Great location, loved being able to walk everywhere. Needs a bit of updating, but over all loved our stay.

House was great, rich with history but updated for a great stay. Right on the back side of Hondos and all the fun night life.

We were disappointed. We thought the antique house and interior was very cute. We felt like we were staying at Grandma's house. However we felt overall the property needs attention to be used as a vacation rental.

The architecture of the house is very charming. The furnishings in the bedrooms and kitchen were appreciated. Instructions for the hot tub would have been appreciated, we didn’t get to use it. Repairs or removal of the broken towel bars in the main bath would be appreciated. I never stayed in a pet friendly rental. The dog smell on the rugs was overwhelming.

The house was beautiful and the location was excellent. We would have liked to have had access to some cleaning supplies (broom, dustpan, etc). As it was, we had to make do with paper towels to sweep with.

Great location. Older home, but everything was in working order. Yes, they really need to rethink the furniture arrangement, but we moved some things around to we could better use the TV. Of course, we moved it back. Checking in and out was the easiest I've ever done. Location is awesome and you can walk to anything you want.

Great location. Hot tub was a plus and was clean. Kitchen was disappointing as dishes were dirty in the cabinets, bare minimum provided to aid in cooking an entire meal, kitchen soap almost empty, and dirty rag provided to clean the dishes. Kitchen sink had minimal water pressure. Management was notified upon departure so that these things can be addressed for next guests.

Loved the location! Could walk to restaurants and listen to live music.

Comfortable and walking distance for all ages to downtown. We did not get a chance to use the jacuzzi but it looked very clean. Will book again.

This house is in the perfect spot to enjoy Fredericksburg. Check in and out was very easy. Everything is exactly as described and was comfortable for 6 adults. There are a few basic things missing from the kitchen but we took a quick trip to HEB.

Bedrooms are great with comfy kings and great pillows. The Bathrooms need updating, the hall bathroom towel rack is missing. The back bathroom shower curtain rod broke as soon as we touched it, and because we were there during Christmas, they didn’t replace it for the stay, so we all shared one shower. The main TV is in the dining room and the living room doesn’t have a TV that’s a bit awkward but very doable. The furniture expectedly ia all super old, but also probably very musty or dirty because we all were having allergies when we were sitting in the living room. They need a deep clean for sure The kitchen was updated and perfect! We also had my beagle and that was great, we did have to leash him every time he needed out though, big yard but not totally fenced in. All in all, location and ambience was super!

If this has been a girls getaway this property may have been okay. For a family Christmas it was not a good fit. There was no communal room where all eight of us could gather and watch tv. The dining room and all the bedrooms had tvs but there wasn’t room for everyone. The restrooms were so filled with leftover toiletries, we had to clear them out for our own. The drains were so slow it was disturbing. The kitchen and the cabinets were also filled with expired food. They really couldn’t decide what season to decorate. There were Easter, Thanksgiving and one Christmas decoration left out. You could just tell this house is a money maker with no care given to the scuffed up walls, dirty and chipped paint. It is really sad. The construction around the area made it harder for us to get around with carriages. There is also a pretty loud restaurant right behind the house. The live music didn’t bother us, but it wasn’t ideal with a baby that was trying to sleep. We have stayed at a lot of places for our family getaways and we have never stayed at a place like this before. It is sad because it could have been a very sweet place.

We loved our stay here with our dog. It is walking distance to everything Main Street has to offer, quiet at night, super comfortable bed, and the hot tub was a perfect way to relax!

Great house located 1 block off the strip in Fredericksburg. We will definitely stay here again.

Our recent stay was perfect. The house is located in a great location within walking distance to Main Street and oh so cozy. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms make you never want to leave. Home was tidy and very clean. The rich history and quality craftsmanship made our stay wonderful. We will be repeat visitors for sure.

This property gave you the Fredericksburg vibe with the vintage look. It was right behind Hondos so we were able to walk to go eat. We also were able to walk to main to go shopping. The house was beautiful, clean, and super comfy. Thanks again

Marketplatz Manor was great for two couples to have private space and plenty of space to share wine and meals.

My friends and I love to stay at Marktplatz Manor. It is spacious including the 3 large bedrooms, each with a king bed as well as a very large kitchen. It reminds me of being in my grandmother's house when I was young! It is very close to Main Street, various restaurants and shops. Will definitely be back.
