Enjoyed our stay at Bender’s Cabin. Was a perfect home base for our dirt biking trip.

Our stay was very comfortable and the cabin was fully equipped and beautifully decorated we really enjoyed our stay here and we were able to meet Marilyn. She was very nice. We will be staying here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Benders Cabin. The location was great for our planned outdoor activities in the area. The grocery store was very close. The cabin itself, although a little dated, had everything that we needed and was very comfortable. Marilyn was a great communicator and very friendly.

We went skiing at Monarch Mountain for a couple of days, and it was a pretty easy drive.
We liked the cute little town of Poncha Springs. The house has a very comfortable living room and kitchen to gather in and unwind. Enjoyed the little notes explaining what's what. The enclosed garage is a nice bonus. Very nice place to stay.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. Close enough to Salida and on the way to the slopes! The cabin was clean and well equipped. The host was super responsive and helpful. She definitely went the extra mile! Will definitely stay again.

Cabin was as pictured no issues during our stay at Benders. Glad to have the garage to park in to keep the vehicle out of the snowfall and easy access for loading/unloading. Signs and instructions throughout the cabin.

4 friends stayed at this property for a ski trip. The cabin was perfect for us. Comfortable and had all the essentials. It felt very welcoming and cozy. Access to the garage was a nice touch.

This was a cute comfortable two bedroom house. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. We enjoyed having a garage to park in and not having to clean snow off of the windshield. The owner was very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our visit to the Benders Cabin. The property has a full kitchen perfect for meals. The location was great for visiting Salida and hiking trails.

We were at the center of a fantastic area for seeing fall colors. Bender’s cabin is centrally located for all Chaffee County has to offer and Maryland is the nicest host. Can’t wait to go back next year!

This house was in a great location! The neighborhood was quiet and only 8-10 minutes from Salida. We were in town for a wedding, so we didn’t spend a ton of chill time at the cabin, but everything was very clean. Fair warning, this is a heater only home, so there is no AC. Only fans. Our trip was end of July and we just opened the windows and put the fans in front of them, and never got hot in the night. We will definitely be staying here again! The owner was great and very accommodating.

The cabin is conveniently located to a lot of area attractions. It's well equipped, well kept, clean and welcoming. It might be helpful for folks to know the beds are quite firm which most of us liked. The owner is very helpful, accommodating and welcoming.

We will be back! We loved Bender's Cabin and are so glad we found it. The location is excellent. Marilyn is beyond wonderful. We ate too many of her homemade cookies and came home with a jar of jam! This was the best VRBO we've ever stayed at!

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) love to snowboard at Monarch Mountain, and this little cabin has been a PERFECT home-away-from-home for us. Adorable little cabin, just a few minutes away from Salida and less than a 30-minute drive to Monarch. Marilyn is an absolute pleasure to work with. This is our second time spending our spring break here, and we'll be back again!

We loved our stay at the cozy cabin. I stayed, along with my husband, and our 4 children. It felt like we were staying at a family home. We slept comfortably and the cabin stayed nice and warm. We were even able to do laundry! It is also a great location. We were able to easily access the Monarch Mountain Ski Resort along with grocery stores and restaurants. Marilyn makes you feel welcomed and your visit appreciated. We look forward to staying there again.

What a great cabin for our vacation! Even though the winds kept us off the slope, Bender cabin gave us a great place to make memories and play games. Loved the open floor plan!

My brothers and I stayed here on a dude getaway to ski. We really liked the cabin. It was just like staying at my Grandmas house. Everything you could possibly want or need was there. It was super clean and had plenty of interesting things to look at. 10 out of 10 we would stay again.
