We love this condo, it has a perfect view of the ocean and the condo is very comfortable. We’ve stayed here two years in a row and can’t wait to come back!

Great vacation! Nice condo, with upgrades. Great view and location! Loved the fact that the condo was already stocked with household staples such as trash liners, dishwasher pods, and laundry detergent! Also the seating on the balcony was ample for up to 6 individuals. We have stayed at OP many times but have never had the owners leave the gate remote or an access card to the Summer Beach Club which was a super nice amenity!! Thanks and can’t wait for the next visit to this wonderful island!!!

We had a great stay! The condo was immaculately kept and well stocked. The whole process was seamless from booking and move-in, to move-out. The owners were very easy to deal with and provided helpful guidance and tips on local activities, restaurants, and sights. The location was very convenient to shopping and the beach was excellent and never too crowded. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful condo, comfortable beds and furniture, very well equipped, fabulous view.

The property was clean, comfortable, well stocked with towels and beach equipment, and perfectly situated with excellent views of the ocean from the sixth floor. As others have mentioned, the carpet in one of the bedrooms (not both) does need addressing as there is some small staining caused by previous renters, but both bedrooms had plenty of closet and drawer space and the king size beds were super comfy. The bathrooms were also very clean and we loved their modern design. When we arrived, we had an issue with the lock. The bolt had snapped off completely (we suspect from wear and tear over time with people leaving it in the locked position and the door ajar while they unload/load their cars and move luggage into/out of the property causing it to bang against the frame with the strong through draft) and so we had to call Peter for emergency assistance to fix it as soon as we arrived. He dealt with the issue immediately and we had a locksmith arrive within 20-30 minutes of our call to him. This is the only reason I mention it, to show how quick and responsive he was in dealing with and resolving the problem. It caused us no inconvenience as we just carried on unloading our vehicles while one of us stayed in the property and the locksmith had been and gone before we’d even finished settling in. Communication with Peter was excellent from the very beginning. He is very polite, responsive, and helpful and I was pleasantly surprised at how much information he provided by way of a written document he emailed us shortly before our trip. I’ve stayed in plenty of vacation rentals over the years and never had any owner go to that much trouble. It was very much appreciated. This is a lovely place to stay, a little gem on the beach, and I would definitely recommend it.

Property owners were awesome to communicate with. We loved the view from the 6th floor and really enjoyed time on the deck/patio, as well as the beach! Condo had two or three cleanliness issues and minor items in need of repair, but we would 100% return and stay here!

The master suite was fine. The additional suite was unacceptable. Both lamps were broken, carpet stained and nasty, found paper debris under bed. (Room was not cleaned adequately.) Bathroom in this suite sink and tub didn’t drain well. Toilet not flushing well. Washer had sewer smell coming from it. I was embarrassed because I selected the property, and shared it with our friends. Would not return to this condo (Sol Mate) for reasons above.

This property is beautiful and the views of the ocean were peaceful! We would 1000% rent this again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Sol Mate codo in Ocean Place. It was maybe the best furnished vacation condo we’ve ever booked. The beach was perfect for daily walks and we were close to a number of outstanding places to eat. Peter and Mary went above and beyond expectations with their welcoming gift and quick attention to the smallest details. Thanks again for a great return to Amelia Island. We are sure it won’t be our last! Warmest regards!

Perfect place to stay in Amelia Island!

Unparalleled views, comfortable and upscale furnishings, easy and fast access to the beach, and many nearby restaurants and a very good grocery. Best unit we’ve stayed in at Ocean Place.

My family loved the place and the décor makes you feel like you are at home. The amenities are everything that you could possibly want or need. The view from the balcony you can't help but to love waking up to it every morning. The beach was great and you had lots of room to spread out from everyone else.

What a beautiful home! It was well stocked and very comfortable. We had everything we needed.

Property was as advertised.....upscale, clean, comfortable, well-stocked with fantastic 6th floor views. Everything was very comfortable and the owners have an informative folder listing everything from emergency numbers to where to eat and what to do. They have put considerable effort listing most things pertinent to a successful stay. The beach here is incredible, perfect for all ages. We plan on returning.....

Unfortunately, a lot of things out of anyone’s “control” happened. Loss of power, elevator issues, no elevator working for a long amount of time. I understand completely that this happens, but the response time and care by the owner was awful. Carpets in both bedrooms definitely need some addressing.

We would rent again.

Lovely condo that suited my family of 5. Kitchen fully stocked with the necessary tools and appliances. We try and stay at this property location every year because of the convenience with a pool and directly on the beach.

The property was exactly as described. The view each day from the balcony was spectacular. The quality of the beds, appliances, etc. was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with extras, like spices and coffee filters, plenty of everything. The beach location is perfect. Less crowded than most of the beaches and easy access. The area around the condo is beautiful and upscale. I stayed there with my mom and sister. all experienced travelers with upscale taste. We were all impressed and thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. The host was very responsive. We only had to contact them because we didn't fully read the survival guide. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys for children, etc. We didn't want to leave.

Everything need right on the beach. Condo was clean and beautiful. Peter was very quick to respond to our questions. I would recommend this place if you want a relax and enjoy the beach. We will be back. Hopefully soon. Ken Ashburnham Ma.

As described, this beautiful home is situated right on the beach- with all of the sights and sounds and sunrises that are only possible being so close to the Atlantic Ocean. Terrific location, well stocked and maintained, and very proactive and communicative owners. Would definitely return.

Great place for my sister and I to have a long weekend getaway. She’s been coming to the island for 25 years, but this was my first visit. She loved Sol Mate as much as I did. Easy drive to everywhere we wanted to go, and right on a private, quiet, uncrowded beach. Hosts were attentive when I needed them and hands off when I didn’t. Beach and umbrella chair service was also so convenient. Can’t wait to plan my next visit and would love to be able to stay at Sol Mate again!

Sol Mate is everything, and more, than advertised. The only problem we had was having to leave at checkout time, we could have stayed forever. The property is comfortable, updated and felt like home. The balcony view is amazing and kept us entertained. We are looking at dates for next year and plan to return as much as possible. Peter was great to work with and always responsive. Thanks for having us!

Loved staying here! Hosts were wonderful to work with. Condo is in great condition with very nice furnishings, bath towels, beach towels, kitchen items. The absolute best part is waking up in the morning, opening up the curtain and sliding the glass door to the bright sunshine and GLORIOUS ocean (makes quite a sound), and hopping back in the bed to bask in the glory!!! The building is well-maintained, and is so quiet. We didn't hear any noise from the hall, or from any units above or around us. The beach is clean and vast. What a memorable stay! Thank you for making our 25th Anniversary so special!!

The view is amazing from the minute you walk in the door! Property is very comfortable and inviting and the kitchen is well stocked. In addition, it has everything you need for a beach vacation The location next to the Ritz is great for getting a night cap in the lobby or having lunch by the pool. Great place for a weekend or week long getaway!

This property is beautiful and the owner outstanding. He communicated with us throughout the reservation and stay. This was our second time coming to Amilia Island and was by far the best. We highly recommend this property and will definitely rent it again for our next visit.
