De douche, circa om de 1.5 min. komt er plotseling een paar seconden een golf zeer heet water tussendoor. Daarna is ingestelde temperatuur wat lager dan ingesteld en pas naeen aantal seconden weer normaal waarna het binnen 1.5 min. weer opnieuw seinden

Heel mooi klassiek gebouw, met klassieke inrichting

Lawaai van de grote markt tot in de de vroege uren.

De kamer was koud en de lakens waren klam/koud, intens koud. Benen werden niet warm. in de nacht. De radiator was blijkbaar net aangezet maar die was klein en verwarmde de lucht bij het plafond. Ook in de douche, zelden zulke koude stenen vloeren mee gemaakt. het was de derde verdieping De gang een verdieping lager was al minder koud, beneden had het personeel geen last; Ik klaag niet snel hoor. What did you like: beneden is het gezellig. daarvan kan je , koud zijnde , niet erg genieten. Verder de eerste nacht met name zat er geen pauze in het gedreun van de bassen van muziek van buiten, ik weet dat het een druk plein is maar als je om 4 uur en om 5 uur nog steeds hard gedreun hoort, dat is niet leuk

Gorgeous old hotel, one feels awe staying in this historic building in the center of old Groningen.

Unfortunately the room was very hot and the fan that was provided only partially improved the situation. It was also quite noisy due to the location in the central square. As the city was welcoming its new students this week, there was loud music outside late into the night. However, apparently that is only the case in the second half of August, so I was just unlucky.

Central location, very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds and pleasant stay.

Hospitality was top-notch. The room was amazing. I liked the central location. I could walk to almost everywhere.

location in the centre of the city, 10 mins walk from the train station, friendly staff, lovely breakfast.

Could do with a bit of an update. The room was a bit old fashioned and there was mould in the bathroom ceiling.

nothing. maybe the noise from the crowd on the street, my room was situated on the front.

The silicone of the shower has to be renewed as it was very moldy.

I had diner in the hotel in the evening. I ‘ M sorry to say that for the first time of my life I had to send back the steak. Instead I had pork that was good and I got a drink of the house

A really special location. Of course, Monday was quite good and nice, due to the bars nearby were closed. However, Tuesday night was quite exceptional... Always free coffee at the bar solved it 😉.

People at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Good size room. Great free coffee corner!!!
