This unit is a well managed, top notch condo in a great location. We have been to PV many times and always stayed in luxury resorts. We were apprehensive that a private condo wouldn't feel as luxurious or feel as well appointed. Jorge's place exceeded our expectations and now we can't imagine staying anywhere else. The condo is tastefully decorated and well stocked, the views are breathtaking and the plunge pool is truly decadent. Jorge, the owner, was very responsive to our initial queries and the booking process was seamless. Alfredo, the property manager, greeted us upon our arrival and was so friendly and professional. All staff on the property were very friendly and helpful as well. With Alfredo's help, we hired Chef Benjamin to prepare us an incredible seafood dinner. Jorge's lovely patio is perfectly set up to enjoy a special meal like this overlooking the panoramic views of Banderas Bay. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us Jorge!

We stayed for one month. Alfredo the concierge, Paola the refresh lady and owner Jorge were all so professional, courteous, helpful and available. The unit is not only furnished but well furnished. Plenty of plates, silverware, glassware, plenty of everything you need, soap, towels, pots and pans, all kind of mixers. Decorated with taste and confortable, the open concept makes it especially spectacular. We used the private patio pool several times a day ! Avalon buildings are up the hill, as there is no side walk on the steep narrow road, we used Uber, very easy and about 4$-10$ ride down or up to La zona romantica. Residents, security staff and maintenance staff are all so nice. All shared public places, gym, pools, lobby are clean and well maintained. Avalon is a quiet and peaceful environnement. We certainly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here as a couple and had a fabulous time at this property. Both Jorge and Alfredo are excellent host and property manager - very helpful and responsive. This apartment is simply beautiful and has an amazing view of downtown PVR. Yes, it is a hike to get up and down but super simple with a $5 Uber ride. The main area of the apartment is essentially open air and does get quite warm but it's very easy to take a dip in the balcony tub to cool down and relax on a lounger. Everything in the apartment worked great, even Alexa who only needed a little prompting to keep things working... ;-) We loved this experience so much we are already planning to return!

Everything was perfect, everything was just as advertised. We had great weather, great place and a great person to do business with. We had an awesome time and will definitely be going back again. Thanks!!!

Condo was great. Check in process was great. I thought the location was a little more in-town when I booked. Also, the security wouldn’t let anyone drink in the pool on-site (the drinks weren’t in glass). Great views from the condo. Great responsiveness from the property manager.

Working remotely has its benefits, but finding a property to accommodate the need for both an inspired working location plus access to the local experience, is huge when selecting a place to go. This property had it all, views, peace, access to everything, and the host, and concierge, Alfredo, we’re so helpful for pointing us in the right direction to get the most of our trip. We will definitely be back!

This property is absolutely perfect for the person who wants to be in the night life, but also have quiet down time. Close enough to get downtown easily yet far enough to drowned the noise! We will recommend to all our friends and family!

Excellent property with great amenities and views.

I've stayed in at least 20 VRBOs. This is by far the best, by a big margin. PV is festive, but that can be a downside late at night. This place had all the view and zero of the sound, as it is perched high above the city. We were concerned about the time it might take to get to bars, restaurants or the beach, but even in high season, via Uber or Taxi, the wait was 5-10 minutes (enough time to gather your gear and take the elevator down, basically) and the cost was never more than 5$ (including a 25-50% tip). So, don't worry about location. The Condo is flawless and so well stocked, including every kitchen item you can imagine, for 8-10 people, includings appliances (top of the line). There's even a well stocked bar (replace the bottles you use/finish before leaving). We used the airport pickup service, the visiting chef, massages and food prestocking, as well as Uber Eats delivery and all were very reasonably priced. The balcony pool was such a wonderful place to cool down, or stay warm (Just ask Alexa to "Heat the Pool". The two property pools were beautiful beyond words. You have to experience the views from each infinity edge to really understand. The place isn't cheap, but it is LARGE, and the bedrooms, bathrooms, living area, kitchen and balcony all exceeded our size expectations. Super quiet bedrooms, so if you need space, just close the door. We'll be going back. You should go. You'll never forget the experience, I assure you. The property management company, which we'd used for another property, delivered a flawless pre-, during, and departing experience. Just ask and it is yours, basically. You can't go wrong with this one.

This place was just magical. Positioned as one of the highest buildings in the city, on our way from the airport the driver had us hyped right away by pointing it out. Once we got up there we were blown away- 2 beautiful infinity pools Surrounded by the jungle on The property with completely different vibes and that felt completely private for most of our stay. Everyone in the building (and Jorge) were extremely welcoming, helpful, and accommodating with whatever we needed or asked. Once we got inside the condo, it got even better. We were able to preorder groceries- fresh guacamole, fruits, and ceviche were waiting upon arrival. The open air concept of the main living space seemed scary for the heat of late august but it was comfortable, breezy, mostly bug-free, and just stunning! The views are ridiculous in the best way possible and we got to enjoy a spectacular sunset almost every night. Even with a lot of rain In the forecast, we did not mind having the open air living situation and it was so perfect to have our own infinity dipping pool just off the bedroom for those rainy afternoons and evenings. Although we were somewhat removed from the center of the city and the nightlife, we really enjoyed walking down the mountain each day into town - felt very safe and we even found 2 sets of stairs that led directly to beaches, restaurants, and shopping- definitely recommend exploring and taking the walk down. As much as we enjoyed that, we have visited PV before and found ourselves also torn between going out and just staying in the beautiful condo and property. When Tropical Storm Nora rolled in on the last day of our stay and our flights got cancelled, Jorge was extremely accommodating and decided to postpone his own arrival with a group Of friends so that we could stay 2 extra nights and ride out the storm. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and he was extremely responsive and caring- he even sent up people from the building to bring in balcony furniture and prepare the condo. We rode out some of the storm in the dipping pool and enjoyed that too! We could go on forever! The beds were comfortable, towels were soft, condo was sparkling, and amenities were top notch. We’re actually not sure how we will ever be able to return to PV and not stay here. We’ve been spoiled. Thank you for everything Jorge and we hope to come visit again soon. Do yourself the favor and stay here!

If you like sweeping views of the ocean and the city skyline this is the place for you. Uber rides to the beach are very cheap ($2-$4 USD). The space is amazing as well as the balcony with the pool. The main pool has one of the best views Of the ocean I’ve ever seen. Definitely recommending this place to friends.

Had an amazing experience here. 5-star accommodations and very close to town. Gorgeous condo, pools and grounds. Super friendly staff. Wish we could stay longer and would love to return again. Especially loved the quiet atmosphere after staying in the heart of town over Christmas. This place is an oasis, with a stunning view overlooking the beautiful bay and city. Can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend ❤️

Jorge was a wonderful caring host and his condo is beyond beautiful! The main room opens onto the balcony area for one huge panoramic view of the city. Totally gorgeous! I highly recommend this property and we will be back

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Adrianna to the time we left. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We have rented many properties over the years and not all of them start off with someone personally showing you to your rental and providing a brief orientation of the property (including where things are and how they work) ... always helpful when staying in a home you're not familiar with. The only downside (for us) was we may have been too 'dumb' for this listing-described 'smart' home and experienced issues with the Nest climate control ... unbearably hot and at other times unbearably cold ... we successfully re-programmed and then were locked out ... Adrianna stepped in to help but we continued to have issues. One day in the near future Alexa's voice control software may be fault free but we're not there yet folks and it can be frustrating. Tech friendly we are, but sometimes a good old fashioned on/off switch makes me nostalgic! That said, we didn't let these annoyances influence our enjoyment and opinion of this fantastic condo, which has everything you could possibly need. The plunge pool was a welcome respite at the end of a hot and humid day and the views were inspiring. In addition there are two large pools on property and the 'green' pool was serene and felt a little bit like you were in the jungle! We had a rental car but parking in downtown PV is challenging and used Uber daily to get to and from town (abut $2.50 each way), often for breakfast and then back for lunch and/or dinner every night. Initially we planned to use the kitchen during our stay but there are so many fantastic restaurants in PV you are spoiled for choice. If you have time, do yourself a favor and visit the towns of San Sebastian or Tuito. We always love our time in Mexico and if you're considering Puerto Vallarta; highly recommend you stay at Avalon 406. You won't be disappointed!

Wow! The pictures don’t do it justice! The place is beautiful and situated on top of the hill in Zona Romantica. It’s peaceful and away from on the hustle of PV. That said, you’ll be down in the action with a 5 minute Uber ride that cost only $2.50! Very convenient. You could walk to the beach in 15 minutes which we did a few mornings. Also, the private pool on the balcony is bigger than expected and was a perfect way too cool off from the beach or the nice private onsite gym. Finally, I highly recommend hiring Chef Mary!!! Jorge provided us information for a private chef that cooked us an AMAZING dinner during sunset. We ate it on the balcony and was one of the highlights of our entire trip. The food was the best I’ve ever had in my life. Yum! Highly recommended!

Best views, impeccably furnished, very large and completely gorgeous. Oh, and that private pool on the terrace! Building is first class including a state of the art gym. A quick easy and cheap Uber ride or cab to the beach and all the best restaurants. And a nice host who genuinely cares about you enjoying yourself. We will be back!

Best view in Puerto Vallarta. Wonderful accommodations with all the comforts you could ask for. 2 amazing pools on the property, that we had all to ourselves most days. The Avalon is located up on a hill- you are not going to do any walking into town, but Uber and Taxis are plentiful and just a couple of dollars gets you right into the heart of it all. We had an amazing time, hope to return soon.

Stayed here May 29 to June 2, 2018. Not only is the home smartly decorated, it is a "smart" home complete with "Alexa" to give commands to. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you can think of for cooking purposes. The views from every window facing the ocean were absolutely gorgeous. Looking at the ocean and the lights in the city from our evening terrace pool view were spectacular! And fireworks every night! We had the pleasure of meeting Jorge the evening before checking in to 406. Listening to the history of how he bought the home and how he remodeled made me appreciate the place even more! Our overall experience with the home and Avalon was exceptional. Thank you Jorge!

This is a beautiful condominium located in a gated area that has the most gorgeous grounds and swimming pools imaginable. Jorge's place is sparkling clean and the private plunge pool was a real plus. We would definitely recommend this and would be delighted to return.

This condo is gorgeous, the photos don't do it justice! There is tons of space, and the views are incredible from the balcony and the plunge pool. There are also 2 very large pools at the condo that you have access to use. The kitchen is well appointed, and we were close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife, although it can be a steep climb coming back up, it's completely worth it. We will definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed a week at this amazing condo, everything was as described and better. Our favourite was the wide-open master bedroom/bathroom, the plunge pool and the amazing view. Jorge the owner was great to work with, we will be going back.

Amapas is a great place to stay in the Romantic Zone. You get the best of both worlds. The old town feels with the restaurants and shops, and you get a luxurious, relaxing and modern home. It has everything you would need. Jorge was great to work with. He was very responsive and communicated effectively. The home was so easy to enjoy. 40 feet of windows open up to the beautiful 180- degree view of the bay. The private pool is a treat. The furniture is comfortable. You can just lay back and relax. What you see in the pictures is exactly what the condo looks like. Thank you again for letting us stay!!!
