My family of 4 really enjoyed this spot. The House fit all of our needs for the 5 days we were there. Having the golf cart was a huge amenity; it was so nice not to have to rent one from Ocean Lakes. Shower out back came in handy for all our trips out to the beach. Loved the front porch where we could hang out and watch tv together but still be outside. Not brand new, but we didn’t need all that! Lots of space to be a smaller home and it was decorated nicely, which made it an enjoyable “home away from home”.

The property was just as advertised! It was equipped with everything in the kitchen from some seasonings to utensils for the grill. It was perfect for us and our 3 kids! We enjoyed the golf cart for transportation to the community amenities and just cruising around. Hated that Hurricane Debby cut our trip short because we thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had a good time in oceanlakes at this property. lt was real clean and housing was sufficient for us. We had a little problem with golf cart but it was taken care of pretty quick.

The property was amazing. The listing was very accurate. We loved the roomy front porch. Host was helpful and responded back. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Overall the stay was good. The house was clean. As other folks mentioned the house did smell good. The kitchen cabinets are a mess and need to be organized. It’s hard to find items. The kitchen knives need to be sharpened we could hardly cut a tomato with them. This was a lesson to us to bring our own knives. Our last day we noticed the golf cart battery was not charging. We sent a message via VRBO to the host. They never responded back. Not sure if there was an issue with the messaging system in VRBO. We had to rent a golf cart from Ocean lakes for the day which was no problem. We hated this for the folks coming in behind us. We would have been happy to take the golf cart to the service shop to be fixed so the folks coming in behind us didn’t have to encounter this issue.

The property was as described and pictured. Melissa was absolutely wonderful with communication and assistance with our stay. My daughters had a wonderful time. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

One of the best houses we have every stayed at. The house was super clean when we arrived and smelled amazing. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. The porch was perfect! I will book this place in the future!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The street was quiet. This was our first time staying at Ocean Lakes and we plan to go back for another visit in the future and stay at the same house. It was also nice to be able to take our two fur babies. The porch was great to sit and relax and a perfect place for our dogs to be out there with us because it has a gate. I highly recommend this house and we're ready to go back for a longer stay next time. Also the owners were very nice and would respond back to our messages within 10.

Our family enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again. We often have stayed in houses on stilts to ensure we have adequate parking, but truly enjoyed this house being “ground level” when we were loading in all of our luggage and supplies for the week! Beds were comfortable and the layout of the home allowed everyone to have time to themselves when needed. The porch house almost all of our meals and several card games. The kitchen was small and a minimal cookware was provided- so next time I will know to bring a some of my own cookware. The sheets that were provided were a little uncomfortable on sunburned skin- so next time I may bring something softer.

We reserved from 4/19/23 to 4/27/23. Loved the house and golf cart so much we extened our stay until 5/1/23. The owners take pride in their properties at Ocesn Lakes. i appreciate being able to have our fur babies with us too.A micro storm passed by and the owner drove by to check on us. Thsts great service. The house is larger than the pictures show. The kitchen is fully equipped. Oh...The covered porch is PRICELESS.😎👣

Booked 3 nights at the property. Room sizes were larger than appeared in pictures. Beautiful front porch. So much fun to have the golf cart. Home was very clean and well maintained. Only disappointment was that there were no fitted sheets and the laundry did not include sheets for the king size bed

We wanted a place to house me, my husband, my mom and my adult son and this place was perfect. Bigger than I expected and enough room for everyone to be comfortable- even the pups!!! We were able to spend Thanksgiving at my other son's home and have a short drive back afterwards. A Wonderful Thanksgiving and many fun memories. Thanks!!!

The house was wonderful, very clean, smelled great, loved loved the porch <3 taking our 3 year old daughter treating or tricking was so much fun and the people passing out candy was amazing.. A trip will be planned again for next year <3

The front porch was my favorite place to be. It was nice. Wish we could have gotten in earlier because we had to sit in our vehicles for 6 hours. We stayed at the Sandy Mart in our cars. We have a dog so we couldn't go anywhere or do anything. We did it but it would have helped us out a lot getting in earlier. I was willing to pay for a whole extra day. It was just hot and we were tired. Really would have helped out a lot. I got my hopes up when the owner said she would see if they could clean it early but never heard a word..dissappointed..

Overall a nice, quaint little bungalow. Within reason to water park and beach. Plenty of space with 3 BR and 2 BA and important to know allows pets. We enjoyed our stay here!

My favorite
This is our third house at ocean lakes and this was our favorite. Very dog friendly, accesssble, cozy, comfy, and just all around easy. We would definitely love to stay in this house again, thank you Melissa for the hospitality it was a fantastic vacation for us! FRONT PORCH IS AWESOME!

Beach trip
Property is described well and the use of the golf cart was great. The place could use some TLC, light bulbs burnt out in two of the three bedrooms, kitchen items needed a good cleaning before use and hand towel holder in master bedroom is coming out of the wall. Beach items are strung all over so you need to hunt for them. All in all we would recommend but the owner should ensure property has a little TLC every now and then. One additional comment- the across the street neighbor is the sweetest and makes you feel at home. She was great :)

everything was nice, communication was excellent. the property manager was extremely helpful when we had a flat tire on the golf cart. the house itself needed a little dusting, prob just spring cleaning. would definitely rent again.

Average but not clean as should be
Renters were very nice and easy to deal with. But house was not as clean as it should have been. Floors had hair on them, shower was not fully clean and microwave was dirty.

Perfect two weeks!
This beach house was spotless when we arrived and the front porch welcoming just as described! We spent the majority of our time there! The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable so we slept well! Everything you could possibly need to cook meals is provided. The house is small however the owners have made organizing your things easy with lots of little places for organization. My grandchildren kept saying we love this house! Owners were easy to reach when we didn’t have water one morning which they called back promptly to let us know it was a campground issue and would be back on soon. Oh and the golf cart that’s included makes everywhere you want to go close by! Definitely recommend this home for small families with pets!

Perfect for parents's 50th Anniversary
Me and my family stayed here for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was perfect! We all loved the house and the amenities. We would definitely rent this home again. Super easy process and were enjoying the gold cart within minutes of arriving.
The only down side was that our vacation was over and we had to leave. Vacation is never long enough!

Love This House
We loved this house. The front porch and the golf cart was one of the best features. The inside is great too. The inside was perfect for my toddler as they are not a lot of decorations in the house he could grab. Communication with the owners was excellent. Thanks for a great stay. Memories for a lifetime
This was our first time of many more to come visiting ocean lakes. We made so many memories & were able to relax from work. The house was perfect size & lots of room. The front porch was a huge bonus & where we spent most of our time when at the house. The only feedback I have is the king size mattress was very uncomfortable & the TV on the front porch was way to hard to watch since it is so high up. Kids loved the water park, ocean & especially the parade & fireworks. Will definitely be coming back & will book with this owner again. Thank you for helping make our family vacation amazing!!

Great porch
This was a very clean and comfortable unit. The air conditioning works exceptionally well.
The front porch is the place we all gathered. Coffee in the mornings to games and TV at night.
The golf cart is a nice addition. . On the more peaceful side of Ocean Lakes, but still close to everything.

Beauty and the Beast
Nicest place we rented at OL and the most expensive. We have been coming for 23 years. There were some staplesin the rug on front porch in front of the door. My husband stepped on them with bare feet. He used his plyers and got them out. Golf cart was old, weak and rusty. For the rental price we paid, there should have been a nicer golf cart. We didn't pay a deposit so I don't know if we'll get anything back from our payment.
