Water front property is not water front. Trial to OUR dock is not properly marked. Ended up going to the wrong dock and neighbor was very angry after telling him it was a mistake. Multiple trails tie into the same trial leaving you unsure where to go. The trail was not golf cart friendly and would not recommend using one. AC was set on 78 and took 1.5 days to cool off which at that time it was time to leave. House is very out dated and nothing is level. It’s so un-level that the back door barely opens. House is not marked with numbers when you pull in common drive way, making you unsure of the correct house. The refrigerator doesn’t get cold and we had to use coolers.

Big enough to accommodate most of the family. Hauled our boat and dragged kids around the lake, played/swam til all were worn out. The front and back porches were great for visiting and watching the kids. 2nd time renting this location. Owners were very responsive to a bit of an issue. Would come back again if the family wants to.

Nice place and as advertised. Nothing fancy, but clean with plenty of room for a large family. Large rear deck with a few minute walk to the lake. No to little signal for an AT&T phone. Verizon had good service.

Very nice but could use some upgrades. Drive way needs work on it. I would stay here again.

The lake house was clean, beautiful and spacious. My children and grandchildren had a wonderful time; we’ve been coming here for years and would definitely recommend!

As was said in other reviews, the house is very dated and could us an update, but, we were not interested in what the house looked like. We enjoyed staying in the house, it accommodated my family very well! The upstairs was perfect for the younger family members and the downstairs bedroom was also perfect for us seniors. Our pontoon was quite happy at the dock as was the kids. We would want to stay again next year for our annual family vacay.

This was a great place for a get away with family. We had a large group (12) and slept comfortably. The back deck was a wonderful place to sit, eat and talk. The walk to the dock was a little overwhelming, so it is necessary to have a golf cart if you have older persons. Dock was perfect for fishing and swimming.

We had a family reunion in the area and stayed here. It was perfect for our wants and needs! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The property listing described this place perfectly. This was a bucket list trip for 4 old guys. We used this as a hub for our golf outing, playing 2 courses at Savannah Lakes in South Carolina and finishing it off at the Monday practice round at the Masters in Augusta. As other reviewers have stated it is dated but we found the property clean and comfortable. We had separate bedrooms which had comfortable beds and the air conditioner combined with the ceiling fans made for a good night's sleep. We did not hike to the lake nor did we do any cooking or grilling on this trip so I can't comment on that. Our host was very easy to communicate with. The only issue we had as others have said was our GPS could not find the place. We arrived around midnight so it was really an adventure but we were finally able to locate the house. If we ever have the opportunity to go back the area I would definitely book this place again!!!

Just a lovely stay! We weren’t there for pleasure but a stunning wedding. Excellent communication, plenty of room layout options with everything you need. Would stay there again!

The ratings was terrible not good at all it was a rip off.

It was very relaxing. The walk to the water while not overly long has a lot of roots that can be a stumbling hazzard so just be careful there. We completely enjoyed our stay!!

Once we finally located the place (GPS tries to take you the wrong way twice), and killed/relocated the spiders nesting around the front door, we had a good stay. The spiders were all granddaddy long legs so not dangerous, just annoying because there were so many. Its a descent hike from the house to the dock so recommend bringing/renting a golf cart.

Spent the weekend with our family of 5. Everyone had a separate bedroom plus there was two twin beds in the upstairs commons area that we did not use. The boat dock has some damage from a recent storm, but the property owner was there to immediately fix it for us. We were unable to rent a golf cart, but definitely will for our next visit! Ants were our only complaint. But that was our fault for leaving the cookie container open!

Great quite get away

The house is in a good area. It has plenty of space. The host is very easy to get in touch with and responds fast.

Aperfect place to stay if you're wanting some peace and quiet. A lil outdated and could use a real deep cleaning. Seems like the cleaning service just puts things back in place and doesn't actually clean.

Enjoyed our stay and especially the dock at the lake.

Large comfortable home. You feel like you are in the mountains it is very wooded. Getting to dock a little inconvenient but would stay here again

Other than the unexpected heavy rains driving into the place it was so wonderful. Plenty of room to gather and enough beds for everyone. It was very clean. Loved the setting in the woods and near the water. Didn’t find a garbage can near the entrance when we left so we left the garbage in the garage. All the notes in the house were very helpful. Would recommend this place.

Not very up to date. Reminded of my grandmothers house in the 80s, but instead of an outside antenna you have basic cable that gives about the same number of channels. Had to watch the NCAA Championship on a tablet. It's perfect if you like getting away from everyone it located at the end of a road on the backside of the lake in the middle of nowhere. With a little love and attention it would be a cozy getaway if you like solitude. Btw the heat was out. It was 48° inside Mon and Tues morning. Lots of potential needs a few updates

The house is beautiful!! So peaceful!! The lake is a few minutes away but the hike is nice and the rain is beautiful to see. Definitely a do over!!!

The house was a long walk to the dock . Would recommend a Goff cart. We thought the cleaning crew could do a better job for what we paid. there were still coffee grounds left in the coffee machine and mold growing on dishes in the dish washer. However, that was a easy fix and we enjoyed the quite time we had with our family. I would rent it again.

Great stay, plenty of room. Would like to come back in the spring.
