Very comfortable furniture and beds. Well equipped

First time actually staying on ocean front walk and it was the best. Good time to do it too as it was cold this week so we could enjoy hearing annd seeing the ocean from inside. When weather got good we walked 10 steps and were in the sand. Everything is walkable. We had 8 people ranging from 10-54 and there was plenty of space for all. We cooked often in kitchen and barbecued on deck. We were all able to comfortably watch March madness games in living room or sit on deck and have coffee/ snacks. We watched sunset every night from balcony. We used boogie boards, surf board and had plenty of chairs and beach towels. It’s also great to have a parking space in a garage! Great place and great location!

The condo was great. Everything was like new and well stocked with everything you need. So much fun just hanging out on the balcony watching people go by on the ocean walk. Super close to restaurants and grocery store. Highly recommend.

The location of Lasirena is absolutely breathtaking. We all could have spent all day watching the ocean and people! Walkability to restaurants, grocery and stores was excellent. It is a five star place that is worth a stay with the right mindset. We are pretty laid back group so the ant infestation in the kitchen was approached as a part of a beach front property. However it lowered our rating because for the price, strategic food battles with ants may not be for everyone. Additionally, as mentioned in other reviews, lasirena needs a update inside and a very deep clean. We did notice that things people mentioned in past reviews were addressed…new grill, new dishes and new pots and pans. Our trip was spectacular and we would stay again minus the extra critters! Less than 12 hours after we arrived at the condo there were brown and black ants all over the kitchen countertops. Had to throw away sealed food that the ants had somehow gotten into. Notified the owner, who scheduled an exterminator to come out, which he did. Owner stated that the ants were there as it was warm outside but they have obviously have had a problem in this condo previously as there were two spray bottles of ant/fire ant insecticide under the kitchen sink. Long after the exterminator left we still had ants all over the kitchen countertops and now in the small bathroom next to the twin bunk bed room and the two bedrooms in the back of the condo. The small bathroom shower stall kept backing up. Dining room table chairs and sofa pillows were DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY (have pics)!! Outside grill was so rusted and dirty that it was unusable. Master bdrm comforter was stained and the drapery rod was being held together with packing tape. Master bdrm ceiling fan barely worked, was wobbly, noisy and about to fall off. Two of the bathroom towel rods fell off their hinges. Dirty windows throughout the condo. We hit our head on the hood over the kitchen range many times. No place to store any food except for the refrigerator. No AC and warm. Ended up buying 4 standup fans and a portable AC unit. This is NOT a luxury condo as advertised and we will not be back. Only upsides are the proximity to the ocean, the view, outside patio, number of rooms, garage and beach chairs/toys.

We’ve been coming to mission beach for the last 20 and this is one of the best properties on mission beach. Unbelievable views of the Pacific where you can sit in the bedroom or on the porch and watch dolphins every morning. All the amenities you need for a large or small family. I’m very picky when it comes to homes and this one is perfect! From the management to location to the home itself - you won’t find anything better on the beach.

We loved our stay in Mission Beach! Views from the spacious balcony and master bedroom are spectacular. Slight mixup checking in as the place was not cleaned, but they sent a crew out right away and made things right. Would highly recommend this spot if you are a mission beach person.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location can’t be beat and the space of the home was great for us! We had 2 families if 4 and my Mother in law with us. It had a crockpot so we used that for two dinners while we played on the beach. I loved waking up in the middle of the night and watching Gods beauty in the ocean roar! We hope to come back again!

The accommodations were excellent. Are only complaint was sound from street & board walk from below. Some people decided to park their car at end of street with all doors open with rap music blaring. After about 2 hours we went down and asked how much longer they plan in being there and they left about 20 minutes later. Next night they came back but only stayed about an hour. About 8 young men in condo below had a really good time until 2:00 AM but were gone by our 3 rd night there. I know owner cant guarantee how quiet it will be so we still felt that it was worth every dime and time. Thanks, Kathy

The location was perfect for a family ranging from 2 - 70 years old! We would love to come visit again in the future. Staying here and enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean makes it hard to go home today. Until next time I hope someone else enjoys it as much as we did!

We shared this condo with another family. It was perfect for our group and you can’t beat the location and ocean views. Our only issue was keeping quiet at night when we played games because of those on the 1st floor. Their bedrooms sit under the condo’s dining area. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Location is excellent! Can’t get closer to the beach. Large # of bedrooms was perfect for 8 persons Girl’s Trip. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. People/dolphin watching from outdoor patio was a highlight for us. Could have used more living room seating. There are some stairs as this rental is on the 2nd floor of 3 separate units. We would definitely return to this rental! Thank you for helping us create more wonderful memories.

Our family of 8 adults had an amazing stay at this property. It worked well for all of us. It could use a bit of updating and extra seating inside. We happened to catch several rainy days and we’re happy to stay inside and play games. We wished there were a few more chairs for the table.( only 4) and the only living room seating was a large sectional that didn’t fit all 8 of us. So for movies, some had to sit at the dining table. All in all we had a great time and would return!

First time VRBO user here. Everything was easy from booking to getting in the place. We have rented in Mission Beach before and the book that was left by the owner was very helpful in terms restaurants, things to do and garbage pickup. Weirdly that the garbage filled up even in the winter months ( as well as Summer). I would recommend our VRBO place to anyone.

We enjoyed this rental. Great location. There were just a few comments…the garage is fairly small so if you have a large vehicle just be aware. We were able to find overnight parking on the street. There were quite a few bugs… not terrible, but a little unnerving. Other than those minor items, good times!

Beautiful sunsets every night from deck 2nd floor feels private and safe with little children

The property was accurately represented on the VRBO listing, and was just perfect for our ladies group of 6. Things were well stocked, extras (towels, TP, beach gear, kitchen utensils, etc) were plentiful. But, man, you just can’t beat the spectacular patio and view!! We spent so much time just sitting out on the patio watching all the boardwalk and beach activity. Amazing. We were also blessed with quite a few dolphin sightings! Quite the treat! We would absolutely book this rental again should we return to San Diego 👍

Beautiful views. Across from beach. Great 2nd floor patio for relaxing. Walked to restaurants. Beach toys and chairs provided. Attentive owner handles any issues that came up.

This property is just a wonderful place for family &/or friends. Wrap around balcony was our favorite feature although the king beds were very comfortable and plenty of room and bathrooms/showers for all. The access to the beautiful beach is right out the door and the balcony offers a wonderful spot to enjoy the breeze and watch the people and surfers. No air conditioning was not an issue as the second floor has a wonderful morning and afternoon breeze. Parking is a challenge with more than one vehicle, but we managed to find an additional spot on Mission way. (close) We would definitely stay at this property again. We always enjoy this annual vacation and will continue to stay at this house. It’s perfect for my aging parents plus my family of four. The location is unbeatable to get everywhere and ocean breeze while at home is amazing. The house is well kept and tends to have everything you need. They recently added a new couch and outdoor couch which is lovely. It’s nice to see them start to refresh the house in certain spots. The owners are lovely and always helpful. We’ll be back next summer!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Right on the boardwalk/ocean. Amazing master bedroom and bath. Beautiful views, nice amenities. Both teens and adults enjoyed our stay. Parking is very tight - we could only manage one regular sized car and a motorcycle in the garage, but the owner does make that clear in the listing. Would be nice if there was a little more space to store groceries in the kitchen. We like to cook/bbq for ourselves while on a vacation like this and there isn't much storage available for groceries. Very small complaint for such a nice property.

Our family had a great week at the beach this place was everything we were looking for.

The property is spacious with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is perfect for large families. The master bedroom has an exceptional view with large windows and a slider to the main deck. The main deck is by far the best asset of this property. It is larger than most in the area with plenty of room for your family and has a perfect and direct view of the beach/ocean and the ocean walk. Being on the second floor separates you from the action of the ocean walk, while giving you ocean front outdoor living. A few other bonuses include that you are in walking distance to Belmont Park and Pacific Beach, and Luigis and Instacart will deliver to this property. My family will definitely return to this property.

For a trip to Mission Beach, this condo can’t be beat. The location is perfect—right on the boardwalk. The second floor patio is the perfect perch for enjoying the ocean view. Everything you want to do in Mission Beach and Pacific Beach is easy to get too. The living spaces within the condo are likewise perfect. 4 bedrooms and 3 baths gave us the space we needed for our party. We will definitely be making a return trip!
