Initially, I was a little disappointed, thinking the lift room was smaller than it had looked online. And it also only had one bed, which could make things a little awkward in my situation. But it was my fault, as I had mistakenly booked the king bed loft room, not a 2 bed.
This place does not have an elevator, but a spiral staircase (not steep). I ended up living this place. It has an old-timey feel to it, but not in a bad way. It was unique and comfortable, clean but still had it's historic foundation, which I appreciate.
The front desk attendants were all wonderful and polite and friendly. The groundskeeper came quickly as he saw I was about to carry my (quite heavy) luggage up the staircase, and saved the day.
If I ever come back to Kerrville, I will definitely stay here again. Overall, it was a great stay with an amazing staff.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Inn of the Hills in Kerrville. The grounds are absolutely lovely and our room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient.

Such a peaceful place. Staff were so amazing and helpful. I’ve already planned an additional trip! I loved it, no balcony or patio but they had a small table and chairs outside your room to sit and enjoy coffee or just be outside reading enjoying the atmosphere. I loved it

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Inn of the Hills in Kerrville. The grounds are absolutely lovely and our room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient.

Great place to stay in Kerrville! Walking distance to the river and onsite restaurant and separate bar/saloon. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Reasonable rates.

The room was very, very clean. The decor was very, very dated. I wish they would update. The mattress pad was crinkly and needed another regular pad on top of it. It had pretty waterfalls and the grounds were great for getting your steps in, very safe.

The hotel is dated and average. It has two swimming pools and nice landscaping. However, there are no elevators to the second floor.

This was a lovely hotel with a very comfortable bed for my husband’s back. The room was clean and well kept. Breakfast was not included in the room price but the buffet was reasonably priced and had good offerings.

Found a large roach in the bathroom. Worse than that, the mattress needed replacing years ago. There was a clear intention on the side where the bedside table was. It was very uncomfortable.

It was ok for the price. Room was outdated. Lobby was nice. Door didn’t close well and stuck terribly when trying to open. The refrigerator was terribly noisy. The bathroom was super small and toilet was the size of one you’d find in an RV.
Bed was comfortable.

I was concerned when I first saw the hotel, because it is an older property and it looks like it. However, we were pleasantly surprised with our rooms. It was VERY clean. It did have a musty smell, but it is an older building. It was just my husband and I, so the smaller room didn’t bother us. Considering I prefer staying at mid to high range hotel (holiday inn, Hilton) I would have no issues staying here again.

Wonderful staff and very attentive to guests needs. The room was very clean and attractive. The courtyard was amazing and the nightly view was even more stunning! I will definitely stay again.
