The property was true to the listing and the proximity to beaches and attractions (Zoo, Sea World) were great for our family. The host was responsive, and check in/out was smooth. Only reason for a 3 star rating = very poor sleep. It may have been a fluke since no other reviews mentioned it... but the noise from the unit above us negatively impacted our stay. We could hear every footstep and it seemed like the tenant was pacing in clogs from 9pm-midnight a few nights and then again at 4am on Friday night. We could clearly hear drawers being opened/closed, toilet flushed, etc. Between the noise and the very warn in mattress on the Queen bed, we unfortunately slept horribly our whole trip. I urge the host to deep clean the dishwasher as well. Lots of build up that seemed unsanitary!

Property needs updates. Pillows were hard, bedding needs updates. The entire condo needs to be freshly painted and cleaned. However, it was very quiet!

Checkin was easy. The property was at a great location - close to the beach and great restaurants. There were some issues with the property: 1) Lamp light was broken in the room with the twin beds 2) Portable Heater was broken in the room with the twin beds 3) Trash was leftover in the queen room bathroom 4) The sponge in the kitchen was old and used 5) There were Cobwebs / dead bugs in the corner of the ceiling 6) Contacting and receiving a response from the host via VRBO was delayed 7) The queen bed was horribly uncomfortable

Clean and excellent location

We loved our stay here. Easy check in and check out. Nice area, felt very safe. Outstanding communication with the host. Stocked with everything/tons of towels, blankets, sheets, tp, beach toys, 2 bikes, toys etc. Super close to the bay and really close to the beach and to a ton of restaurants on the beach. Tv in every room. Great dual brew Keurig. Pull out couch. Beds were comfy. Super cute beach decor that made it welcoming and cozy. Quiet neighborhood. Quiet neighbors, we never knew when someone was home upstairs. Cute patio with comfortable seating. Would stay again.

This property is just as advertised. Excellent location and wonderful host. 3 ladies on a girl's trip. It was so nice to be close enough to walk everywhere and anywhere. Sushi spot and gelato were some favorites. The bikes were also a plus to have. This house would totally work for a family trip too.

The condo was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Owners had clearly put a lot of effort into making it a sweet little hideaway. Nice little sitting area on one side. Parking spot was very hard to get into, and I wouldn’t have stayed here alone as the area was a little sketchy after dark with parking on a back alley. It was all on one level downstairs, so a noisy family kept us awake one night. On the positive side, it was super fun to be able to walk a few steps and be on the beach any walk the other way and be on the Bay. It was also very conveniently located to hop on main roads to visit sites. We enjoyed great Greek food at a very humble looking little street cafe. This would be an especially ideal place for families in the spring and summer.

Great Location and such a cozy and clean place. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms which is nice. We were able to check in early which was huge for us! A big thumbs up, this place was perfect for 2 couples or a family.

Stayed in this welcoming spot with my husband and almost adult son to celebrate the boy's upcoming birthday. The host was responsive and friendly when I reached out around arrival questions and the location was unparalleled. It was just steps from the beach and the bay as promised and such a fun surrounding area. There were restaurants, shops and all that Mission Beach has to offer. I cannot make a higher recommendation!

Property met our needs for us three close friends, but is very dated. Would recommend supplying new towels as the ones provides were very thin and rough to the touch. We mostly only slept there, so didn’t have time to take advantage of the bikes, beach boards or the cute patio. All in all it was a great trip and good location.

My husband and I stayed here with our 14 month old son, it was wonderful! The location was perfect. We were directly between the bay and ocean and a few steps away from a great park. The owners were more than accommodating and responded quickly to all my inquiries. They had everything we needed (pack and play, toys, and high chair) so we didn’t have to travel with those items. We have every intention of staying here again if there is availability. Thank you!

We loved our stay here for mine and my daughter’s birthday! It is so close to everything fun. The condo is perfect and a great size for family time and games but also to relax when needed. Condo was perfect for our family of four (kids 4.5 and 1.5) Patio was very nice and private with ficus bushes surrounding it. Listing description and photos were accurate.

What a great location! Beach toys and boogie boards were a plus. Plenty of room for six including cooking meals.

Loved the condo and it’s proximity to everything.

I spent two nights with my buddies at the property while on a deep sea fishing trip. The location and property were perfect for what we were doing. The size of the condo was perfect for 4 people and the home is kept-up well. A few critiques: 1. The fridge had too much food, condiments, etc. from previous guests. I think anything opened should be thrown away and the fridge should by wiped down each time a guest(s) vacate. 2. We were asked to run the dish washer, but there were no pods to run the washer with. We decided to run it with hot water anyway and the stench coming from the washer was intense. On further inspection, the pod container was caked with months of residue. Finally, We could not get the antiquated Keurig to work. Having easy access to coffee in the morning is key for a lot of people. In the end, a clean kitchen is really important to me and for that reason, I would not reserve this property again.

Very close to the bay and the beach. Place was very clean and lots of amenities, ie.. Bikes, beach chairs and boogie boards. Full kitchen and grill as well. Will for sure consider this again.

We enjoyed a fun sisters weekend here! The property is just as described in the listing. The location was within walking distance to the beach and several shops and restaurants.

This place gave us a perfect home base for the start of our visit to San Diego. Beaches and Belmont Park were minutes away, as were many restaurant options. It was well equipped and comfortable and we loved having the space and the patio to enjoy when we weren't our exploring the area. We would definitely stay again!

Property was very clean, great location and Natalie was very prompt in answering our questions. We loved our stay and how close it was to Mission beach, downtown to sightsee, and other beaches. We loved using the bikes to go up and down the boardwalk when the weather was chilly. Definitely recommend!

One of my families favorite ways to unplugged and recharge is relaxing on the beach. Over the years we have made Mission Beach our go-to, but typically during busy times spending top dollar for less-than-ideal hotel rooms. We opted to try VRBO for the first time and will not go back to hotels! The location was amazing! The booking was exactly as listed with no surprises, but what made this exceed expectations was or experience with the hosts. We reached out prior to the vacation. Responses were prompt, kind, and personal! An unbelievable experience; we are already planning to stay here again!
