Breakfast was delicious. Also, after complaining I received a partial refund.

Why did I complain? We rated at this hotel one year ago and everything was delightful & restful. This year we made a reservation several weeks before our stay. We had free cancellation until 1 week prior to the stay. Two days before we were due to show up I received an email that simply said, “There will be construction from 8am to 8pm.” We have stayed at many hotels who are actively renovating and usually don’t have an issue with some noise. I emailed back and was assured everything was open and the disruption would be minimal. We showed up and there was an entire new building in construction behind the pool with literally 20 men building, welding, painting, etc. We did not want to lose money on the stay so after being reassured they would be done by late afternoon we moved into the room. I cannot emphasize enough how loud the construction then became. The walls were shaking. Also, we couldn’t use the pool because the new construction was adjacent to the pool and bits of metal and debris were actively falling into the pool water. We left the premises until around 9pm (went swimming in the lake & ate dinner) and when we came back the construction was still in full swing. Again we were reassured they would finish soon. They continued working until midnight! And then at midnight a loud truck backed up to nearly our front door and deposited approximately 100 pieces of luggage in the parking lot in the middle of the night. In what world is this normal behavior for a hotel? No one in our party slept more than 4 hours. The next morning we discovered that a Chinese film production was going to be using the hotel that day, and all the construction and noise was in build-up to that. My question is: why did they allow other guests to even stay in the hotel knowing it was going to be so disruptive? Why not just cancel our reservation? Even with a 30% refund I am supremely frustrated at their bizarre behavior.

Well, the breakfast was super tasty. The location was also good because it was easy to go out qt night and visit different bars and restaurants. But just that.

The pictures look nice but there is a construction in the back of the pool, the pool is nice itself but you don’t feel confortable going there if there could be someone working or if there is dudt everwhere or simply because the pictures will be ugly. I met 3 staff receptionist. Two of them were nice and helpful. The third one was a mess, we asked some questions but his answer was always “I don’t know” and not helpful at all while his colleagues said “let me ask, let me figure it out, let me do a research” instead. Actually > we asked him for a taxy at 6:30 because we had to be at the bus terminal at 7. At the beginning he didn’t want to call but we insisted because the previous receptionist helped us and they were efficient. At the end he texted someone and told us is will pick us up at that time. THE TAXY NEVER ARRIVED, and he was doing nothing, juet looking at us while we were about to mias the bus to go the airport. We walked so fast to make it. He was definitely not efficient and without the will to help.

Very good location and very nice staff. Good restaurant with very tasty breakfast but not only- launch meals also very, very nice.

Unfortunately we had food poisoning when we arrived and spent almost our whole stay in the room. Luckily the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the toilet worked well! Very nice staff and provided amenities like basic toiletries, a couple of bottles of water each day and fresh towels. Fridge in the room was nice. Location was good and restaurant available on-site with pretty good food.

- Music from the restaurant was a little loud and could be heard in the room - No ventilation in the bathroom, only an open window which made it very hot - The fan in room 9 was dreadful and moved at snail speed: luckily there was aircon but we prefer a fan and it was a bit frustrating it didn’t provide more air - There was a huge cockroach in the bathroom which my partner killed

We loved our stay here, the hotel is gorgeous and we loved the pool. There are some really nice swimming spots by the lake that are only a 2 minute walk from the hotel, the staff were very helpful to point these out. The front desk also spoke amazing English! The breakfast was included for us and it was really good and we had a nice choice. I think that they are doing up some parts of the hotel, hopefully a pool bar may be coming soon which would be a great addition!

The property is about a 10 minute walk to the main restaurants so could be a little far for some people

Nice quiet area, spacious rooms and good chill out area with table tennis table, hammocks and swimming pool.

Building work going on next to the pool is the only downside, but we didn’t spend much time there.

Our shower didn’t work, staff gave us incorrect information about tours (said there was no swimming but the whole tour was based around swimming so we didn’t have bathing suits… couldn’t really participate in tour), room was very small and cramped, pool filter not working so the pool was kind of yuck (they just put some chlorine tablets in instead…).

Really pretty and beautiful place, comfortable and very close to a lagoon where we can swim without entrance fee. It is about 10 minutes walk to the city centre where you can find all restaurants. The service was good and staffs were very helpful and kind.

There was a very bad smell from the bathroom & shower which was little uncomfortable.

Pool was barely cleaned if at all. The area around the pool was under construction (lots of noise) hence its all hidden/covered with a big black bash rather than the greenery seen in pictures. Room was much smaller than in pictures. Wifi was pretty bad. Staff spoke little english. No recommendations on things to do in the area.

Nice set up with a good pool and roof terrace with hammocks for relaxing. Good breakfast included.

There are some building works behind the swimming pool so was a bit dusty & noisy if sitting round the pool but this presumably is temporary.

Fantastic location a couple of minutes' walk to the lagoon. On site restaurant & bar which had a great menu and did delicious breakfasts. Our room was clean, spacious, peaceful, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. The pool is excellent (though could benefit from more sunloungers), and we were pleasantly surprised by the other facilities such as bikes for hire, pingpong table, and chill out seating. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough!
