What brings this place up is the people and the atmosphere. There were nice animations, all staff was super kind, the gardens are lovely. The animation team did a terrific horror house on Halloween night. We really appreciated that they changed the bungalow as we couldn’t stay in the initial one due to health concerns, and the complimentary water and drink. The food was average but with enough variety and healthy options.

The facilities are a bit basic or old. The first bungalow was too humid. You have to pay for some games like air hockey or billiard. Limited gym, no real spa, it was in the sister resort. Overall, a bit too expensive. As suggestions: a small renovation team could refresh one bungalow at a time with limited impact on the business; there is a need to renovate the gym and install a sauna next to it; the best food was the Canarian one, you should serve it more often.

The sunset bar area was fantastic for sunbathing in peace. Only water available there during the day so a short stroll downstairs to the pool bar but that was ok with us.

Evening entertainment was shocking, all in french and felt exclusionary. Mostly consisted of small sketches by the animation team which we couldn't understand. One sketch showed a team member wearing a black hood and pointing a toy gun at another member who was kneeling on the stage. No idea what they were shouting to each other. Totally inappropriate. Couldn't really describe it as entertainment. No proper singing or dancing although we were only there for 4 weekday nights. Maybe things improve on weekends? Some of the staff were surly and a little rude. Shame as most weren't.

Long queues for restaurant (15 minutes for breakfast) Not enough sun loungers by the pool. Only seating available by the Pool was in the bar. No restaurants or bars nearby

Suzana at the pool bar was lovely. She was always so happy and friendly. Animation staff are all nice. Cleaner are very hard working and alway friendly.

We visit Gran Canaria ever year, for over 25 years. This was our first stay in Masplomas and our last. Food wasn't good. We dined out 5 nights out of 7. Had breakfast 3 times in the week. I'm a vegetarian and there was very few options. The coffee is awful but everyone else seem to drink it. Only 1 English TV channel (CNN News) Nothing for children. Not even a kettle in the kitchen area. Gym is rubbish, no weights and on the roof in direct sunshine. We had to pay €20 a day for us both to use Titans gym in Melonoras. Spent a fortune on taxis, as resort has nothing on its doorstep. When we checked out the staff member didn't even say thank you or goodbye, rude. Was OK for a week, but we won't be going back.

This hotel is very good for families. Also the all inclusive food and drinks are of good quality. The entertainment is a big plus, with different shows every evening. Also the children have a Kids Club and Mini Disco. The pools are climatized and have 26-27 Celsius degrees wich is really good for swimming. The staff is very helpfull. All entertainment was in french the club looke crew ignored us the whole stay no hi nothing rude as if your not french speaking we don't want to no you entertainment staff need a serious over haul unless your french your nothing speakers plus everything they done was like a repeat day in day out never again will I stay hear

The food was great and varied themes each evening, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The pool areas were well maintained and the restaurant and bar staff friendly and approachable. We were there when Spain locked down and the hotel managed everything well and unobtrusively, we would certainly visit again.

The beds are a little on the hard side but then most hotel beds are, it is quite a long way from the beach, so if you are a beach lover a location a little nearer might be better.

I liked the variety of different foods on offer. I liked the pool and the staff were very friendly and helpful

The gym is basic, just cycle and treadmills.
