The place is dated but in good shape, typical of condos in this price range. My biggest complaint is the pillows are small and flat. There is no reason not to have decent pillows Otherwise, was as expected and very conveniently located directly across the street from the beach.

Frequent traveler to SPI for beach relaxation and location was perfect just across the street from the beach. Condo met my needs very cozy for a family of 4.

Nice place and location. Just wish it was cooler. We thought we could get away from the heat in SA, but it was just as hot and HUMID. Nothing bad about the accommodations though. Nice place. Thanks

Getting key was no problem, pay attention to exact name of your building. Very Clean and comfortable. A little walk away from beach, overall wonderful place to stay. We will be going back :)

We stayed in July 2022. This property was clean and spacious. We loved having two bed/bath. The kitchen had everything we needed and more (we did easy meals/not lots of cooking). The coffee pot looked brand new and sparkling clean. We picked this property for the location and it did not disappoint. Short walk to beach access 22, perfect view of fireworks by Clayton’s off the end of the balcony, great pool area, Kelly’s pub right down the street! My two year old appreciated the step stool as she used it daily in the bathroom. My only complaint would be the couches were not comfy for lounging (did not pull out the sofa bed). The beds/mattresses were very hard. This didn’t keep us from getting sleep but we were a bit sore from them till we got moving each morning. I would definitely stay again.

You are paying for location, which was great. The condo is very outdated. Too much furniture, you could barely move around the bed or bathroom. Enjoyed easy beach access. So many rules, I guess they’ve had their share of party goers. Would I stay again...maybe.

It was a nice experience. It was really close to the beach. It was a little smaller than expected, but overall it was a nice stay.

We liked this condo a lot. Neighbors were very friendly. Pool was nice. Condo was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed the area and our stay. Would like to give just a couple suggestions to make the next persons stay a little more enjoyable. Maybe add some extra pillows and blankets. Water heater needs addressed took forever for hot water. And 10 am is super early for checkout when traveling with children. Other than those minor things were really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Surfside seems to be well built and solid. The things that could be improved are: Remove the clutter. Too much furniture and dishes for the space allowed. The deck out front is also very full of chairs and benches with little room for anything else. Also the AC closet had a strange gurgling sound that would come and go. Overall we were pleased and would definitely stay again.

Perfect beach location for my family. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and evenings. The condo was close to everything you need or want (stores, restaurants, etc). Just a few steps from the beach access, it was perfect! This comfortable condo was a great place to relax after a day at the beach. Plenty of room for a family to spread out and relax. The electric grill did not work, and we had bought food specifically to use it. Though charcoal grills were available by the pool. The pillows on the beds were not the best and we were glad we had brought our own. But overall, completely perfect condo & a great vacation! We can’t wait to come back and will stay here again!!!

OMG! This place was PERFECT for our family and our dogs. The pics on VRBO do not do it justice at all. Very quiet and peaceful and our doggos loved it too. Whenever we come back to South Padre, this is a definate must stay again. Perfectly close to beach access with a short walk and the hot tub and pool were lovely too.

We loved the place location, which was so close ad conveniently close to the beach. we did not like that the location swimming pool was full of bugs and hadn't been cleaned in a our entire visit. There were also two remote controls that we couldn't use due to them not working or needed batteries. Other than that we really enjoyed out stay.
