This home was by far my most favorite rental ever!! So well decorated, very clean, communication was fantastic!! This place was wonderful! The amount of bathrooms was perfect for our big group. They beds and bedding were super comfortable. Would definitely love to stay here again.

We really had a very good vacation and stay at "my beach alibi". The house was very nice and spacious. The pool was warm and the kids love it so much. The house was steps away from the beach. One thing we didnt really like is that there are small cockroaches in the rooms and bathrooms upstairs. Hopefully something can be done about that. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

I would definitely rent from here again. We had more then enough room for 14 people and the beach was closer then we thought with only a 2 minute walk. Not big issues but we didn’t have hot water for a night but they sent someone asap to fix and we did find something under furniture that could have been cleaned up but other then that this place was better then we expected!

This property has many features, overall is a great rental!On the negative side, the patio does not have any shade or cover. Pool and patio usage during the day will be limited due to lack of shade. The big umbrella advertised in the photos was not available at the time we rented. I called the property management twice about this topic, they never return my calls with a resolution.Be aware that the downstairs full bath is basically located in the kitchen, not attached to bedroom as the photos shows. We had a few cockroaches visitors in the downstairs bathroom, inconvenience that can be addressed with pest control.Entry door code expired 20min prior checkout time. Unpleasant surprise since the checkout time was set for 10am not 9:40am.

This property was exactly what you see in the pics and more. Plenty of room for everyone! The private pool was nice at the end of the day to relax and have family time around. The home was also stocked with beach chairs, floats ect which was awesome! Also comes with 2 beach setups. So nice to walk down and they're set up and ready to go! Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs and a ready to use outdoor grill! The walk to the beach is very easy and less than 200 steps.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Check in was easy and early access to house was available. Walk to beach is 2-3 minutes, with only a private drive to cross, which was perfect for our 3 and 5 year olds. Beach chairs and umbrellas set up were wonderful, along with additional unbrella and toys available at the house. House was well stocked and beds comfortable; however, we couldn't find bedding for the trundles and there were no blankets (sheets and thin bedspreads only). Also, not enough bath towels - we just washed them often. Management responded quickly to maintenance issue - we had no hot water and a few outlets in one bedroom not working upon arrival. We called the next morning and repair personnel responded within a couple hours. Earlier reviews mentioned a vehicle being housed in the garage. This was not the case for us. We could have parked 2 cars in the garage, but couldn't get one of the garage doors to raise. Three mini vans fit on the parking pad and additional parking is available inside the secured community at the front gate. We were unable to obtain pool dimensions from management, prior to arrival. This was frustrating, as pool size was very important to our 10 and 12 year olds. We have stayed at another Shipwatch property in the past and were aware that some of the homes have more of a wading pool versus a swiming pool. I was pleased to discover, upon arrival, the pool at My Alibi is approximately 4 feet deep and measured 9 feet by 18 feet. This more than satisfied all of our children from ages 3 - 12. It would have relieved stress could we have received this information earlier, seems insignificant unless you're 10. We reported a pipe issue that wasn't huge to us, but hopefully will be addressed for future stays. Occassionally, the pipes make an annoying high pitched "screech" when flushing toilets, taking showers, etc. It didn't impact our stay, but we reported for future maintenance. It was a fantastic property in a great location, close to grocery, shopping, and resturants, but not in the middle of the heavy Destin congestion. This is our favorite community and would gladly rent My Alibi again. Evenso, I wanted to leave an honest review that included a few points that managment may want to consider to make the property even better!

We had stayed in this neighborhood before and we loved the private beach so you don't have to deal with the crowd. That is why we came back! Lots of beach toys, chairs and even an umbrella in the garage, so you don't need to bring any of that stuff! Blankets on the bed are thin so if you get cold at night I recommend you bring a blanket. Other than that it was PERFECT!

Overall this is in a great location and such a short walk to the beach. We had a great week and enjoyed the pool, too.

We Loved my beach alibi, just steps from the beach, and big enough for 17 members of my family. We did a lot of cooking so we appreciated the nice kitchen. Having 2 refrigerators was a plus. We had an amazing time. Would recommend

Our stay was perfect. We love the Shipwatch neighborhood. We spend a lot of time at the beach so the proximity and ease of walking to beach is important. This house also has a great backyard with a pool that was warm due to sun exposure. We didn’t feel the need to heat it in May. Home is nicely decorated. Check in was a breeze. We had zero issues during our two week stay so no need to communicate with property manager until we texted our departure. We hope to return and highly recommend.

We had a large party, approximately 20 people. We had no trouble fitting everyone. The house was bright, clean, and fully equipped to host. I think the last people to rent the property didn't clean the grill out because when we went to use it, it was quite dirty. Also the linens had sand in it when we arrived. Other than that, we had a good time.

This was an absolutely gorgeous home. It honestly was much larger than we needed for our family of 4, but the location and amenities of the home convinced us that it was worth the splurge. We were right! The beach chair set up was perfect and the short walk (to and from) allowed our kids to come and go from the beach to the house as needed. The home was perfectly equipped and had more than enough amenities to last the week. We did purchase trash bags and paper towels out of habit, but otherwise we had everything we needed. We had a couple of minor issues— the guests before us left the home in terrible condition and the cleaning crew cancelled on the property manager, so we had to wait longer than normal for check in (to allow extra cleaning time); however the manager was extremely gracious and kind and didn’t mind us waiting on the pool deck while she cleaned. We also paid to have the pool heated, but When the pool maintenance staff arrived they told us that due to the exceptionally warm weather, the pool heater would never turn on. He suggested that we not be charged for the heating since it would not actually operate. We asked the management to remove the charge, and have not had follow up on that yet. It’s possible that they refunded the charge and I didn’t notice it, but I assume that it will be taken care of when I inquire more. Other than those two very minor issues, we absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home. We will definitely choose it again if we return to Miramar Beach.

House is beautiful just like the pictures.. but bed sheets were dirty, they had like cat hair. Other than that everything was perfect.

The property, location, beach access was awesome! The only negative aspects was that the house was very dirty like it wasn’t cleaned at all. We cleaned the house so we could get all set up as sand was all over the floors and the counters had to be wiped clean. And the pool wasn’t clean either. The pool guy came out right away and did his job. He said he would be back mid week. Never showed up however. We really enjoyed our stay but we’re disappointed we had to pay so much for cleaning when it wasn’t clean when got there. I would recommend this as a great place to stay if mgmt would take responsibility of making sure these issues are addressed.

We all were amazed when we walked through the door!!! This gorgeous house looks exactly as pictured and was spotless. Located in a gated community, we felt very safe the entire time and its a quiet area. Probably 2 to 3 minutes walk from the private access beach. We were grateful for the reserved 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas whenever we went during the day. We did have to call the Host about the beach setup, but that's only because the beach attendant didn't have his info correct. After speaking with Beyond Blue Vacations, the promptly handled the matter and we had no issues the next time. The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you'll need, though I prefer cast iron over non stick pans. I do wish there was a stainless steel kettle, but still not a huge deficit. The blender was good to have. The layout of the bedrooms were perfect. Our kids loved the bunk room upstairs and the master bedroom/ bathroom (huge tub) was perfect!! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well and nice outdoor dining space. The kids found the games in the cabinet near the dining table indoors so that was fun. They also provided pool toys in the chest beside the pool and beach toys in the closet inside the garage. Bring your own beach towels. Wifi worked perfect even with our 7 devices being used. We absolutely love this house and would definitely stay here again!! The perfect vacation house.
