Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, haben uns viele Informationen zu kommen lassen und standen uns immer zur Verfügung, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Zu den Wohnungen sollte man wissen, dass der maltesische Standard nicht dem deutschen Standard gleicht, d.h. Die Wohnungen befinden sich im Kellergeschoss, daher auch schlechte Lüftungsmöglichkeit sowie schlechtes Licht. Sie sind von der Einrichtung sehr spärlich gehalten und sehen schon sehr verwohnt aus. Wer allerdings nur zum schlafen das Haus nutzen möchte, dafür reicht es. Die Außenanlage ist dafür umso schöner, attraktiver und einladend eingerichtet. Wenn das Wetter mitspielt, kann man dort schöne Stunden verbringen. Da wir viel von Malta sehen wollten und das Wetter nicht für die Poolanlage geeignet war, konnten wir diesen leider nicht nutzen.

We were a group of three families, six adults and five children aged from 6 to 10. For us it was ideal deal to rent all three apartments of the villa. It was great to hang out and dine together at the pool area, but it was also convenient to be able to cook and rest in the privacy of the separate apartments every now and then. The pool area had many cozy lounge areas here and there, but it could have felt a bit too crowded had there been some other peace and privacy loving guests instead of friends and family. The pool itself was fantastic according to the children. Us adults enjoyed it very much as well although the water was a bit chilly since the weather was not that hot in October anymore. Also the water was in need of a little cleaning. In the evening the illuminated pool area was very pretty. The apartments had reasonably well equipped kitchens and washing machines which was convenient with the children. The bathroom of the sky blue apartment was roomy, but the ones in the yellow and orange apartments were on the small side. The orange apartment is probably more suitable for a couple than a family of four. It would have been possible to unite the blue and orange apartments by opening a communicating door. The air inside the apartments got a little stuffy at times probably due to the moist weather and the fact that the apartments were on the ground/basement level. The surrounding area in Madliena was very peaceful and had lots of beautiful houses and gardens. The restaurants and grocery stores were a bit further away down the hill, but many stores and restaurants offer free home delivery. We also made many trips to the stores by foot and carried our food and water bottles in our backpacks up the hill for a fun and very effective exercise. The hosts, Paul and Josanne, were very helpful and flexible in adjusting to our timetable (our flight arrived very early but we were allowed to check in whilst some of the apartments were still being cleaned). We got great tips for day trips and help in organizing a minibus to take us around the islands. The hosts were very discreet and we hardly even noticed they were there but help was always quickly available when needed. Paul and Josanne were also very patient and friendly although the kids got quite lively at times. We think that the description of the Colours apartments by the owners is realistic and our expectations were met or even exceeded. We would recommend the apartments especially for larger groups.

The property and gardens were lovely. Apartments were clean and well equipped. We were a large group and Paul and Josanne were very accomodating. We were very sad to leave but would love to go back in the near future as the children are still raving about it! Absolutely wonderful stay

What can I say? Our stay at the sky blue apartment was amazing. The accomodation was clean and well presented with a pool area that really is an oasis. The place looks just as good in reality as does in the pictures. Paul and Josanne are two of the most friendly and accomodating people you could wish to meet. They are very welcoming and attentive yet they are never imposing and your privacy is always respected. Nothing is too much trouble and they will always go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable and stress free as possible. I have visited Malta many times and I can safely say we will definitely be staying here again, you really do get the personal touch. Kristian & Megan

The pool area is a little paradise away from the towns and busy areas. Car hire is recommended but the bus stop is only a short walk from the apartment and taxis can be ordered from the owners or online. The owners are a delightful couple and were very helpful during our stay. The rooms are clean with plenty of space. We were a group of 9 and didn't even use all the beds and extra beds can be provided. Everyone was very happy with the apartments and would definitely stay here again if returning to Malta.

We went with a group of 10 people to Malta and it was fantastic. from the moment we arrived there was a driver to bring us to our stay. Our stay at this villa was well beyond what was expected. A truly lovely place to to stay. All we needed was there, and the rest. Any queries we had were quickly answered by the lovely couple who own the villa. Even when one of our group had a bad injury they drove her to A&E and waited for her. Accomadation was great, and a charming area to swim, BBQ, party and relax in. I would definetly go back here again! An overall 10/10 stay!

Paul and josanne were the upmost wonderful hosts, they put up with a group of 10 Scottish friends, they must be super hosts. the villa itself was homely and well maintained. the outside area where we spent most of our time as it was the most beautiful garden and pool area, was well maintained, clean and full of fun structures. we dined outside using there stone bbq and sat in the gazebo with a lovely view of the pool and waterfall which leads to a hidden cove Jacuzzi bath. they were the pleasant couple who even put up with us for a meal which was cooked by us so they are brave to have even ate it. it was honestly one of the best vacations I have been on, and it had a huge amount to do with paul and josanne. I cant wait to get back to malta and play again in the sun and the pool and maybe have another trip to best ice cream shop ever with the two of them. huge thanks to the two of them. Cheryl.

We had an amazing time in Malta. We were with a group of 13 and stayed with Paul and Josanne for 8 days. During the day we mostly enjoyed the amazing garden or we took a trip to a beach or a city. Paul is very helpful with ordering things like a trip to Blue Lagoon (very nice beach) or a taxi or even food. But just laying at the poolside is also very enjoyable. Partying in Malta is also not a problem. Beforehand, we were a bit dubious if we could enjoy the nightlife in Malta. But as a group of young Dutch students we have had the time of our lives! Nice clubs and a lot of places where you can get cheap drinks. We highly suggest Footloose in st. Julians! Thus overall we are very positive about our stay. The apartments were clean and Paul and Josanne made us immediately feel comfortable.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Colours villa, Madliena, late September / early October 2014, when we got married at the nearby Torre Paulina. In total there were 11 of us sharing, 4 couples and 3 individuals. It was nothing short of superb! The apartments provided us with all that we needed. The pool, gardens, jacuzzi and other outdoor facilities were exquisite, especially with us having exclusive use. Being able to crawl out of bed and jump into our own pool was sheer luxury! The weather was glorious. The villa is situated in a complex with other villas and is secluded, with no outside interference. You’ll need a hire car or taxis to get about, though, as the villa is located at the top of a big hill! We cannot thank the hosts, Paul and Josanne, enough! Their local knowledge, assistance and willingness to go the extra mile proved invaluable and made our stay both relaxing and very memorable; they even put out the red carpet when we got back from our wedding! Their family dog, Hank, also kept us amused. We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa. Julie, Steve and family.

My (now) husband and I decided to get married this year in Malta and booked all three apartments for our family and friends because we loved the pictures of the outside area and wanted our reception to be held there. On arrival I am pleased to say the pictures did it wonderful justice. The outside is just beautiful and my husband and nephew made good use of the pool and jacuzzi. We also made lovely use of the BBQ area. Paul and Josanne where brilliant hosts and went above and beyond to help us get ready for our wedding, from Josanne helping to bake our wedding cake to decorating the outside area. No request from us was too much for them and along with their son they helped to make the wedding preprations go very smoothly and we would like to thank them so much for all that they did. The apartments are in a lovely quiet area. We had a beautiful wedding and the apartments along with Paul and Joasanne's assistance helped to make it such a special day. We will definately be returning to Malta and will definately be staying here again.

Myself and four freinds booked all three apartments at the start of april,we where met by chauffeur and was driven to the location,upon arrival we where greted by josanne the host which shown around.myself and my friends where taken back by how beautiful the house and garden was compared to the photos.the huge swimming pool and nine person jacuzi is amazing to look at but unforunatley is was a tad bit cold to get into at the time of our stay.the family that lives here could not do as much to be helpful,IE: organise taxis if needed on a night out,tell you the best places to visit for sight seeing trips,organise car rental which in my opinion would be needed but it is cheap to hire a car,there son nat also is very helpful with any inquries you may have.the family also has a few pets cats dog turtles and amazing fish pond which really adds charachter to this lovley residents.i would defiently be going back to visit malta in the furture and i will be staying here again.my opinion great host,good location great value for money.

I was here with a group of Dutch students about a week ago, and we had a great time! We rented all three appartments and I can say the Sky Blue is the one I liked the most. A big plus of this villa is that it has a wonderful quiet and peaceful garden with things you wouldn't find in every place. Little bridges, a koy karper pond, a gazebo and even a place where they have turtles! Nice lightning at night. They have a nice place to have barbecues as well including a big barbecue stand where we could make use of. There are no busy roads in the neighborhood, so that's a plus, and the area is great for walks or jogging as we did. Paceville, where all the nightlife is is nearby and was very cheap by taxi.

We recently returned from our all too short holiday at these appartments having booked out all three for an extended family holiday, and all in our group agree that the description and photos do not do total justice to the villa, it is fantastic. Josanne & Paul are a smashing couple who provide a first class venue and support, for a relaxed, care free, do as you please holiday, we were met at the airport, provided with welcome packs and made completely at home. Some members of our group had not been to Malta before but are now fully paid up members of the "I LOVE MALTA" brigade. To sum up, fantastic villa, wonderfull hosts,make a very enjoyable holiday we would highly reccomend, we all hope to return, in the not to distant future to marvellous madliena.

My friends and I go away every year, we are a group of usually about 10 Firemen who go away to celebrate St Pats Day, this year we went to celebrate St Georges Day, and decided on Malta. I originally enquired about another house but Paul contacted me and offered this. We were not disappointed, the pictures do not do it justice. We asked Paul to get us 100 bottles of beer in for our arrival which he did without question. We were picked up at the airport and arrived to be shown round by Josanne, the apartments were spotless and cool, everyone was given a beer (oh yes there was a welcome pack in each apartment including more beer , champagne and bread, ham, cheese, jam etc) Once we settled in and were enjoying a refreshing drink by the pool, Josanne prepared a beautiful meal for us (totally unexpected and very welcome). Within a couple of hours we were at home. The apartments were spotless and cleaned every day as is the outside patio area. If you don't like animals don't come, in other words look at the description written by the owners!!! When we ran out of beer Josanne would take us to the supermarket, there are even shops that will deliver. When we went out we walked at first but as the week wore on we became lazy so Josanne ordered a minibus for us, we adopted it and used it to take us out and bring us back. Some days we would laze by the pool and have a barby, others we would hit Valletta. So what if the owners are on site, do people have something to hide? We thought it was good for security, as was Toby the dog, you wouldn't want to tangle with him. Negatives none, apart from the area isn't too well lit up at night, two of our party got lost going home but that was more to do with their incapacity to handle Maltese Beer rather that poor light. Positives, too many to mention here but I'll try. Clean airy apartments, superb patio area with different nooks and crannies to hide yourself away in. Superb hospitality from our hosts and I cannot stress this enough, if we wanted anything, we just had to ask. The pool was warm and clean, there is an outside shower room and toilet so you don't have to go in wet. Outside fridge so you don't have to keep going in for a beer. Outside seperate kitchen so you don't have get everything out of the apartments for the barby. So to sum it all up, this is a fantastic holiday venue , whether you are a group of lads or a familly with kids, nothing is too much trouble for the hosts, P & J thanks for everthing x

Myself an 9 friends stayed here for one week in July for our 6th form holiday, and we loved it! the facilities were fantastic, especially the pool and outdoor area. It was fairly easy for us to access the city centre in St Julians, and the grocery store down the hill was very handy (we didn't have a car and the store delivered our food to the apartments for us, which was very welcome). Paul and Josanne were both extremely accommodating and helped us out with anything we needed. The only thing i would say is, i recommend buying a card for the air conditioning as we did not and we were very hot at night. As for malta itself, we loved it! For us, as a 6th form holiday, it provided the perfect balance of shopping, sea, sight-seeing and an AMAZING variety of nightlife. Overall we had a fantastic stay and each of us would definitely make a return visit :)

Hi everyone! This is a review of 8 girls from Holland, who have lived in the house of Paul and Josanne for a one-week vacation. We can say loud and clear with everyone: we love to be in Malta and we love to be in this house. It’s laid in a beautiful village, good accessible from different towns and beaches. The garden is a little place from heaven: a nice swimming pool with lights in the night, a hammock to relax and friendly animals walking and swimming around. We have lived in Yellow and Orange, and these were excellent houses. The only thing we missed, were standard house articles like oil, soap for the dishes and towels. But the host and hostess were very helpful and hospitable: we could borrow stuff, they brought us to town and showed the environment extensively. To conclude: we have had a wonderful time in Malta, with also thanks to the nice place we stayed!
