Nice new hotel, friendly staff. They have private parking and they also suggested to park my motorcycle under a camera. It was safe. A few cats guarded it all night :-)

The breakfast is a little strange with french fries...

The friendly welcome. The reception staff certainly deserves a positive mention. The room is basic and clean, which you can expect. As requested I had a quiet room at the rear of the building, which I greatly appreciated

Downer is definitely the breakfast. Two teenagers are apparently responsible for this and are not interested in what they are doing. The breakfast itself is also nothing (a plate with some "things") and the coffee is instant coffee (with milk powder and sugar included. Very unfortunate for a coffee country like Turkey). Serve a nice breakfast (with a friendly smile) and you have a great hotel within its category (between two and three stars).

it’s the choice between fresh air or quiet night. an open window is the only ventilation in the room, the street outside is very busy

There are building works on site with continuous noise and regular loud bangs incl through the night . Added to this, the A/C was broken which together made sleep impossible. It was simply TOO hot to sleep with no a/c. I left in the morning extremely tired. I reported the broken a.c. and was simply thanked for telling them but nothing at all by way of apology and or compensation. Who wants to sleep in a building site. And with no a.c. NOT me.

for 5 person only 2 beds?

The rooms are smaller and different than shown on the pictures. There were a lot of hotel guests making noise at the hotel (also at night), while hotel management did not say anything to these guests to keep the volume down. The airco was leaking and making dripping sounds all night long. Breakfast was very basic and poor as well. They are also renovating the hotel, so construction sounds all day long. All in all not what we expected, based on all the positive reviews. My advise is to look for another hotel in the neighborhood.
