The house was great for a quick weekend getaway. Very clean, and had everything we needed. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub and the quick walk to the river trail. Kerrville was a lot of fun. Highly recommend!!!

We loved our Thanksgiving stay at Dos Vaqueros. The home is charming, spotless, well-equipped, and the location is great. I loved my morning runs and afternoon strolls on the river trail. Dos Vaqueros brought us some much needed respite, and we are already looking at our calendar and planning a return visit. Thank you so much!

We booked the house for a one week stay. Great, quiet location. Near or easy drive to all the area has to offer. House is nicely decorated. We went for walks every morning on the path behind the house. Enjoyed the deck in the afternoons after returning from our day outings in the area. Nice to have a large grocery store nearby, as we prepared most meals at the house. Our special night dinning out was at 1011 Bistro - outdoor seating to enjoy the divine beef ribeye meal. This was our first time to Texas Hill Country. We hope to return to the area again soon.

It was a great choice to rent a home while in Kerrville. We’re renovating a home for resale and nice to go to a home to shower fix something to eat and then relax in a jacuzzi while enjoying family and friends. Staying in a home is like being at home. Will definitely do it again.

Great rental. Well equipped kitchen with keurig. We used hot tub everyday. Comfortable beds. Can walk out backyard to river trail. Bout a mile walk in either direction you can get to larger part of river. Would definitely stay here again when in Kerrville!

Comfy house with a fab location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very cute, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the big back yard, fire pit and hot tub. Very close to good restaraunts and the river. Hope to come again sometime:)

This is a great place to stay. It was perfect for just the wife and I. It was quiet, which is what we wanted. Never heard a peep from any neighbors. The street was not busy at all. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Our two favorite features were: (1) access to the river walk right out the back door, and (2) the hot tub. Property manager was great, too. I highly recommend this place. I would stay there again.

Have not found a better place to stay for the Kerrville Triathlon Festival. The location is great, right on the greenway trail and the house has wonderful amenities. This is my second stay and will hope to reserve this house in the future.

Everything we expected and wanted. Charming house in an ideal location to river trail, activities and restaurants. We rented bikes at the nearby shop and rode everywhere! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We loved the location of this home. We were close to everything that we wanted to do. We enjoyed most of the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, close walking trail.) We did not get to throw corn out for the wildlife. The pans to cook with weren't the best but usable. The only issue I had was with check-in times. When I booked, the house had a 2pm check-in then when I payed the final installment it said 3pm. When I clarified with the owner, they said 4pm. We were really looking forward to a 2pm checkin, so we were bummed.

This was our third trip through Vrbo in 7 weeks; and, unfortunately, our second and third trips each had check-in problems unrelated to services provided by the owners.The first incident occurred during trip 2. When we arrived for check-in we discovered that our room was already taken by another family- the cause, doubling booking. The good news- luckily the owner had an opening in another room for us.The second incident occurred upon arrival to "this" property when we found the cleaning service in room, and unaware of the booking. They were not expecting any occupants until Nov 20. As a result, the hot tub was unavailable for use since it was being serviced on our only full day on property. If Vrbo can resolve these booking technology issues, we will be much happier (and less stressed) travelers. Until then we will have to be more vigilant in communicating with owners when booking future stays.

Beautiful and charming. Once you walk inside, you feel relaxed and cozy. The cowboy and western decor make you remember the simpler times of life. The walking trail and river are great and right behind the house. Great restaurants are close by and some are withing walking distance. The owner is wonderful and very attentive to your every need!

We loved the house which had everything we needed and more. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few minutes to shops and great places to eat. The Rails and the Humble Fork are a must if you are visiting Kerrville. Thanks Susie for letting us stay in your lovely home!!!

Great location and loved the western decor!

My family enjoyed our weekend stay at the rental. We didn't have access information when we arrived but Sue, the owner, returned our call within 5 minutes or so with instructions on how to get in. She was accommodating in allowing us to leave a bit late since my wife was competing in the Kerrville triathlon festival. This location cannot be beat for that event. We really liked having access to the trail system through the back yard. The area was very quiet and peaceful!

Had a great stay over this Labor Day weekend. The house was great and in a good location in the Kerrville area with great access to the downtown area. The house was great and just like the pictures posted, it does not disappoint!

Beautiful home, yard, furnishings, and walk to the river. We were totally relaxed by the time we left, and dreading going back to our usual everyday life and stress! We will be back!!

Sue - We has an amazing time in your beautiful home in Kerrville. It was in a great location and the amenities were awesome. We cooked, we hung out in the hot tub and even used the fire pit. From check in to check out, my first EVER 5 STAR EXPERIENCE!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Dos Vaqueros. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful walking trail just beyond the end of the yard. I was hoping to be able to get in the river but it is really just too shallow at that point. It was very pretty to walk beside though. The house was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. (It has two bedrooms but we only used one). And I has a nice big TV in the living room and a smaller one in the master bedroom. The only thing I would suggest is to add a DVD player. We had brought some movies and thought there would be a DVD player. But the TV was great and has lots of channels available. We also enjoyed the covered hot tub. That is a wonderful feature. All in all, I would highly recommend this property. And I would love to know where you got that Texas pillow with the guitar on it. So cute.
