Room amazing beautifully decorated food delicious and staff lovely

Nothing it was fantastic

The staff were excellent and did all they could to make sure our stay was lovely. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The bar area was great for chilling, drinking and playing scrabble or any other games that were on offer.

There was no window in our room apart from a dirty skylight. Most of the time we couldn’t open it for fresh air because, very sensibly, it closes with rain. So we didn’t have access to a view or fresh air until we got out into the car park.

Fantastic food, had Sunday roast lunch before checking in, perfect. Decent size bed and excellent shower. Very friendly staff team..

Fridge in room was not very cool, milk went off overnight, not sure I would keep fresh dog food in it if staying longer than one night. No window in room (unless you count the roof skylight), didn't realize when I booked. Bathroom exceptionally hot, glad of fan provided.

The room was so lovely, beautifully decorated and super clean! I’m always a bit particular when it comes to rooms but this was very modern, lovely wooden flooring, oak furniture - you can tell there has been a lot of effort put into these. Breakfast in the morning was all included and staff were so attentive - the food was top tier so I will definitely be returning if my work brings me back to the areas again.

Everything about our stay was excellent. Room, food, atmosphere! The Filly is without a doubt worth visiting, owner and staff very friendly and welcoming especially to our dog.🐶

Lovely little Inn with excellent staff and food. Loved that you could walk out from the Inn straight into the New Forest. Easy to find and close to all the lovely villages by car. I'd also recommend the little garden centre and Pig Beer Brewery next door.

It was very noisy because of being on one of the main roads through the New Forest.

Awoken 4.30 a.m. with traffic noise, inn was on a very busy road.

Really nice pub with nice modern rooms. The room was comfortable with a few nice extras. Good quality tea and coffee in the rooms with cookies and fresh milk in the fridge. Wifi worked well and the beds were comfortable. The food in the pub for both dinner and breakfast was great. Overall a fab experience that exceeded our expectations. Not bad value for money.

The Filly Inn was a great place to stay for our visit to Beaulieu Motor Museum. It's in a lovely part of the world, we were first time visitors to the New Forest and will definitely return. The twin room was spacious with a wonderfully bright, clean ensuite. The food was excellent and portions very generous. The adjoining bar served a small but good range of beers. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful too. We would recommend The Filly for a relaxed stay in the heart of the New Forest.

Great food and service.

We had a 1 night stay at The Filly Inn, the whole experience was very relaxing. Staff made us feel welcomed on arrival, were friendly, attentive and accommodating. We ate in the pub side as we were tired from our journey, the food was served promptly: the ham hock terrine with homemade piccalilli was amazing, our steak cooked perfectly and the Korean chicken burger very flavourful. The breakfast was even better, good quality ingredients, very generous portions and absolutely delicious. The location of the inn was stunning, beautiful views of the New Forest and only a short drive from Brockenhurst where we met the local ponies. We would definitely return again.

The bedroom was a little warm but the fan provided remedied this.

Proximity to the main road. I thought there could be more signage about where to go for a walk.

Lovely staff who gave us a warm friendly welcome and the room was tastefully decorated with a great shower and very comfortable bed. Nice touches included vegan, cruelty free toiletries and homemade biscuits. Staff were happy to accommodate us at dinner providing an alternative vegan option for us to have in addition to the one on the menu. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Brockenhurst which is challenging to walk to, but there is a wonderful nature reserve on their doorstep.

The room was unbearably hot. A fan was provided which was powerful but noisy. There are not enough vegan options on the menu and the food is expensive. The waitress serving us was very veggie friendly and provided us with another option - all the food we ate was OK.

From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming. Gertie our 5 month old puppy was made to feel just as important and the whole experience was excellent. We could not have asked for anything more. The owners were very friendly and made sure Gertie had her freshly cooked sausage every morning.The location is excellent for exploring the New Forest. The best roast dinner we have had for a long time. A big thank you to all not forgetting Skye. We will be back.
