Owners of the property are super helpful and accommodating. The porch and dock was amazing! We had our boat but much prefered to hang out on the dock and swim. Only downfall was cameras on the property so we felt like we were being watched all the time.

Loved the deck and dock. The cleaning crew can do a better job. The refrigerator drawers were completely filled with condiments. Didn’t know if we were supposed to use them or not. The pictures on the website weren’t exactly correct.

The location of this property for us is great. It’s close to Savannah lakes, Elijah Clark and Soap creek. The back porch is probably our favorite part. We actually thought about sleeping there a couple nights. Great Place!!

A cool day and a rainy day were just as great as the sunny day thanks to the outdoor living space on the deck. The patio fire pit on the huge covered deck allowed grilling and peaceful views of the lake. The kitchen was small but not a problem for our 3 night stay. Check in/check out was easy. We also loved the dock. We used the neighborhood ramp to unload but the nearby Elijah Clark State Park ramp to load.

This is our 2nd stay at this home and the owners continue to make fabulous upgrades to the property. The new deck was amazing. Clean and comfortable home, close to several boat ramps. New dock is great! Our family has enjoyed both of our stays here and look forward to returning again soon.

Visited for Masters week for a guys trip. The property is absolutely gorgeous with a wonderful covered deck/patio overlooking the lake. We cooked on the griddle and grill and enjoyed spending time outside on the deck. Fishing from the dock was great as well and the two golf courses we played were nearby. It was an easy 50 minute drive to Augusta National. We hope to be back soon.

My family couldn't have been happier when arriving at the cabin! We had cold weather during our Christmas stay, which made it feel more like Christmas!! The cabin was warm and cozy, very comfortable beds, and a stocked kitchen. The deck was very large - on our next visit, we will utilize this space more. We did cook out on the gas grill many times. We went fishing from the dock and managed to catch a fish! We are already starting to talk about planning our next visit - we will definitely be back! The color of the sky at sunset was very beautiful! Our fur babies had a great time too...oh..and we saw a deer! We thank you for sharing your cabin - we hated to leave!

The hosts are amazing and have thought of everything needed to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already making plans for a return trip!

Our family just returned from a long weekend spent on Clarks Hill. The new owners have done a great job updating the home and furniture . The home is clean and much more spacious than you would think. Kitchen is well stocked and we had no issues cooking several meals during our stay. The owners were quick to respond to any questions prior to our arrival and check in with us to ensure we had no issues upon arrival. We look forward to staying here again when in the area.

This house was a great location for four middle-aged men to go to the Masters and play some golf. Scott was responsive to our questions. We appreciate the recent upgrades. The internet was out for a day due to storms, but that was not the fault of the hosts. We'd stay there again. Thanks for the great visit!

We rented this house to stay and it was a magical hot tub time machine that blasted you back circa 1990’s. Seems like they made a movie about this but the movie lacked an owner that was in denial about the 1990’s styled house complete with a tube tv, sliding glass doors that would trap people in a fire and beds that were filled with rocks. The great was the location and the setting the bit so great was the house and bed. We ended up cutting our trip 2 days short due to the beds. If you love the property and your back rent it just BYOB bring your own beds. The owner said he’s never had and issues and argued that people love the beds. Perhaps an inmate stayed here and raved about the beds. Idk but good luck.

From the start, I was told check in procedures that were inaccurate. I ended up waiting around an hour after check in time to get key from owner. I attempted communication with property lister days prior with no response. I told owner that I would like to use hot tub, be she advised it wasn’t working. This was the biggest reason for me selecting this property.

We absolutely loved this property. The cabin itself was great, on a big plot, right on the river with a dock. We tried some fishing, caught a turtle. The fact that they allow dogs is fantastic. The cabin is a great size, unique shape, and definitely has a lot of potential. We left our stay 2 days early because the beds are absolutely terrible. Very uncomfortable and noisy. My feet hung off the edge of the master bed upstairs. I know people have commended that there should be a king size bed upstairs, and I fully agree. The owners have responded that people will fight over who gets the master, but I 100% disagree with that. No family would fight over it, and friends would have the opportunity to decide on that ahead of time because this information gets listed in the VRBO ad. You can get memory foam mattresses on Amazon for very little money these days. For the cost of our stay, the beds could be upgraded and 32" TVs could be put in each room for families who want to play video games together, or for those who like to fall asleep with a TV on. We were unable to hook up game systems to the TVs because they are very old and don't have the right connections. Some reviewers complained about the cookware...this is something to be aware of, but really not a big deal. Although, this is something that could be upgraded for very little money as well. We didn't really care too much about this aspect. For some reason there was an old, broken, rusted out grill sitting next to a much newer grill on the deck. Why leave this there? It just doesn't make any sense. Should've been thrown out a while ago, probably. Also, there are no grill cleaning utensils (like a brush and scraper). Something to be aware of so you bring your own if you like to grill. We also found no trash bags, so we made due with a single trash bag for the week. When we went to empty it in the garbage bin outside, we found 1 trash bag inside the garbage can in the cabin under the existing trash bag. Why not just have a box of bags under the sink? We washed all of the dishes by hand. Not a problem at all, but it was stated that there were pods for the dishwasher under the sink. We did not find any pods, and there was what appeared to be a used pod in the dishwasher. The deck is in need of repair. We found many nails sticking out all over it, as well as unsecured boards that would move when you stepped on them. With new beds, we would have stayed the entire time and would return happily.

We loved the location and the cabin was beautiful! We fished off the dock and caught a few fish. It was cooler than we thought it would be but still nice since we are from South Georgia! Only thing I would recommend would be to update the TV,s. We getting old and would have been nice if they were big flat screens. Thanks for letting us stay!

We had a great stay and caught some fish, even though it rained everyday but Monday. Just FYI- The deck gets really slippery when wet so visitors need to be careful when walking around on the deck after a rain.

Loved staying at this property. The house was super unique. My friends & I enjoyed the hot tub. & the dock is super nice. We caught 4 big catfish right off the dock. Would definitely stay here again & would recommend it to friends & family.

Great place to stay. I recommend it to anyone that would like a lake side visit. My son and grandson went out on a boat to fish. Great catch of stripped bass.

The cabin was quiet and very private. It was a short walk to the water. It has a boat slip that is covered that we parked our pontoon under. The owner Jerry was extremely nice and available to call when we had questions. The house was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time staying there.

The cabin was in a wonderful location at the lake. There were some things that needed to be taken care of (nails up in boards, dock boards) that were relayed to owner. There were some things I would have liked to be a little better but nothing major.

Great location, could of been a little cleaner and more maintenance done.
