The Shabby Chicken was right in the heart of KW and allowed us to walk everywhere we desired to go. The parking spot was a nice bonus. The unit, itself, was as described and clean. Marie was great to work with.

Wonderful stay! The location cannot be beat. The condo had everything we needed. We have visited Key West multiple times staying in the Truman Annex, and this is a favorite. We really liked being on the first floor but only wish the early morning weather would have cooperated to allow us to enjoy the back patio for morning coffee, as it is a very nice area. Marie worked with us on the arrival time and departure. We could not have asked for more. We look forward to visiting again and hope the Shabby Chicken is available.

We really enjoyed our stay. Truman Annex is right in the heart of Key West, was able to walk to everything. Comfortable home with all the extras, beach towels & chairs, cooler. The pool was cool which felt great on the hot days. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay! Our family of 5 (with 2 adult children and a 10 year old) had the perfect amount of space to spend the week. The condo was clean and nicely prepared for us, even with an air mattress for our 5th person. The location was AMAZING. We walked everywhere we needed to (except Higgs Beach because it was 1000 degrees but that was technically walkable too). Mallory Square and that area of town was a quick 10 minute walk through the gated community. We rented a car but it sat unused almost the whole week- we know for next time that a car is not necessary. The pool was a quick walk and temp controlled (“chilled” for our hot July visit). Highly recommend this rental!

Shabby chicken was perfect in so many ways. Perfect location (5-10 minute walk to everything), perfect neighborhood (Truman annex), perfect size for our family of 4. Property had everything we needed, beach chairs, beach towels, beach cooler, washer and dryer, large deck and backyard space. This property is the best of what Key West has to offer.

The Shabby Chicken was even better than we had anticipated! The space was bigger than expected, clean, and had a great layout. We walked all over the island and the Shabby Chicken was a perfect location for our home base. I hope to stay here again the next time we make it to the Keys.

Great spot near the main entrance to the Truman Annex. From there, easy walk or bike to nearly everywhere. Owner was very communicative and responsive well before our arrival.

Location was great, walkable to restaurants, shopping & action on Duval street. It’s located in a safe & quiet area. Condo was clean and well stocked. Nice patio out back. Contact with owner was great, giving recommendations for the Key West area. Check in was easy. I highly recommend this listing and would stay again. Loved it 😊 .

The condo was perfect for our stay. It is beautifully updated and decorated. There is a back yard that has a deck and patio area and has beautiful tropical plantings. The condo is located in a very nice complex with a nice pool area. It is close to many restaurants and activities. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! I highly recommend this condo!

This condo was excellent -clean and very comfortable. It was in a quite neighborhood but so close to all the action. We did not have a car for the week only bikes and we were minutes from Duval Street, waterfront restaurants and the beach at Fort Zachary State Park. The hosts were excellent and very responsive. I would definitely stay again! Thank you.

We loved our stay at the Shabby Chicken! It was the perfect location, being a short walk away from the water/sunsets and also to all the action on Duval Street. The condo had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the back patio. The Truman Annex was a really nice complex for pool time and walks through the neighborhood. The owner Marie couldn't have been any better as a host. She shared suggestions on what to do in Key West and offered advice throughout our stay. We hope to be back soon!

Shabby Chicken was a delight and—despite the name—there is nothing shabby about it. It is located in a beautiful community with easy walking to the main attractions. The beds were comfortable. Many amenities were provided so we didn't have to buy them - things like dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc. All of us took advantage of the pool which we walked to through the beautifully landscaped property. Marie responded promptly to our questions and was very accommodating, making our stay worry-free. If I ever return to Key West, I would definitely stay here again.

You love the large deck and perfect place to get your morning off to a terrific start. Lots of sunshine.

2nd time staying here. Marie is great to work with. Karen does a great job cleaning. The TV in the main bedroom did not have a cable signal, but not a huge deal. Great stay!

I traveled with my spouse and adult daughter and this place was perfect; 2 bedrooms with King beds. The location is perfect, close to Duvall St., but far enough away that it's quiet. It's also close to Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park which has the best beach in Key West. We rent bikes and avoid car parking - everything is close by. There are a lot of extras in this place that make it great. We found the fold-up chairs really handy to take to the beach. The condo was super clean and quiet (we had nice upstairs neighbors - I realize that can't be guaranteed). Marie (the owner) was very easy to communicate with and the lock box made it easy to get the keys initially. My daughter is vegan and we worried a little about restaurants, but found several that had good options for her and for us as well. I can think of nothing negative to say!

Good location. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen appliances are newish and all work well. Small layout, unable to open some of the cabinets all of the way. The owner did let us check-in early since there was no one staying the day before and it was greatly appreciated! The washer/dryer in the unit is not what is pictured. With the setup now you can only open up the dryer a few inches to get your stuff out. The grill is missing the starter and the side tables are missing. There is no fire stick to start the grille. Constant smell coming from the bathroom, probably a building issue, but should be noted.

Very clean, easy to find, great communication. The Hosts worked with us with our flight times which made our first and last day more enjoyable.

Very clean, and beautiful condo. Very close to everything. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need! The beds are comfortable. We stayed with our teen boys and it was perfect.. I highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The owners were very responsive to questions prior to and during our stay. Very accommodating and welcoming. You can not beat the location of the condo. Close enough to Duval and also to the beaches at the State Park. This was our first time on vrbo and these owners made it all very easy. Neighborhood pool was a nice place to hang out during the hot days and was close to the house. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying here. While some pieces of the property seem a bit worse for wear, overall it was lovely and just what we needed. We didn't drive at all during our stay and still had access to the boating options and restaurants anyone could possibly want.

This home has everything you will need. Pool, beach, cool retreat for a great vacation. Walking distance to all the great restaurants and entertainment. Would rent this property again.

We have been staying in Key West for 17 years and usually come twice a year if not three. This place by far has been the best all categories including the price. I hope that we able to stay at this location every time we are in town.

The rental was exactly as described, and within walking distance of just about anything you would want to see. The Truman Annex itself is simply beautiful and serene. The pool was rarely even half full which made it nice for me to go down in the afternoon for a while also. We had rented bikes and used those for a few days for areas farther away. We had arrived about 10 min before check in on day one and the housekeeper wasn’t ready for us so we did leave and come back about 1/2 hour later. It gave us time to walk around the annex and she was very kind about it. She didn’t make us leave. Hope we didn’t scare her too badly when we walked in! 🤦‍♀️😊

Host is terrific and the location was very convenient to reach most locations in Key West.
