House had ample space. Well maintained and clean. We cooked all our meals here for a week though we brought all our own ingredients. The community pool is directly across the street and very convenient. Renting bicycles was turned out to be great for getting to and from the beach everyday and going around town. The beach is walkable and the unit is essentially where the overflow beach parking would be, but it is still very hot the first week of August. This was not an issue for my family but be advised that this listing is managed by a rental company called The Vacation Company. The service and the property were excellent but be careful that you read the contract and cancellation policy especially which is different than what is specified on VRBO (30 day cancellation on the contract versus 1 week advertised on VRBO).

We loved our stay! Kids thought the bunk beds were amazing. My king bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We biked to the beach every day and walked across to the pool daily. We had one issue with our tv and it was resolved asap. Would love to return to this property! Also, the pond out back had little frogs and turtles that we enjoyed watching.

Great location and plenty of sleeping accommodations for larger groups. Bedrooms great size as well as TVs. Outdoor deck and potential 3 season room would be some nice upgrades. Bathrooms need an update and kitchen could also use upgrade in cookware at this price point. Love location of grill off the kitchen. Still a very enjoyable stay

This property is amazing. It is near everything, pool, beach, tennis and pickle ball. Well stocked kitchen and beautiful decor in this rental. Will definitely rent again!

Kitchen could have been better stocked, very limited cooking apparatus. Need to spray for mosquitos in the home - there were tons and hatchlings, they are somehow nesting inside the home. Other than that,everything was great!!!

Best equipped kitchen we have ever had. There is a Keurig coffee maker even though not listed. Walk to the beach is more like 15 minutes but a nice walking path so not an issue. Our group of three couples all enjoyed our stay at this property.

We had a great time at this property! The living room is very comfortable with the sectional couch...plenty of room for our group of 8. The decorations were very cute and beachy. The property backs up to golf course views, just watch out for the alligators. :) It was nice to have a bathroom for each of the bedrooms, however the upstairs bathrooms were a little small for comfort. There was plenty of storage space and the washer/dryer were very convenient. The kitchen could have been a little more stocked and organized but we made it work. The sliding glass door got stuck but we called maintenance and they came quickly to fix it...great service! It is about a 15 minute walk from the beach but the pool is about a 1 minute walk and it was a nice, large and very warm pool. Overall this property was clean and a great value. We are booking our next stay here ASAP. We had an amazing time. We had everything we needed as far as linens, toiletries, kitchen appliances, etc. We loved watching the wildlife in the lagoon behind the house. The neighbors were all so friendly! The pool was a big hit with the kids. The beach walk was definitely longer than 5 minute, but it was a short bike ride! We had an amazing week here in this home!

This was my first time staying in a property within Shipyard. Absolutely love this area. It’s very quiet and close to everything. The condo is amazing! Love the size of the rooms and the balconies are super nice! The television in the living room did not work when we first arrived, but the rental company had someone fix this within 30 minutes of my call. The master bed is very comfortable. The large televisions were a bonus. The kitchen has numerous supplies for cooking, which was helpful. Only suggestion is to provide more kitchen garbage bags, instead of asking renters purchase these. I am definitely interested in staying here again.

We were looking for a quiet getaway with our kiddos for their Spring Break and we found the perfect place. This was our first time to SC/Hilton Head. Your home was very cozy and spacious! I loved our bed in the master bedroom- such a comfortable mattress and the duvet was just like mine at home! The kiddos stayed upstairs and loved that they each had their own bed and loved the balconies. I really enjoyed walking along the trails around the golf course under the beautiful trees and hearing all of the birds singing! We also loved that you had tennis balls and racquets available! I would highly recommend this wonderful home and we hope to return in the very near future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay in Shipyard was wonderful. We’ve gone to Hilton Head for many years, but this is the first year we stayed in Shipyard. It was a convenient location, and we will definitely stay there again.

We loved the villa & we really enjoyed our stay. It was very roomy and comfortable. Best stocked placed we have ever stayed in! Staff was very pleasant! Check in was a little aggravating! I was told I would get an email with all the check in info. I had received a text message with a link to open. In that it states the code to get in would be emailed to me. However, all the way at the bottom was a lock/unlock button. This option was never explained to me...which is a great idea if you know it is there! I also was told that I would have everything needed before the close of the day and no one called me back. We arrived late thinking that everything was left at the gate. The guard didn't have anything, they had to call and get us a pass printed.

This was our first time staying in The Shipyard. We liked the location of this property and overall liked the condo but the condo could use some TLC. The one major complaint was finding dead and live cockroaches on several different days. Bugs happen, especially in the south, but there needs to be more frequent treatments to keep these out of the condo. Otherwise, the condo had very good amenities. Internet was fast, there was a very nice grill outside, and plenty of seating for 6 adults and 3 small children.

We had an amazing time at this house! As you drive into Shipyard Plantation, you immediately feel at peace as you view the beautiful scenery. This house is a short bike ride or car ride to the beach. The interior of the house is spacious, beachy, and clean. We utilized the fully stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. The back patio has a great view of the golf course and a pond. The house had everything we needed for a great stay! Checkout Pool Bar Jim’s for some fruity adult drinks on the beach. I highly recommend renting bikes and riding around Shipyard Plantation and Hilton Head Island.
