This property was perfect. Easy access to the beach in a not so crowded section of the beach. Will defiantly stay here again.

John was very quick to reply and very thorough. The house is nice but not for couples as it has one master suite and the rest of the beds are bunk style so if you have a lot of singles or kids, that would be the ideal situation. Fantastic deck with part of it shaded. Would definitely recommend!

Took a weekend trip with a group of friends. House was right on the beach, the owners and property managers were the best, and we weren’t but a short drive away from all that the Galveston area has to offer! I would highly recommend this home! Thank you again for allowing us to enjoy your home.

Thanks to this renal we were able to make family memeories that will last a life time kids got to go to beach, pop fireworks, rise off in the outside shower and eat bar-B -Q breakfast was awesome in the kitchen with all accomidations for all ages/. Loved the deck are where we elderly 50-65 year old hung out need more cahirs in that deck it's aresome view of yje ocen and fireworks we took bonoculars to see the kids and teens playing on the beavh but no need it so close. Excellent and kind owners that called back and text very qickly. recommended A Plus people!

We were so happy with the location. Not more than a football field from the beach. We went to sleep hearing the waves crash, it was great! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a vacation rental with a better stocked kitchen. The listing mentions sofa beds, but those were quite well-used, the mechanisms were misaligned from overuse, and the mattresses are the 3” older style. Only 2 of the 3 sofa bed mattresses were even usable, the third is falling apart and badly stained. Also, 3 of the four bedrooms list multiple bed options. One of those 3 is set up in a way that makes it best used by kids, not couples, so be aware when booking. You’re not really getting space for 4 adult couples in this 4 bedroom house. The owner was very responsive to communication. There is some paperwork to complete in addition to paying your reservation, and I would like to have had that a little earlier in the process…trying to deal with that after driving 8 hours the first leg was rough. We did appreciate that when we reported a small issue at the house, he had someone get in touch with us to resolve it right away. We were able to make it work, and we loved the memories we made together. The area is quieter than Galveston, but close enough to access the amenities like the amusement park and restaurants.

This property is amazing we had the best time.

Beach Oasis was a fabulous choice for our family reunion. We had a mix of adults and kids so the various bedroom configurations worked well for us. There is easy access to the beach and beautiful porches for sunrise and full moon watching.

I have stayed at Beach Oasis 2 times now. One for a bachelorette party and most recently a friends and family trip. We had a great time both trips! The house is the perfect location if you have little ones as it is easy to go to and from the beach because it is literally on the sand! Easy to take the kids up for lunch or a little rest. There were quite a few people on the beach but it wasn’t a problem as we got out there early to claim our spot and never felt crowded by other groups! We had the best time and would definitely stay again!!

This place had it all! Beautiful property. Clean and happily inviting. How peaceful and refreshing! The home had everything you could think of. It rained every day but that made it even more beautiful. Watching the storms roll in and then playing on the beach once the rain stopped. We had 3 generations of our family there and it ended up being one of the very best vacations we've ever had! The location to Galveston was perfect and the house was so large yet cozy. All guests were comfortable and plenty of hanging out room in both the kitchen area and living room. The beds and couches were all super comfortable and the linens WOW! So soft that it was hard to get out of bed in the morning. The views were spectacular and the deck amazing in the evening because they were covered out of the sun and had the amazing sea breezes and beach view. Location to beach was perfect, so close! Highly recommend this location. Hope to return seasonally to enjoy all seasons there! Wonderful vacation. Host was super easy to work with regarding check in and answering our questions. Cannot wait to return!

House was well maintained and spacious.

It was a nice large, clean property. I was excited that the advertisement stated beach access. What it didn’t say was that it is packed with vehicles and public visitors. The pictures are deceiving.. There were 2-3 rows of cars parked out front throughout each day and there were large groups of college kids on the beach both nights well Into the early hours of the morning. I was told it was well patrolled but the police never came by. It was unsettling. I didn’t feel Safe. If I had had small children I would have left. Also, there is only one door into the house. No entry from beach side. But now that I know it is a public beach out front, I understand why. This may have been my oversight in reading the reviews, but disappointing just the same.

The location is AMAZING, it made all the little things we had issues with worth it. This place is an older property and definitely needs some TLC. My main issue was the downstairs shower pressure in the guest bathroom is EXTREMELY low. Some of the ladies staying in the room went upstairs to shower because they found it impossible to shower. Which that was an issue because there was already only one bathroom upstairs for eight people. The partition to close off the laundry room was missing a screw and was hanging off, so it was kind of an eyesore. There was no drying rack for dishes if we wash them ourselves so we used a towel to place them on. There was definitely a lack of paper towels and toilet paper. For the price we paid for the place, I would have thought we would be given plenty. When I reached out to the owner he told me they supply on the guest count and give ONE extra roll per bathroom. Then told me there was a store walking distance. Lol Maybe a house full of men could have survived 3 days with 5 toilet paper rolls and 1 and 1/2 paper towels. But definitely not 12 women. So make sure you’re stocked up when you go or you will have to interrupt your relaxation time to go to the store. But all in all it was a nice stay and I would say the pictures don’t do it justice. Also, if you have a large number of people I would take and extra foldable table if you would like to all sit and eat together. We did and he provides enough seating for it to all work out.

Location was perfect, right on the beach with a large deck to enjoy your morning coffee and take in the view. House has a large open area where our family of 18 was able to gather for meals, games, and rest. Plenty of comfy beds without even counting the sleeper sofas. Kitchen was large enough for multiple family members to work on meal prep and we had all the cookware, etc that we required. My only negative was that we could’ve used more towels - kitchen towels, hand towels, wash cloths specifically. The owners were great and easy to get in touch with and they even put up a Christmas tree for us. Overall, it was a fabulous trip and we’re already talking about going back!

The beds had been changed from the photos on the listing which caused some initial concerns but was quickly resolved. The home was very convenient for our group and allowed us all the ability to stretch out comfortably. Home owner was very communicative and responsive with me. Only one snapfu with a missing key for the front door shutter; which really had nothing to do with us, but I like to be thorough and make sure I left things as listed/required. Overall, I was happy with our choosing this location.

We enjoyed our stay at this Galveston property. The house is located at a beach access but it doesn't pose any problems for us.We were able to get a safe distance from the cars. We loved the decks and views.Communication with the owner was quick and easy. We did inform him of broken chairs, toys, etc on the bottom deck which were left by others. views. The grill was not usable but we did bring our own. We had a great week here.

We had a great time. House has easy access to the beach with grocery store and dinning close. We had three 3 year olds and adults up to an 89 year old and all were comfortable and had fun.

We've spent time in Galveston for years and this is the best place we have been to. Proximity and access to the beach are fantastic. Views from the living area and downstairs bedrooms are exactly what you look for in a vacation home. Many houses say they're right on the beach but you have to walk through a gnarly path or get in the car and drive over, etc. Not here - you can walk back and forth very easily. This is GREAT when you have kids. Plenty of room for everyone in the house and excellent layout for spending quality time together. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

The home is everything that we had hoped it would be and more. Home was extremely clean and had everything that we needed to cook with. The home is right on the water, you walk over a little bridge and you are on the beach. There were 17 of us and their was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and move around in the home. The owners were only a phone call away had we needed to call them. We would stay at this home again. Absolutely loved this home!!!!

The name, Beach Oasis, says it all! John, the owner, was so quick and awesome with communications - he is so easy to work with. We have three families of teens (total of 13 people) and this was a fantastic location with great sleeping and bathroom accommodations for our yearly summer vacation. We never felt like we were on top of each other. There is lots of seating for meals, lots of seating out on the main deck and lots of picnic table seating on the car port. The full outdoor shower on the carport really helps to keep sand out of the home and off all your things. The refrigerator/freezer is big - however, the ice maker is not set up to waterline so you will have to buy or make your own ice. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and the electric griddle and Kuerig coffee maker were a hit. The front load washer and dryer are wonderful for a house full of teenagers. The mattresses on all beds were really comfortable to our group. Having 2 jacuzzi tubs was rather awesome. And the best part is you are literally just steps away from a beach area that does not have a lot of car traffic. The mornings and evenings were so peaceful with a full spectacular few of the beach! Great beach house for our family of 11. Plenty of seating for everyone in the large living room, at the large dining table and on the deck. The house was very clean. Communication with the owner was very good with quick response. The location on the beach was great.

Property was just as described. Excellent communication with the owner ahead of the stay as well as upon check-in. House easily accommodated 4 families with kids (seating, dishes, towels, etc). Very easy to access the beach. We had great views both mornings of sunrises from directly on the balcony porch. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. My bed upstairs was comfortable. Owner was very responsive to a few questions that we had ahead of our stay and during our stay. We would recommend this place and stay there again. My sister wanted to immediately re-book for the summer.

well cared-for beach home with excellent panoramic view of beach and surf. A true great room with plenty of table seating for our large group, plenty of sofas and easy chairs for chatting, reading, watching the big-screen TV and gazing at the ocean. There was also a large selection of DVDs and games. Kitchen had everything we needed. (do need to bring ice) Beds were comfortable. Fan in each bedroom effective and quiet. Two new thermostats worked well. There was also a large selection of beach toys, and body surf boards, along with the shallow water disc boards downstairs. We loved our stay! The three bathrooms were a welcome plus!

We had a great time at oasis beach house! The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms and Terrance are excellent!! Location is incredible. Sunrises amazing!!! 🌅 We would highly recommend the wonderful house. We had a great stay!

Our family stayed here for a long Easter weekend. The house was perfect for our group, a mix of adults and children. Spacious, well equipped, very clean, beautifully decorated, and a great location, right on the beach. Exceeded our expectations. Owner communicated promptly, answering our questions with patience, flexibility and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends - our family can't wait to return!

We stayed at this beach house with a group of students that had attended prom in Galveston. The location was absolutely perfect! It was right on the beach with a lovely private walkway to the very clean beach. The house is a 20 minute drive to the convention center and other activities in Galveston as well as a large grocery store. There was plenty of parking. It was quiet because there are not other homes right next to it. The inside of the house was well decorated and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and felt freshly washed. The bathrooms were updated and spotless. The 3 new sleeper sofas in the living area gave additional places to sleep. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, sheets, and blankets for our group of 16. The many comfortable chairs on the large balcony were the perfect place for the kids and adults to sit and enjoy the weekend. Inside there is a very large table with plenty of room for everyone in our large group to sit and eat or play a game. The four bedrooms and the additional sleeper sofas in the living room gave us plenty of options for the kids and adults to have their own space. The storm shutters on the house were so nice to keep the house dark to allow for sleeping in! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, serving pieces, and dishes as well as helpful things like sugar, spices, and coffee. The washer and dryer is very large and new. The owner went above and beyond to provide laundry detergent, shampoo/ conditioner and soap in the bathrooms. The television in the living room was huge! I don't have a single complaint. This was the perfect prom house. Highly recommend for a prom group, families, or group of adult friends. I'd love to come back and stay in this beach house again.
