choose from. However, the highlight of my stay was the staff. They were not only super competent, promptly attending to anything I needed, but also genuinely friendly and warm. They made me feel so welcome that I found myself wanting to extend my stay just to enjoy their company a bit longer!

The room was elegantly designed and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after exploring the area. The staff were incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain all the best options for visiting the local attractions. Our stay was exceptional, thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful hosts, Jade and John. They made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The cooking class they organized for us was an unforgettable experience. The nearby beach is stunning, and we enjoyed walking there every day. The building itself is beautiful and kept wonderfully cool with efficient air conditioning. The traditional Vietnamese coffee served was fantastic, and the bed was very comfortable. We were also provided with fresh, filtered water whenever we needed it, free of charge. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and we highly recommend it.

The hotel is located on a quite parallel road to the main road. Crossing the main road and you will get to a very quite part of the beach. All facilities are there and you can borrow a bike for free to get around which is super handy. The staff was nice and the swimming pool was great. We enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast was good, but not super extensive and the afternoon tea was not really an afternoon tea. We booked 2 adjacent rooms as we are travelling with 2 kids, 1 was a nice proper size and the other one quite small with the bathroom door blocking the whole sink completely when opening. And passing to get to sink was hard as the shower screen was in the way. Just a bit unhandy. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the balcony was also nice to sit in the evenings. Location was good with a supermarket around the corner and the more touristy beach about 10-15 min walk away. But if you take the bike, you’ll be there quicker. And compliments tot he masseuse for the best Thai massage.

Tri, Phuong, Bao, and Son were absolutely incredible during our stay. Breakfast is amazing!! The private balcony we had was amazing!!! The lobby was so clean and comfortable. Happy hour at the pool is BOGO free!!!! One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at because the service was just absolutely top-notch. Can also rent bikes for free too! Absolutely want to come back!!

Excellent experience during our 11-day stay! The staff are kind, warm, and lovely. They really want you to feel at home and comfortable. Phuong, Tri, and Danh treated us like family and took care of our needs. (Phuong even arranged a nice dinner for us - compliments of the hotel - as a thank you for being long term guests.) The location is great - 5 minutes walk to the beach (many great bars, restaurants, and coffee shops) but away from the noise from the restaurants, hotels, and hostels on the road that runs alongside the beach. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained by the grounds and maintenance staff. The pool is really lovely and relaxing. The breakfast is really nice - the kitchen staff create a really beautiful spread of freshly cooked, delicious food. Our room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the ocean. Bathroom was very nice (separate shower from toilet). Huge overhead shower head with lots of hot water and pressure :)

L’hôtel était vraiment très bien et nous avons passé un très agréable moment! Toute l’équipe était gentille! Les gens de la cuisine ont été très avenant avec nous ainsi que Phuong, Tri, Bao et un autre jeune homme dont j’ai oublié le prénom! Tout le monde est souriant et très accueillant! Un bel hôtel! Les bicyclettes gratuites, c’est vraiment apprécié! Il faut aller voir la campagne environnante!

The venue was advertised as a resort Apart from the pool there was really nothing to do We had the unfortunate circumstances that I had a dental appointment in Saigon and they changed the dates of my appointment due to the TET festival so we had arrive a day early which was ok with them but also had to leave a day early but the manager insisted we had to pay the full 5 nights considering the premises was far from full To me the resort was over advertised the bar was closed the restaurant was closed other than for takeout and breakfast it was a very disappointing trip coupled with having to pay for a night we didn't stay For any type of entertainment we had to go to Hoi An which was about 5-6 kilometres away

Such a wonderful boutique hotel. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was great and the pool and use of pushbikes a real bonus. But what made our stay here so enjoyable were all the staff. Everyone who works at the hotel were so welcoming. Phuong was exceptional. She was so friendly and helpful and did absolutely everything she could to make our holiday in Hoi An so memorable.

Excellent service from all staff, special thanks to Phuong who remembered our names and went out of her way to make our stay special. Great free bikes to use, a quiet area right by the beach, where there are lots of places to eat and drink without feeling super hectic and touristy. Clean pool and lovely garden, excellent views and great value. Good breakfast spread and the on site spa was also brilliant. Would recommend!

Good size room. Good Breakfsat, clean. Not much more I can say as we felt we had been lied too especially regarding the location.

We were on the 5th floor. The lift only goes to the 4th. The bath was on the balcony with abosultely no privacy. as only railings so anyone could see you get in and out of it from below or accross the road, There was no "sea view".it was an awful view of a pretty run down area and building site if we hadnt been on the fifth floor it would have been worse. . It was too far away from everything so had to use Grab cabs. Staff presented us with a bit of paper to sign when we arrived, No welcome at all, and not a sinlge member of staff spoke to us all the time we were there, until we were leaving when they asked us to write them a 10 star review! Beds were rock hard, Water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. The rooms would have benefitted with at least a picture on the wall or any form or attempt at decoration. NO bedside lights was annoying. The curtains left a gap in the middle or fell off the end of the poles. It was a long way from the beach, and they didnt have any bicycles so too far to walk for me, and the area to walk through did not look inviting to tourists! Wish we had moved hotels but we were exhausted when we arrived so we cut short our stay instead.

We loved our time at Athenia. We stayed here for 10 days and found that the staff were super helpful and friendly, the rooms were tidy and cleaned daily, breakfast buffet was delicious with a good variety of options. The hotel was conveniently located and walking distance to a beautiful local beach and strip of shops with some amazing local food options. Just perfect :) we will definitely come back here again in the future!
