Botha House was absolutely incredible. The authentic historical stay was above and beyond our expectations and we can definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves amazing views and beautiful old charm atmosphere. Charles, the daytime manager was an amazing host, filled with knowledge and the gift of great hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here on the last day of 2023 and saying hello to 2024 with the most wonderful breakfast outside in an atmosphere filled with incredible views and beauty. Thank you Botha house for an amazing experience.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The place is great for a weekend away. Pity the rain ruined some planned outdoor activities. My mom enjoyed the gardens and learning about the history of the place. Lovely golf course and club on site.
My room was abit musty, i gather from the dampness caused by the rain. Wifi is problematic and watching TV is dependent on it.

Our stay at Botha House was exceptional! BEAUTIFUL and quiet location, extremely well-kept property, incredible views, a delicious breakfast, and excellent customer service. Parishka was absolutely lovely and made us welcome as soon as we arrived. Charles then took over for the remainder of our stay and what a treat. He truly made our experience a memorable one. We went diving for the first two days of our stay and relaxed for the remaining two days. I really enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the ocean, drinking coffee, and getting some work done on my laptop. My husband and I left feeling refreshed and very taken care of. The golf club across the road has a fantastic and very reasonably priced lunch and dinner - also highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing place. One in a million! The house and the view, the peaceful surroundings! It is a phenomenal place! The amazing history of the place is worth a read. Great service from Charles Pillay. Good trail running or walking paths in the Mdoni forest. Well worth the visit. Wish I could stay longer

Charles was amazing, from the moment we drove into the parking lot, right until we drove off at the end of our stay. Their breakfast was also delicious. Stunning veiws, a gorgeous garden.
The bathroom needs a revamp, it wasn't very clean.

Incredible location with amazing views of the sea from the communal areas. Breakfast was great. Location right next to Umdoni golf club which is a very picturesque course with a nice restaurant.
The room was not very clean and there were stains on the carpet and bedding. We reported the cleanliness concerns but there was no improvement.
We stayed from 24-26 December and only on arrival were told that the room would not be serviced and a cold breakfast served due to staff being given time off.
Would not stay again.

I selected Botha House for the location, and it exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was excellent, and owner and staff were great. Good security. Recommended for a quite get away.

Botha's House offered our family a wonderful holiday in December. We traveled with our 1 year old son, and the staff went the extra mile to accommodate us and ensure our comfort. Charles, the night manager (rather 24/7 manager), showed his love and commitment to Botha's House throughout. An added bonus is strong wifi and a generator. It is situated next to Umdoni Golf course and allows a great view of the ocean and golf course. 10/10

Friendly and welcoming staff. Michaela met us in the car park as we arrived and was very warm and accommodating. Charles was very friendly and made sure that we felt at home.

After a long, hot drive, I was looking forward to a swim, but pool was green. Overall the place needs some TLC

Family room is a bit old and dated. The option for generator being put on instead of just putting itnon to ensure we are comfortable.
