We were all very happy with our stay here. The place was large, clean and well appointed. We plan to return again next year. Highly recommended.

This house was very spacious and had everything that multiple families could need to enjoy a vacation. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked and the rooms were spacious with comfy beds. There were lots of board games and lawn games to enjoy. The highway noises and planes took some getting used to, but we ended up naming a couple of the planes we saw frequently. Kathy was very communicative and showed us the house upon arrival. You can tell she takes great pride in her home. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family had a great time with all the water sports equipment and appreciated the fact that the lawn was huge and away from the water esp. for the little ones. We could play all kinds of games on the property and so much was provided!! Also the open concept kitchen, dining and sitting area was amazing for family gatherings!! Everything was in great working order and our family enjoyed all the amenities.

We really enjoyed our stay - overall, it was really awesome. Kathy was very responsive. I would have given 5 stars for this stay except that the refrigerator broke down during our stay. Luckily, Kathy had a backup refrigerator in the garage, which was helpful but a bit inconvenient. She also had one on order and arrive 2 days prior to our departure.

We loved our stay at Kathy's home. The house itself is really well equipped, spacious, plenty of room for kids to be kids. Ours had a ton of rainy-day fun on the Wii and with the air hockey table. The property is gorgeous, there is great for swimming off the dock (deep and rocky lake, not weedy), and we all loved the boats and water toys. Plenty to do, and we had a fantastic holiday!

Kathy's home is very spacious, clean and exactly what we need for a quiet break. This home was freshly cleaned when we arrived. Kathy is very pleasant and took the time to do a walk-thru with us. The kitchen is very well equipped with pots, utensils and spices. Thank you Kathy for being an awesome host, we will definitely stay at your place again. I really enjoyed sitting on those red chairs and looking out at the lake.

Our group of 9 adults and 2 toddlers had a great time spending a few nights at this spacious cottage. It had a large yard that lead to the nice deck over the water. We spent our days by the water and hanging out in the yard and at nights hanging by the fire pit. Kathy is very responsive, accommodating and also supplied essentials for our 3 night stay. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at this cottage. Great for get togethers of 6 to 10 people. Lovely dock over the water and the deck at the cottage has a great vista.

Our group had a wonderful stay! The property was fantastic, we really enjoyed playing on the grass and the sandy beach entry. The cottage is large and accommodated our group of 3 families very well. Kathy is a responsive and attentive host. Would recommend!

We visited the cottage for the Thanksgiving weekend - the fall colours were absolutely breathtaking! The cottage itself has everything one might need for a larger family stay inside; and a nice outdoor space: a fire pit and a dock that gives great views of the lake in both directions. Would definitely book again!

Everything was perfect. Had no issues. Had more then enough of the essentials to get us through our 3 days/3 nights. Only thing i would suggest is to allow dogs upstairs, due to the face that it's the only spot where the beds are. Especially for the dogs that have separation issues lol.

Perfect cottage for our girls weekend away. I would highly recommend this cottage, it was well stocked with everything we needed.

Beautiful cottage. Large open main floor, room for all of our guests (8 adults, 1 infant). Six bedrooms on the second floor were lovely. Three are very large spacious , easily had room for crib and more baby gear, 3 are average sized bedrooms. Two beautiful porch balconies where we ate lunch, etc. Basement looked like they were in the process of redoing ( it was very clean). It had a freezer (chest style) in the basement. We used the fooseball and air hockey table. Outdoors the dock is absolutely gorgeous and where we spent most of our day. Fire pit was a nice area in the evenings (Some firewood was provided). Lake was walk-in but it had some seaweed on the bottom. Some floats were available to use to float in on the lake. It had 1 kayak and 1 canoe, and a pedal boat we used as well. The owner, Kathy, quickly responded to any questions we had prior to arriving. She left wine and craft beer from local breweries as a welcome gift. There was a second (older) fridge in the garage that worked well. Property is private, the lake is on the smaller side but peaceful. Cottage came with spices, coffee, dishwasher detergent, and some condiments, toilet paper and paper towels, saran wrap, etc. which was nice. There were beach towels and lots of other towels as well. We did bring some bottled water as it is well water. Water was treated, we used for cooking and coffee, but preferred bottled water for drinking. We would definitely like to go back again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked to support our group of 12. We really appreciated the welcome gift, and made great use of the board games and all the water toys. The large yard and sandy beach area were perfect for all the kids. Thanks Kathy!

This cottage was wonderful!!! So clean and lots of space. We had two families, a total of eight with four teens and it was very spacious! Great dock and fishing off the dock. Quiet lake. It was nice to have use of canoe and paddle boat. The cottage was wonderfully clean and it was an amazing week!!

Amazing place to stay. Great owner great place to get away with friends and enjoy the water. So peaceful there. Nice place to go canoeing, kayaking and going put on the paddle boat. Overall the best place I've been with friends and having a weekend away. Definitely a place to go back to.

Met by owner on arrival and presented with welcome beverages! Everything you need in the kitchen. Comfortable and spacious living areas. Huge lawn for game playing. Comfortable beds (with the exception of the double - springs can be felt) with nice bedding and plenty of towels. The dishwasher is wonderfully quiet but isn't bolted in, so it falls forward everytime you open it. The patio door is worn and difficult to operate. Really enjoyed the front porch. Overall a great experience and Kathy was right on top of communications.

Spacious, well stocked, and quiet.

The cottage itself was pretty nice, with lots of bedrooms, living space, and a large kitchen area. When we arrived, the steps were super icy (one of us fell and was injured). Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and it was quite comfortable. The owner was pretty friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. However, the trouble began the next day after we left when she contacted us regarding the state of the cottage.  Firstly, she was extremely angry that we had one extra person during part of our stay. It was our mistake, we should have remembered to notify the owner about the extra person. To be honest, we were not even trying to hide anything we just overlooked it (it was 13 people instead of 12 for just part of the stay). Another issue was that the trash can pedal was bent/broken. These two issues were definitely valid concerns to bring to us to be addressed. However, she then listed off a whole bunch of minute details - can opener and corkscrew not cleaned, bedding left on the couch near the laundry instead of in the laundry room, 2 lights being left on, door to laundry room left open (not even in the rules), etc. We were so surprised because we spent quite a long time diligently making sure everything was clean and wiping everything down. We followed all the "house rules" as best as we could - taking all the linens/towels to the laundry, starting the washer, separating the garbage/recycling/organics and driving to the drop off station, just to name a few things. Bear in mind, on top of all this there is an expensive cleaning fee included as part of the cost. Regardless, I immediately replied and apologized for any inconvenience and offered to pay for the extra guest and trash can. She then replied that she would be taking half our security deposit which didn't at all make sense (I looked up how much a standard extra guest fee is). I politely inquired, and she retorted with an expensive price for the trash can, and extremely inflated price for the guest fee that was completely outrageous and undocumented. She angrily refused to discuss further and stated that she could take more if she wanted. This has been a nightmare to deal with and we are really disappointed. We have only have 5-star reviews as guests and it is our first encounter with something like this. Beware of your damage deposit being used incorrectly and proceed with caution if you decide to book this rental.

We came in for a wedding over the long weekend and couldn’t have picked a better place!!! Kathy was very welcoming and her property exceeds all the expectations of a home away from home. I personally loved the space and access to water. Very fortunate to have found this gem available for the Labour Day Weekend. To top it all off, the weather was impeccable. Thank you

We had a group of 8 adults and three kids, and this cottage was perfect in accomadating all of us. The yard was amazing, with a large dock to enjoy along with a sandy area. We had fun using the canoe, kayak, and paddle boat. Jumping off the dock was fun too. The cottage had everything you needed inside as far as kitchen supplies, sheets, towels, etc. It was so nice not having to bring all of that. Overall my family had so much fun and would definitely recommend staying here with a large group! We didn't want to leave. Kathy was great with answering all questions we had too. Thank you Kathy for a great vacation!

This property is well cared for and well organized. Our family of 9 ranges in age from 77 to 4 and we all agreed that our week spent at this property was truly exceptional. Everything is new and in good working order. Our 4 year old was ready to go back the next day!!!

Our family gets together every summer for “a week at the cottage” and this year we were very fortunate in having chosen Kathy Richard’s beautiful cottage which is located 15 minutes from Parry Sound. The beach area is very safe for young children and the cottage itself is both modern and sparkling clean with everything you need. Thanks Kathy. We look forward to seeing you again next year. RJ

We had a wonderful family week at Kathy's cottage. It is very large, and immaculately clean with lots of space for everyone. A large kitchen with storage and utensils for all of the items a large group needs (we were 9-10). There are 6 large bedrooms, all upstairs on the second floor which were clean with comfortable beds, linens and towels. We loved the large yard perfect for playing frisbee and to play with our dog. The sandy entry area was great but we preferred swimming off the end of the dock. The water was lovely and not too cold. The highway was closer than we expected but the noise really wasn't an issue. The nearby airport was a concern but again, wasn't an issue and in fact was fun for the kids to watch the planes fly close by but not disruptive. The drive was very easy from Toronto and everything you need is in Parry Sound only 15 minutes away. Kathy was an amazing host, she responded to all of our questions quickly and provided detailed information about the property. We hope to go back next year! Thanks, Kathy!

Very cool location with the water planes landing and taking off right on Robert's Lake! Kathy was very easy to communicate with and always quick to respond.
