Check in was a breeze- we got in early and the room was ready and waiting! Mark was so accommodating and friendly along with his dog Buddy. We felt right at home and ended up making a new friend! The cabin was immaculate, clean and very inviting. The lake view was amazing and we settled right in quickly forgetting about work and the hustle and bustle of our life. We will definitely be back and highly recommend booking with Mark.

It is a good one room cabin. Great for a father son getaway. Beds were nice, great view of the lake and a very nice kitchen. Ideal for visiting NASCAR garages and museums.

The views from the deck were what you’d hope for at 5 o’clock. Cabin was very clean and comfortable with lots of room. Host and dogs were great companions for a boat ride on the beautiful lake. I’m looking forward to my return visit with family in the future.

5 0’clock somewhere was the perfect couples get away. Mark was a fantastic host ; always available, very informative about the area and allowed us the use of kayaks, paddle boards , floating devices and a pontoon boat ( for a fee). The cabin was perfect for two , very clean, fully stocked kitchen , with a great screened porch to enjoy . Located on a quiet cove in a safe area of Lake Norman. Easy access to town close by for shopping or eating out . We definitely enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again sometime . Thank you Mark and hope the new puppy Buddy is getting used to his new home!

Peaceful, well-appointed property. Lots of privacy on a quiet part of the lake, great for kayaking. Nice screen porch to read and watch the sunset. Close to groceries, restaurants, breweries and Lake Norman State Park for hiking. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

This place is just cool! It's a terrific lakeside getaway to do, or not do, just about anything. Mark has the perfect balance of being a gracious host if you need anything, while also providing you space to enjoy the property. Have a great time, we sure did!

This was a no-hassle quick-turn trip to North Carolina. Having no knowledge of the area we took a chance on this lake property and were happy with every aspect of it. It's a self-contained upstairs unit with lake access and pontoon rental availability. The owner lives next door and unless you need him, he leaves you alone. His pups were a fun addition. I'd love to bring my mom here but the climb upstairs (it's entirely second floor) might be a bit much for her. There were plenty of very good restaurants in the area to choose from. We would more than likely return. Thanks for everything, Mark.

We wanted someplace that was on the water, had a great porch and was comfortable. Check,check, and check! And our host Mark Hall is a great guy and a great source of information and conversation! We will definitely go back!

We enjoyed a peaceful weekend at this cozy little cabin on the lake. We took the kayaks out one of the days and Mark provided us with life jackets as well, and was very accommodating our entire stay. We would love to stay here again when we are back in the area!

Great property, the screened in porch was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. Kitchen was well equipped, neighborhood was quiet. And, the dogs were wonderful. They added to our wonderful weekend.

Wonderful spot on lake. Great dock for our boat. The loft was comfortable with a amazing screen porch overlooking cove. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The outdoor covered patio with television and grills is amazing. Mark was a great host, always helpful and kind. The dogs were friendly and not bothersome. Love the spot and hope to get back soon.

We were looking for a quiet place to get away and de-stress and boy, did we find it! This is the most wonderful, relaxing property. It's situated in a quiet cove with a screened-in back porch that overlooks the lake. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sounds and sights of such a beautiful spot. The cabin is a good fit for two people and comes with everything you need. The bed is comfortable and there are enough pillows that each of us was able to find the best one for our heads to rest on at night. Finally, our host. Mark is absolutely, hands-down the most lovely man and a chill, thoughtful, generous and friendly host. He will be there if you need something but if you don't, you won't see him much. He recommended a place for us to have dinner that was so good, we went twice during our stay. If you're considering a stay at Lake Norman, make this the place you go. It's EVERYTHING we needed for our trip and we will definitely be back. Thank you, Mark!!

We had a absolute amazing and relaxing time at the cabin. Even though it was a bit chilly, we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lake is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is super clean and has all the amenities you may need. Mark, the property manager was kind and answered any of our questions. He was so flexible and accommodating ( i.e., my boyfriend contacted him prior to our arrival about getting wine and balloons for my birthday) that when we walked in, there were balloons, a bottle of wine chilling in a bucket and wine glasses all setup. He also brought down some wood to start up the fire pit. It was very relaxing sitting on the back deck, enjoying the lakefront. We are hoping to return again this summer. Highly recommend!!

Great location, friendly host and beautiful lake. Big kitchen area and nice screened in porch also to look out at lake.
